We stayed in the gran destino tower and it was awesome! We love all the food options, pool, decor and it smells amazing in the lobby! I loved the cafe bombon from the Barcelona lounge. The views are amazing. We could see mt Everest from our room and walking around at night was gorgeous 😍 the rooms are spacious and modern and a nice break from the busyness of the parks. We never had to wait long for a bus.

Pros:

Spacious rooms Lots of food options Pool Beautiful views Lobby smells like heaven

Cons:

None in our book

I stayed here with my family 2 adult and a 5 month old infant 4/29/22-5/14/22 and had a lovely stay. Rooms were very clean and bigger than I was expecting. Mousekeeping came to change towels and take rubbish every other day and in 2 weeks our bedding was changed 3 times. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Pool areas has enough beds and shady spots if you wanted them. We were given a pack and play for the infant, the sides were so high and mattress was practically on the floor so we didnt use it as I couldnt get the little one in and out without struggling. We are at three bridges (coconut chicken curry and the burgers), rix sports bar (key lime pie) and el centro - food court (salads and coffee) and dahlia lounge (all of the tapas and cocktails) i would recommend them all.

Pros:

On site restaurants and lounges are great

Cons:

The first week we were there cheerleading teams took over the resorts, they were loud and in considerate to other guests. The second week there were lots of adult conferences and we didnt notice them in the resort at all.

We stayed here for our very first trip to WDW last year. I was very nervous about all the reviews saying how spread out it was, we booked the Gran Destino Tower to avoid this and we really did! It was amazing! It is beautiful, we had a great view, short 5-10 minute walk to the pool (that was never too crowded), and great food options!

Pros:

Food, theme, pool, activities, and the overall vibe.

Cons:

The only thing I wished was that there was one of those child sizes pull-down beds, the kids sharing a bed the whole trip was a bit of a nuisance, but even they would go back and do this again!

Highly highly recommend!! Our family loves staying at Coronado and always enjoys our stay. If you have young ones, I wouldn’t recommend staying at the tower because it wouldn’t necessarily be a place children would enjoy as much.

Pros:

Very pretty and rooms are huge. Luxurious feel. Many great food options.

Cons:

Only bus transportation. Isn’t surrounded by Disney stuff

Another great stay at Coronado Springs! We stayed in Cabanas in a standard room, very close to the bus stop and a quick walk to the amenities. Thankfully they serve Joffery's at the bakery and that is a quick walk to another bus stop. Quiet resort and very adult. We had drinks at the Barcelona Lounge and it has great art and style to just chill and relax. We had a few hiccups on our trip, thankfully the cast members and the resort coordinator were able to help us out. Rooms were clean and spacious with plenty of storage and places to put your luggage out of the way.

Pros:

Beautiful property Plenty of buses Clean rooms Helpful cast members Barcelona lounge was a great spot for drinks

Cons:

None

Our Jan 16th to 24th stay was amazing. The hotel is beautiful. This is the second time we've stayed here. Building 5 was where we stayed on Nov 2020 trip, and building 6 was for this recent stay. Side note....building 5 (near bus stop 2, which is the first stop when getting picked up to go to the parks, and the first stop on return from the parks---MAJOR BONUS when tired at end of night. Cast member at the shop remembered us from our Nov 2020 trip.

Location of hotel wasn't that far away from the parks, plus it was very quiet even with a convention group staying there at the same time.

Pros:

Beautiful hotel. Wonderful walking areas. Great food options. The staff.

Cons:

Not really a con i guess....but be aware that returning from the parks, the first stop is building 5 area, bus stop 2. Then 3...4...and 1 (tower) is the last stop. Definitely plan accordingly as bus will fill up fast. They are packing the bus.

This gorgeous resort is both sophisticated and laid back -it was the perfect choice for my husband and I. Coronado really punches above its weight with deluxe theming and amenities for that moderate pricetag too. The range of eateries and room types at this particular resort makes it suitable for virtually all Disney visitors, with the Dig Site pool being a hit with young people, the lounges and lake bar super spots for the adults, and both motel- and hotel- style rooms at several pricepoints. Most of all, you really feel the nods to Walt at this resort in its beautiful decor.

Pros:

Views, theming, range of amenities

Cons:

Some folks find it a little spread out, but the bridges really help with this. Lack of non-bus transport options puts off some guests, but the central location makes the buses fairly easy.

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Cabanas at Coronado Springs this past August. We really enjoyed our stay there! The hotel and property as a whole are beautiful. The rooms feel luxurious, with just a little bit of Disney flair in the decor. Despite all the up-scale vibes Coronado Springs has, there’s still plenty of fun and excitement at the large pool with the pyramid and water slide. We don’t have kids, but we really enjoyed that pool, too, as well as the relaxing “quiet pool” near our room. We had a delicious meal at Maya Grill and enjoyed walking the grounds and taking it all in. This hotel only has bus transportation to the parks, but it was not an issue for us. A few times, we were the only two people on the bus.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a hotel with a luxurious feel at a moderate price.

Pros:

Rooms with a luxurious feel, beautiful grounds, multiple pools, great dining options

Cons:

None for us
