Husband and I ate here on 1/29/18. This was one of our best meals at Disney ever. Food and service superb. From the wine selection, the fresh seafood, to the waiter you will be very happy. We will return.

Pros:

Amazing

Cons:

None

My daughter 2 granddaughters age 5 and 2 and grandson 9 went to the character meal in aug 2019 . The characters were brilliant but the service was beyond awful . I should have complained but when you are with 3 kids it’s not easy . We are DVc members since 2004 and come every Year for 2-4 weeks . We have done all the character dining (Topolinos breakfast by the way is amazing we did it in feb 2020) but I digress the problem was with my 26 month old granddaughter . The server completely ignored her . No food was offered as she sat there in her Snow White dress . Yes she should share ours and did , but she was not given any cutlery! no drink was offered ! We have never even not been offered a few fries for an infant . Many servers say “no child goes hungry “ and offer them a snack . Not even a plate was given for her , she could not understand why she had no spoon or plate !!! Even when the deserts came we had no plate for her to share ours on it was distressing . A totally awful thoughtless dining experience , I have wanted to review this for some time so took this opportunity .

Pros:

Characters

Cons:

Service and desert could be better it’s a bit weird

Our family love Artist Point. But on June 30, we had the worst meal we have ever had a Walt Disney World signature restaurant. No doubt the extensive refurb has something to do with the obviously fewer Cms in the resort, the comparative lack of guests but does this also explains the narrowing of the menu and the appalling service provided by the lady CM who plainly new little about the menu.
Such a disappointing experience.

Pros:

The paintings on the wall

Cons:

An obvious decline

“Over rated, not worth the two dining credits :(”

My party of 8 dined at Artists Point on March 19h at 6pm and our waiter was Martin. He was very nice and an excellent server as he spent time with us answering our questions. The restaurant is elegant and the noise level was never too loud.
I expected an out of the world meal but it was just average. The food was better and tastier at Harbor House in Magic Kingdom. I ordered the salmon. On the menu it is described as their signature dish. "Cedar Plank roasted Salmon with sweet potato mash, house smoked bacon, winter vegetables and apple cider gastrique" for $39. The salmon tasted like farmed Atlantic salmon, it had no taste. The sweet potato mash was about 2 tablespoons spread on the plate. There were 3 small brussel sprouts that were halved. They were dry and the tops were hard and inedible. There was 3 small broccoli florets that were over roasted and dry. The bacon consisted of one piece about 2 inches. For $39 I would expect a few more vegetable and more than one small piece of bacon. The root vegetables did not taste good and I did not eat them.See the attached picture that shows my description. I could have complained about the dish but I was hungry and didn't feel like causing a disruption. My daughter also ordered the salmon and barely touched the whole plate. I had the suggested wine that was paired with the salmon and that was the most memorable part of the meal.
For dessert I had the chocolate creme brûlée which was good but nothing memorable.
Artists Point was a disappointment. The service was excellent but the meal fell flat and I expected more from this restaurant

Pros:

Excellent service

Cons:

over priced, signature salmon dish was tasteless

Based on the reviews, my wife and I looked forward to our visit to Artist Point. The atmosphere was less than the "magical" experience you come to expect at Disney. While the server was very pleasant, we both found the food to be very disappointing. We felt that the taste of the food suffered due to the restaurants desire for an "over the top" presentation of the food. Having said all of this, this was the only disappointment of the entire trip.

Pros:

Friendly server

Cons:

Atmosphere, Overall Value

Both of us were most disappointed in Artist Point. We enjoy signature dining and had read many very positive reviews. However, we found the food mediocre at best. Our appetizers were rather up eventful-- my beets had three TINY pieces of beet although they were tasty. The entrees (pork and scallops) were fine but nothing special. Desserts were again plain (cobbler and creme brûlée) that could be found at many table service restaurants. We expect that signature dining should offer a special meal experience and Artist Point just did not offer anything that would justify signature dining to us.

Pros:

Ambiance

Cons:

Food was disappointing for a signature restaurant

We were seated within 5 minutes, even though we were told they were running 20 - 30 minutes behind. I read some negative reviews about the food, but it was much better than expected. Our server came to our table right away and took our orders and then we didn't see her again for a long time. People who came in after us and had the same server, got their food before us. We had a food allergy in our group, and her food came out much later than everyone else's. Instead of asking her what she would have liked for a substitution, the just gave her a very large end cut of meat that was too tough to eat. I saw videos where there was great interaction with the evil queen. All she did when it was our turn, was just stare at us. She didn't speak or acknowledge the kids. The other characters were great.

Pros:

Prime rib and gnocchi were delicious.

Cons:

Inattentive server. Poor character interaction with queen.

My husband and I had dined here a number of times since it opened, but had not been here for a couple of years. On this visit (November 2013), we had a nice dining experience - but one that did not reflect the outstanding experiences we had on previous visits.

We started by looking at the menu and wine list. We were surprised that the wine list did not include vintages for any of the wines. In the past, Artist Point had one of the most impressive lists of Oregon and Washington state wines that we've seen outside of the Pacific Northwest. Given that these wines routinely vary from one year to another, we requested vintage information. Our server said that the wines turned over so quickly that it wasn't feasible to provide this. (Note that other restaurants we visited on this trip - e.g. California Grill, Flying Fish, etc. do provide vintages on their wine lists.) Our server responded to our request to identify any of the Oregon Pinot Noirs that were from 2008 or 2009, by offering only one choice - a 2009 - which we accepted.

We ordered the mushroom soup and green salad to start - both were very good. For entrees we chose the chicken and the scallops. The chicken was OK, but the sauce with it was overwhelming. The scallops over risotto were delicious.

Overall, our meal was good, but not as great as we had expected based on previous visits. For the price, there are other restaurants at WDW that we prefer.

Pros:

Pretty setting; good food

Cons:

Wine list without vintages

Great character experience, and food was good

Pros:

Characters, and the presentation, good food, and Evil Queen is worth price of admission.

Cons:

It's a long meal, but excitement of characters should keep kids ok with that.

Very cute if you like Snow White, Dopey, Grumpy, and the Evil Queen. A three course meal my boyfriend and I ate in one hour! I enjoyed my meal - "a stroll thru nature" - but he got the pork the waitress recommended and it was like a mouthful of salt. Because of his food quality he doesn't wish to come back but it was good to experience. We had dinner here Tuesday 12/03/19. Deluxe dining plan for two adults $144.84.

Pros:

Not a lengthy meal, unique characters and atmosphere

Cons:

Very expensive if not on dining plan, not easy to get a reservation, pork was a mouthful of salt, don't care for appetizers here
