We always love coming here. We ate here on 12/21 before the Candelight Processional. The food and service was very good. Got to see Remy, which was an added bonus. The gentleman escorting him was very funny.

We've eaten here our last two trips to Epcot but probably will try a new restaurant next time. The French selections are somewhat limited and my Salmon was a bit dry however the rest of our dining party completely enjoyed their food. Food was a bit pricy but that is always the case for Disney. We had a free DDP so costs was not an issue for us. The silly waiter came around and interacted with everyone, showing off the mouse character from the Rattitoule movie. He was HILARIOUS!

Pros:

Atmosphere / service

Cons:

pricy; food quality

While Le Cellier had been recommended, and we considered Monsieur Paul---we liked the menu here (our first visit to this restaurant). An then we loved the food!
We have a great French hotel and restaurant near home, but haven't been in awhile, so chose here-- as opposed to previous dining with the kids.
Our waiter, Ghislain was shy/reserved--had only been in the US 3 months, but warmed up upon talking a bit--though they are clearly pressured to keep moving. (He said fish would take 12 min. and meat would be 15 min.) We had ADR for 6:50P, arrived just before and had to wait about 15min. OK--except the reservation was ONLY listed in my FIRST name(!) They apparently have majority of tables for 3-4 persons, as opposed to 2 --at least at our period, and maybe in general.
Couldn't decide btwn filet and price fixe--but Ghislain was helpful (and generally attentive). House wine wasn't killer, but was still very tasty. Husband said best meal he's had in quite awhile! We thought the price was reasonable for Disney (& better than MN). Likely not the most suitable situation for kids, and agree this doesn't seem very 'Disney'--but that was fine with the 2 of us. While the menu is more approachable/basic than typical France....we got a great meal!

Pros:

Great food!

Cons:

Air conditoning is VERY drafty (in January!)

Had dinner Fri 1-11-13 at 8:00 pm. When approaching the hostess at podium, I asked her to say my name and time in French, as I knew my daughter would be excited if I did. The hostess refused to speak French to me and made a point to respond in English. Weird. She also did not smile at anyone. The man who called our names piped up though and said I spoke French quite well. He was very nice.

On to the waiter: he was distracted the whole time. There were only 2 of us and he barely stopped at all at the table. When he handed us out dessert menus, he actually had his back to us holding out the menus behind him while talking to the people at the table next to us! Lol! Omg how lame.

Ok so mediocre food not very French at all. The only French thing on menu was escargot. I had tenderloin and it was tender I can say that, cheesy potatoes ok and thin frozen green beans were plain and tasteless. My appetizer was a simple salad. Daughter had macaroni and cheese was ok.

1 dessert, little piece of cake with 1 raspberry, 1 glass of wine, 2 coffees. Bill was 105.00. Not worth it at all, will pass this one by next time.

Pros:

Pretty restaurant

Cons:

Staff , mediocre food, not worth $$$ boring menu

Very disappointed with our meal here. It was not as good as it has been in the past. I had the scallops and shrimp. It consisted of 3 shrimp and 2 scallops in a lemon and corriander sauce, supposedly with mushrooms, potatoes, bacon, carrots. There were about 5 cubes of potatoes in mine but the carrots and mushrooms were missing. I could see the carrots in the same dish at the table next to us. Our party of 5 was seated at a table for 4 with one extra place setting stuck on the end in a walkway between the main restaurant and the dining area next to the walkway to the theatre. The tables were very small, so they should have put us at a table for 6. We were served one baguette for all 5 of us. I observed at a nearby table that a party of 4 was served 2 baguettes. We requested more and were given one. The quality of the food at our table was fair at best. One of our party was not on the dining plan and ordered from the pric fixe menu. His soup was served in a fancy bowl. He could not find the cheese in his French Onion Soup. I noticed at a nearby table that someone was served the onion soup in a bigger bowl and she had lots of cheese oozing from her spoon as she was eating. Perhaps those using a dining plan or opting for the pric fixe menu are second class citizens here.

Pros:

Dessert

Cons:

Seating, entree

Ate here for the first time on 2/6/13. I was a little apprehensive after reading so not so good reviews about the wait staff but decided to give it a try and I am so glad we did! Server was very nice and attentive. He constantly refilled our drinks and answered all our questions. Beautiful restaurant! Had a seat by the front windows which was so nice. Food was very good. I ordered the French onion soup and Macaroni and cheese, husband had the same soup and short ribs, my MIL had a salad and the salmon and both boys had the breaded chicken (chicken fingers) and pasta. Everyone really enjoyed theirs meals! Sorbet dessert was excellent! The waiter that pushed Remy around was great with the kids and Remy was adorable! Will definitely eat here again!

Pros:

Food, remy, atmosphere, server

Cons:

nothing

Enjoyed our first trip here in December 2012. Wait time, with reservations, was less than 15 minutes (though it was a little chilly waiting outside). Very attentive service. Really enjoyed my beef dinner. My teenage son had shrimp and loved it, but said it wasn't enough (when are teenage boys ever full?) Enjoyed creme brulee. A little loud, not overwhelming, and a little packed in. Would definitely do again...

Pros:

Good food & service

Cons:

a little loud

We've always enjoyed the food here and always had excellent service, so the addition of Remy was just icing on the eclair. And I have to say....he was so darn cute! I briefly contemplated snagging him from platter and attempting to run away with him, but realized I couldn't deprive others of their chance to see him. I wish they had a plush version as cute as the little guy on the platter!

And again, I should note, the food here is unbelievable. I've never had a bad meal. Even the picky eaters in our group enjoyed it!

Pros:

Remy, food, Remy, atmosphere, Remy, service. Oh, also Remy!

Cons:

Not enough Remy

The three of us were here on a very busy, cold, rainy night, so busy they turning away walk-ups. We did check in about 15 minutes early, but in spite of the fact that people were lingering over their dinners to avoid the cold we were still seated right at our reservation time.
The atmosphere was very cozy, warm and inviting. The waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. He was very quick to bring additional pots of hot water for our tea and an additional loaf of hot crusty bread as soon as we had nearly finished our first servings of them. For entrees we had the duck with cherries and the Coquille St. Jacques, both excellent, very satisfying and the portion size was perfect. The dessert was an exceptional strawberry cream cake, very fresh and just the right amount of sweetness. We will be coming back here on our next trip.

Pros:

excellent food, superb waiter
