We visited on our trip 1/30-2/10 one night for dinner. My son has a knee problem that was acting up. Our adr was for 630but we were in France about 5pm. I explained to the hostess he was in pain and if there was any chance we could get in earlier so we could eat and leave for the day. She said absolutely ad to have a seat. They were calling people in left and right and we were called probably between 5-10 minutes at most. We were given a table by the window. We were brought a baguette. So hard but its a baguette. I'm not one for crusty bread so not an issue. She brought a second one out although we didn't ask. We did the prix fix menu. 2 fr. Onion soup, 1bacon salad. The salad was quite large. The soup I thought was good. Ds thinks he likes it until it arrives so he picked at it at best. He ordered escargot and still loves it. He got mac and cheese, we got the coq au vin style beef with polenta. It was ok but I don't have to get it again.
For dessert we had 2creme brulees and ? Best things to order escargot, bacon salad and crème brulee.

hostess

Our family & friends had dinner here in January. I would say that the best part of our meal was our waitress who was wonderfully attentive. Our food was DISAPPOINTING! The French onion soup was good. My husband ordered the charcuterie board as an appetizer! Wow! Don’t bother! AWFUL! Cheap cheese, I could buy better at my local supermarket! Awful pâté! Such a serious disappointment, especially considering the staggering price of $16.75 for two cheap cheeses, an awful pate, and six grapes! The Salade de chèvre chaud (Baked Goat Cheese) wasn’t bad, but that’s about it. I got the Boeuf Bourguignon as an entree. It was meh… for $32.95! My husband got the Salade du Chef au poulet as an entree, as he wanted something a little lighter. We could have made a much better salad at home. We decided to try the Crème Brûlée for dessert, it was liquid!! AWFUL! So very disappointing! We will not be going back to this restaurant! Very sad to have spent $200.00, only to have felt like we got a very poor meal, and got better food at many quick service locations across the parks. Overall, I would say, skip it and eat at the various stands across the park, at least when there is a festival going on.

Pros:

None

Cons:

Expensive & not very flavorful

This was one of our favorite restaurants. A must do at least once during our trips. We always go for lunch. We love the croquet monsieur, quiche and the burgers served with fries in the newspaper cups. We were so disappointed when we ate here last week. The menu was changed several weeks ago and none of these items are on the menu. It looks like it has changed to the regular dinner menu. Personally, I like lunch for lunch, not a heavy dinner. I am so incredibly sad to take this one off our list.

Pros:

Service

Cons:

New Menu

Last year we went here and it was our favorite. This year we were seated in front of a pole smashed in between several tables. The waitress didn't come near us for a 15 minutes from the time we were seated. We had to ask for bread. I ordered a fish dish that was 2 scallops and 3 shrimps with mushy potatoes. My coffee was cold and it took ten minutes to get cream. Not sure what happened but not going back!

Pros:

Cons:

cold coffee, poor service, food not that great for price

Was really looking forward to this meal - we opted for the prix fixe for both of us, and both of us left almost our entire meal on the plate. The steak tasted like canned dog food, and the chocolate "mousse" was dense to the point of being difficult to eat. Even the bread was hard and stale. I hope it was an off day, but we won't be going again to find out.

Pros:

server was very friendly and pleasant

Cons:

food

We arrived early and were quickly taken to our table to be greeted by our friendly waiter. After drinks we all selected the prix fixe menu...French Onion soup, beef and dessert. We asked twice for more bread that came in a bag as it was not enough for our party of four. The soup was hot but a bit salty. The beef was very fatty and cold. The chocolate ice cream for dessert was very soft. Other members in my party did enjoy their apple tart, crème brulee, and chocolate cake. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Pros:

Service

Cons:

Fatty Beef Bourguignon and cold food

Our party of 6 had dinner here in September of 2021 and could not have been more disappointed. I have eaten here many times over the years and it has gotten progressively worst but this was the worst. I understand since Covid the servers are no longer region authentic, which is a huge atmospheric loss, but the quality and quantity of the food has declined greatly too. Don't bother with the charcuterie board, we received packaged saltine crackers with a few not great cheeses and a pate that was yucky. The filet was not filet, it was another cut of beef (perhaps a shoulder cut), the salmon was dry, the potatoes were decent, the veggies nothing to write home about. I have never minded paying for good food but they charge a premium here and the food was on par with a hospital cafeteria. It is not worth the money.

Pros:

Servers were nice but inexperienced. Martini's were good.

Cons:

Food taste, quality, quantity and price.

Having been to Paris I can\\'t say I\\'m much surprised by the food quality in this pavilion. Like Paris, the only really good food comes from the bakery. Chefs de France is a pretty place but not one of the restaurants you\\'re going to walk into and be overwhelmed by. The food is absolutely disappointing IMO. I ordered the short ribs over noodles and it tasted IDENTICAL to a Lean Cuisine that I\\'ve had a million times in my lifetime! It was so bad that I couldn\\'t even finish it. The one good thing I tried was the lobster bisque. I wish I had just had a big bowl of that instead of what I would call and amuse bouche due to the tiny size. My Dad enjoyed his salmon though. On another visit I had the ham and cheese crepe and it was also disgusting. Two times was enough for me when there are so many better options in this park. Food at any given restaurant was surprisingly very bad in Paris and we probably have eaten in at least 7 or 8 different ones, so I would say that Chef\\'s is on par with the real deal. Skip this one and go for Rose and Crown or Garden Grill if you want more than the novelty of eating in France.

Pros:

Pretty restaurant

Cons:

Extremely tasteless food that will remind you of Clark Griswold\\'s experience in Paris.

We ate here during the week of April 22, 2019. We had first eaten here two years ago, hadn't been thrilled with the food, but wanted to try it again. Unfortunately, the experience had not improved. The tables are very close together and so if someone is seated next to your party, there is no privacy. Our waiter was not at all friendly. My mother had the French Onion soup, which she disliked. My daughter and I had the macaroni and cheese, which was average. We didn't stay for dessert because we just wanted to get out of there. For an expensive meal at Disney, I was surprised at both the service and the flavors. Next time we all agreed we'd rather go to Via Napoli for pizza!

Pros:

We had an ADR and were seated on time.

Cons:

Too loud, tables too close together, food not very flavorful

Visited Les Chefs de France on Friday, May 13, 2016 for dinner. We had dinner reservations for 7:45 and waited about 15 minutes to be seated. My husband and I each ordered the French Onion soup for our entrée, and we shared a cured meat platter as our appetizer. Our waiter was very abrupt during our ordering process and appeared to be in a rush. When our soup arrived, it looked really good. Our first bite of the bread crust and cheese covering the soup was very difficult to get on the soup spoon. The cheese was so thick and almost elastic like in texture and the bread crust under the cheese was like mush. We each had to cut through the elastic cheese with our knives in order to get it on the spoon. Once we got through the cheese and bread crust, the onion broth was at a minimum, just barely warm. Our waiter was unavailable to hear our complaint of the barely warm soup as he rushed by our table several times when we tried to flag him down. By the time he got back to our table, we were ready to pay our tab and leave. Our half eaten soup bowls were whisked away and we were presented with our bill. We were very disappointed with our meal AND with the lack of personal service at the restaurant. Will not be back at this restaurant in the future.

Pros:

Beautiful Dining Room

Cons:

Poor service, mediocre food
