It was wonderful to travel from Pop to Epcot. It was quick. It was peaceful. It was beautiful scenery on the way. However, they are still working out the kinks. I got stuck at the Caribbean pub, and had to wait almost an hour to catch a bus to Pop.

Pros:

It was relaxing and relatively quick.

Cons:

They are still working out the kinks.

This is an unbelievably smooth ride with spectacular views of lots of Disney areas. It proved to be a speedy route to the Pop Century Resort from Hollywood Studios or Epcot. Some guests were leery of riding it, but we all felt safe and comfortable

Pros:

Beautiful view and peaceful ride. Much quicker means of transportation than buses.

Cons:

We all wish it went to Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom.

I rode the Skyliner on opening day. I thought that the system worked great and it was much faster than I expected. We rode it a few times during our trip. We found the boarding lines moved quickly even at park close. We were stopped a few times for a few minutes but other than that the rides were great. One time when we were transferring at Caribbean Beach to Pop Century we had to get off and wait for a bus instead of continuing on. There was a problem. They really didn’t give us too much information but they got us to where we had to go.

Pros:

Quick, new, convenient

Cons:

Not 100% reliable, can get warm when you are stopped for a while.

The Skyliner was easy to load into and out of for someone with average mobility. Be aware that high winds will buffet the car which can be disarming, especially for anyone who doesn\\'t like heights to begin with.

Pros:

Swift, easy to use. Good breeze through the vented windows in the evening.

Cons:

Our car stopped twice, once for over 20 minutes. If you have to be somewhere and it's time sensitive, consider using alternate transport.

Used the Skyliner's four times on their very first week. For the most part they are quick (a lot faster than buses!), easy and fun. However both times we were changing lines at the CBR station the lines were terrible - 40 minutes and 25 minutes respectively. We were told me a castmember it was because one of his colleagues kept pressing the emergency stop button and causing the whole line to stop, which is alarming! When they are moving they are nice and cool, when they stop (we had a ten minute stop) they get a little sticky. They didn't feel overcrowded at all but thats because, due to the speed they move whilst loading, castmembers do not have a chance of getting ten people on them in time! The most crowded gondola we had had 8 people in it, but we also had one with just two of us, despite the big lines at the station.

Pros:

Fast

Cons:

Stopped working a lot!

I was just at Disney from 10/15-1022 and used the Skyliner several times. I loved it! The views were awesome, especially at night! We particularly loved the cars with the clear windows, it was easier to take pics and see out. Ventilation was just fine, we were never hot, and it was hot while we were there. It did stop a few times, never for long- this was to be expected. Longest we were stopped was less than 5 minutes most.

Pros:

Really easy and quick way to get from Epcot to Hollywood Studios, versus the bus.

Cons:

Not good for anyone with a fear of heights. Also, when there is a breeze, they do wiggle in the breeze. It did not bother me, but made my daughter a bit nervous.

Have been on two trips to WDW since the Skyliner gondolas opened. The first was the week they opened. Love it! They go faster than thought and really move a lot of people through. Great views during day and night. Harder to see through the wrapped cars. Air moves so not hot, but when car stops, it can get warm. You can't just ride and return to same spot. Must get off then back on. Didn't stop much first week. Left the day of the accident. Returned two weeks later, when back up and running. Seemed to stop more often, and also seemed to run slower at times. Great transportation addition. Should add more!

Pros:

Fast. Fun. Minimal wait times, if at all. Great views.

Cons:

Wish went to more resorts!

Fabulous and nothing to fear! I was really scared to ride the skyliner - fear of heights and cable cars but YOLO 🤣 boarded at Hollywood studios so easy to get on I was worried about it moving but it was fine. Changed at Caribbean beach and on to Epcot. Smooth and fast and no real sense of height. I loved it and can’t wait to ride again next year

Pros:

Fast, smooth and great views also not too hot

Cons:

We need more links to other resorts- goodbye Disney bus hello skyliner

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed riding high above Walt Disney World. We expecially enjoyed the views from each of the tracks.

Pros:

The gondolas are comfortable and relaxing. Getting on and off even with a scooter is quick and easy.

Cons:

We do not have anything as far as cons to say about this ride/means of transportation.
