Pros: Food and view!
Cons: Hostess was a little rude

I have always shyed away from this restaurant because I found the menu to be a bit "boring". However, during our last trip to the Magic Kingdom we were looking for a light meal and I'm so glad we decided to give this a try!

We got seated at a table right by the window looking out over to Cinderella's castle which was wonderful. I server was very sweet and accomodated all our special request (no cheese, extra cheese etc) with a smile.

The cheese steak was really good as was the vegetarian sandwich. I thought the fries were really good and the homemade chips were great!

We were too full for dessert but one of the kids got strawberry ice cream which I tasted and it was very good quality.

The prices were very reasonable, the portions were good and I'd pick this over a quick service any day!

Pros: great food, nice sit down & small, great view of castle
Cons: sometimes loud, but not overwhelming

Though I said it's sometimes loud, that's only because it is a smaller venue and you need a reservation. We love this place and it's always a great option if we need to rest our legs and take in a good meal. Though the menu is smaller, it has plenty of choices and I would recommend any of the sandwiches and add on the tomato basil soup, it is some of the best I've had! Great options for kids as well.

Pros: View of the castle, location
Cons: rushed service, limited menu

We had dinner here on Wednesday, April 10th. Ordered club sandwiches and the tuna on croissant with homemade chips. The club sandwiches were very tasty, with perfectly toasted bread. The tuna salad left much to be desired, being very dry and bland. With some additional mayo and salt, it was ok. The chips are probably usually very good but the night we had them, they were cold, stiff and a bit stale. Server was obviously very busy, not much time for pleasantry but food came out timely and correct. We had a table with a very nice view of the castle, which added much magic to our meal. We will definitely visit this quaint spot again.

Pros: Service and portion size
Cons: Gets crowded

We ate at the Plaza Restaurant for lunch on 4/1/13 at noon. Our advanced dining reservations were for noon and we checked in at 11:50 and had to wait for about 15 minutes (remember this is spring break and WDW is crowed!). I have a severe allergy to certain tree nuts and the chef came out to speak to me about my allergy. She provided me with a very detailed ingredient list of ALL of their food. It filled a two inch binder. After looking over the menu and the ingredient list, I decided to get the cheese steak sandwich without the red peppers and onions. My wife had the Rueben sandwich and my daughter the cheeseburger. We all enjoyed our meals. The fries were excellent and my sandwich was very good. We would return in the future.

Pros: location
Cons: pricey, food just ok

We ate here for dinner on 4/5/13 with an ADR for dinner. It was our first time and I think expected too much. This is quite small inside. The selection is also very small. None of us were all that thrilled with the food. Servers were nice enough and we were happy to have our own table away from the busyness of the park, but would try someplace else next time. We were also disappointed that the menu does not include the ice cream treats from the Plaza ice cream shop next door. There is ice cream, yes, but not what we wanted. We did visit the ice cream shop later and loved loved loved that!!

Pros:
Cons:

We had heard good things about the Plaza and have been meaning to try it for some time, but never did. This year we had lunch there and loved it. We had to wait quite a while to be seated even though we had an ADR. We waited at an outside table, so we had a lovely view of the castle and the day was nice and sunny. After being seated on the enclosed porch area to eat, our server came immediately. She was great. I had the reuben sandwich with broccoli slaw (delicious) and Hubby had the club with fries. His was good too. For dessert Hubby had a hot fudge sundae and I had a brownie sundae. We were surprised that these were included on the dining plan. They were huge. My brownie was as hard as a rock. I had end pieces of the brownie so that's probably why. It was still good and way too much for me to finish. We will return here again if using the dining plan, but not if paying out of pocket. The prices are pretty expensive for sandwiches.

Pros: Quick serve food without the crowds
Cons:

Made a reservation one day before. It was a last minute trip. We didn't want a big meal but really hate the thought of two counter service restaurants in one day. This is a cheap Table Service so not the best buy for those on dining plan.
ADR for 7:15. We almost didn't make it due to Electric parade and street being shut off. It was crowded outside the restaurant because of parade nd wishes.
We were seated near the kitchen (as we were in Sept). Our server was friendly. She checked on us and brought extra condiments without asking. But when it came to check time, it took about 15 mins. Not sure if Tables in Wonderland threw her off or if she was just getting ready to close.
I got the strawberry chicken salad. Although it was good, it wasn't worth the hype and I wouldn't get it again.

