Pros: Food and Service - We able to seat us early
Cons: Mac n Cheese

We've eaten here for lunch 3 times before, so this was our first time for dinner. We arrived a hour before our ADR and were told it would be 30 minutes before we could be seated. Our pager went off 10 minutes later and we were seated. We enjoyed the meats, stuffing, veggies and apple pie with ice cream. Very good food and we enjoyed the Thanksgiving food variety. We aren't character people, so we didn't miss them at all.

Pros: Food, atmosphere
Cons: NOTHING!

Last time we ate here, it was character dining. Kinda sad that is no longer the case, but still a GREAT restaurant to eat at! ADR at 6:15pm on 10-23. Arrived 15 minutes early and waited 5 minutes to get seated! Food was AWESOME like always! We are big fans of Thanksgiving types of meals, so this was perfect! Our waiter was probably the best one we had the whole trip! It was my birthday and he made the whole dinner very special for me! Also, very attentitive to our needs and refilled everything before we even asked! We loved the mugs that our drinks came in, so as we left, we purchased a few so we could take back the "memories." This is resaurant is a must for us each trip!

Pros: Hearty Meal
Cons: Slow service

We have ate here before when this was a character dining and loved it, this time, we were very disappointed. Our dining time was at 8:10pm. We arrived at 7:45 and was seated at 8:20. We were a party of 2 adults and were seated way in the back squished into a small area and hidden away. I think our waiter must have forgotten about us a couple of times because service was very slow and refills on drinks were rare. The food is still the same as before and decent but I hesitate to go back because of the service.

Pros: excellent food
Cons: bathroom upstairs and small

The Thanksgiving type food is excellent and wait staff good. Tables are close together and it gets noisy. I was surprised to go upstairs to the bathroom and it was small. For people with mobility issues, this is a downside and you may not be able to go.

Pros: Food
Cons: Service

DH and I ate here on 9/25 before MNSSHP. We originally had an ADR for the 2 of us for 515, but they were able to fit us in with my husbands family at their 535 ADR. My MIL has several severe food allergies and had to speak to the Chef before any food could be brought to our table. I understand and appreciate this, but 2 hungry kids (ages 2 and 6) don't understand why the waiter took the bread basket away from them. Our server was the same gentleman who my In-Laws had last year and from what they said, he had not improved. Once the Chef had left, we were able to start eating. We all enjoyed the food. My MIL was brought out a specially prepared salad and a small plate of meats just for her. The meal was good and we were glad we were able to all be together. I am not sure if our server had too many tables or what, but drink glasses went empty for over 10 minutes. We were fixing to ask for a manager when our server brought out a tray full of drinks with melted ice to us.
My two pet peeves when I am dining out are my drink glass going empty and getting the check before the meal is finished or almost finished. Our server brought out our checks before he brought out the dessert. It is aggravating to have someone wait and expect you to interrupt your meal so they can "settle up your check for you". Please wait until I have at least gotten to eat something for dessert.
Eating at Liberty Tree Tavern before MNSSHP has been a tradition for DH and I since our first trip to WDW together. This is the second time our service has not been very good. It saddens me to think we might not come back, but I really don't think we will do this one again anytime soon.

Pros: Ample and delicious food, great service.
Cons: None

The service at the Liberty Tree was delightful. I had started to overheat before we got to the restaurant and our server was kind enough to bring me TWO mugs of icewater immediately, in addition to the soft drink that comes with the meal.

While the turkey and ham were tasty, we were particularly impressed by the quality of the roast beef, which was quite tender, juicy and flavorful.

Pros: Fast service
Cons: Macaroni and cheese was old

My husband and I ate an early dinner here on 10/8. Our server was excellent and efficient, but the food was a little bit lacking. The salad had obviously been sitting in the dressing for a while, making it a bit soggy. The bread and honey butter were very tasty, and we enjoying the meat, stuffing and mashed potatoes, but the gravy had a skin on it and the macaroni and cheese (the main reason for eating there as that is my husband's favorite) looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp. Kudos to our server for a job well done, but I don't think we'll be back.

Pros:
Cons:

We always dine here on the last night of our trip to Disney. The food is good and plentiful and the service is attentive. I did not miss having a character dining experience since we did not have children with us this time.

Pros: good food/service, huge portions (all you can eat)
Cons: ham was dry & mac n cheese was gross, handicap accessible?

This is the first time we tried Liberty Tree. We didn't expect much and we were pleasantly surprised. Served family style you have many choices of meat and sides. Beef and turkey were great, the ham was VERY dry. Mac n Cheese was not good (my son liked it, but the adults all thought it was awful). Mashed potatoes and gravy were good. And the best part of all...Apple Cobbler ala mode, save room this if phenomenal!

One issue was the stairs inside. My son has a wheelchair and they didn't offer us an elevator so I assume there isn't one. Luckily he is mobile and was able to walk up the 3-4 stairs to the table. Something you should ask about if you have someone that is not able to walk up stairs.

Pros:
Cons:

Ate here on August 24th for dinner. We had a party of 11 and were given 2 tables in a corner, which was awesome because we could let the kids run around while we were waiting for our bill without bothering anyone else. The food was ok. I thought everything had a funny taste to it but everyone else loved it. Overall we had a good time. However I don't think we'll go back in the future.

Pros: Food
Cons: Long wait for waitress

The food was good, its served family style. For refills of anything just ask. The mac and cheese wasn't that good, real runny, would have preferred baked mac and cheese.

Pros: food is good & plentiful - Thanksgiving Feast
Cons: Only 1 bathroom upstairs

We ate here on Tues, Sept 1, 2009. We were seated right away & our server couldn't have been more attentive. The food was the great comfort food you would expect for Thanksgiving Dinner. Loved the turkey/gravy & mashed potatoes - all very good. The dessert was really good also. I would recommend this restaurant.

Pros: none
Cons: food, service

We had dinner here on 8/18. My family had been to Liberty Tree Tavern once before, but it was about 8 years ago. This time we waited about 30 minutes past our ADR (but with the free dining plan, this was not unusual). However once we were seated, the service was extremely slow. When we did finally have dinner, the food was bland and tasteless. Our next trip we will be going back to Tony's while we are at the Magic Kingdom.

Pros: food, server
Cons: always very busy

We had dinner here on 8/25/09. We have been to Liberty Tree at least 4 or 5 times and we were prepared to sit and wait well after our 6:30 ADR even after checking in a few minutes after 6:00. To our pleasant surprise we were seated within 10 minutes.

The food as always was terrific. The roast beef, turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and green beans are excellent. Even the mac and cheese is good. The only negative was that the ham was a little dry. Big deal really! The rest of the food was so good it's seems silly to complain about the ham.

Our service was very, very good. Darwin, our waiter, had a table of 10 with several younger kids right next to us that kept him on his toes. But he kept our drinks full and we never felt like we weren't getting top notch service.

Liberty Tree is always very, very busy. I agree with other postings that the bathrooms are too small for this restaurant but we know that going in and try to "plan ahead". Simply put, go before or wait until after you leave!

We left full and happy - this was one of the best meals of our trip.

Pros: Nice location, flank steak
Cons: Mac and cheese, dessert

I loved the flank steak. I could have eaten a lot more of that.

The Mac and cheese was pretty bad. The dessert was not tasty. The service ok.

I think they got rid of the characters because someone in the waiting area saw Mickey in the dining room and Mickey in the parade at the same time.

I think I'll stick to quick food in the MK, and hit one of the monorail resorts for a sitdown dinner.