Pros: still trying to think of one
Cons: most things

Somebody has to sit near the kitchen and endlessly swinging doors, and this time it was us. My daughter got to look out toward park, but my view was into the kitchen. Although, she was the one I thought would get hit by the swinging door or a server coming out of the kitchen. For a small restaurant it is quite loud..nothing in decor to dampen noise. Daughter liked her tuna sandwich and fries were good. I went with the server's "favorite" strawberry salad. For the price ($14.99) there was hardly any chicken or gorgonzola. The dressing was tasteless. I would have told this to our waitress but she never came back while we were eating. We ordered plaza sundaes. I'm not sure there was enough hot fudge on mine to fill a spoon. It appears as though there is fudge, but it is just a light coating on the glass dish. The whole time I was here I kept wishing I was eating lunch again at Be Our Guest.

Pros: good food
Cons: not much of a variety

This is a good place to go (if you can get in)if your tired of the nuggets, pizza, burgers and fries. It looks like it used to be an ice cream parlor. The food was good but not much of a variety. We didn't have reservations but were able to get in with a 20 minute wait. It seats about 60-100 people. Even the mayor of Main street dropped in.

Pros: Tasty food, great milkshakes, not big or crowded, castle view!
Cons:

We ate here for my husband's birthday dinner with family, and we all had good meals. I had the cheese steak and my husband the reuben. Other family members had meatloaf, the chicken-strawberry salad and the grilled chicken sandwich. No complaints anywhere. I love the broccoli slaw here, and they make such good milkshakes. My husband's uncle had a special food request for a low-sodium diet, and the chef here was the best at any Disney restaurant in going over things, giving him options, checking in, etc. They brought my husband a birthday cupcake, and we had a great view of Cinderella's castle during the Castle Dreamlights show. The Plaza is one of our "old reliables"!

Pros: Fantastic service in an elegant setting
Cons: None

This was one of the highlights of the trip! I can’t say enough about the great service – and without a reservation. Mona, the hostess, saw that my elderly mother was in pain, and she made sure we got the table closest to the door – which just so happened to be right by a large window with an incredible view of the castle. She then congratulated my parents on their anniversary (they had on the celebration buttons) and made a point of saying they must be happy because my mother was so beautiful! Veronica, the chef, came out to discuss my dietary restrictions, made me feel like an honored long-lost granddaughter as she made me a fantastic veggie burger, and then a strawberry sundae with Tofutti ice cream – I could not stop eating it! I was told they have both chocolate and vanilla Tofutti, as well as Rice Dream. I was also impressed with their tea selection, which was definitely a cut above. The best part was when we realized we could get just a glimpse of the electrical parade from our seats, and we were able to watch all of Wishes. (They did not pipe in the music, but we didn’t mind.) This small, elegant restaurant is one of the best parts of Magic Kingdom, and the bill was about $50 for all three of us – a bargain for what we got.

Pros: Nice looking place.
Cons: Over priced sandwich shop.

Mostly sandwiches on the menu. I had meatloaf, the only real dinner. It was very plain without any goodies, although it did taste like quality ground beef. No bread served. My wife had a salad which was good. Service was OK.

Pros: Chef Ken, Atmosphere, Food
Cons: None

This is our first trip to Disney with a child with serious food allergies. Although we were 20 minutes late for our lunch reservation, we were seated within 10 minutes - on a VERY busy day at the park (11/20). Disney overall does a very good job accommodating people with food allergies, but I have to say that Chef Ken goes above and beyond! Chef Ken was at our table before our server was. He sat with my younger daughter and went over the menu with her to explain what she could and couldn't have and then assured us he would open new ice cream containers (to avoid cross contamination) for her ice cream sundae dessert. Chef Ken was so wonderful and personable I would dine here again even if our food wasn't great! He checked on us several times during our meal. My older daughter had the kid's cheesburger and finished it very quickly. Chef Ken noticed and brought her out a second burger free of charge. My husband had the tuna sandwich and I had the Cheeseburger and broccoli slaw. I was a little wary of trying the slaw but I really liked it a lot! We look forward to going to The Plaza on our next trip (hopefully soon).

Pros:
Cons: small, loud, bland food

My husband and I recently dined at the Plaza and were hoping for a good experience. I'd heard good things about the food. We did not experience this however. It wasn't horrible, it just wasn't very good. It was bland and screamed for seasoning. My fries were pretty good. The desserts were HUGE and those weren't bad. The other negative about this restaurant is the size and acoustics. By that I mean a lot of people, including screeching babies and yelling children, in a very small space makes for an incredibly noisy environment. It was so loud at times that I just wanted to get up and leave. I also noticed that the interior was kind of shabby, the floors seemed a bit worn and overall there wasn't a lot to be excited about. I wasn't impressed. The Plaza desperately needs a refurbishment. We won't likely return.
