Pros: Food, Service
Cons: none

Tried House Of Blues for the first time our last visit March 2013.

Atmosphere was excellent,

Sat at outside bar (with entertainment) while we waited for our table to be ready.

Waiter was attentive and overall, the service was excellent. Spouse had chicken (enormous serving size)which was very tasty, Ribs were also very good.

Entire party agreed this will become a must do our next trip back. The entire experience from start to finish was wonderful.

Pros: EVERYTHING!
Cons: nothing

Had the oppotunity to stop by for lunch during Mardi Gras week. As always, everything sublime -- in honor of MG ordered off the special cocktail menu -- an absinthe hurricane.... oh my! extremely delicious!! strayed from my usual favority of Voodoo Shrimp to try the fried chicken -- so delicious (and huge!), some totally decadent potatoes with bacon, cheese, and other delicious things-- key lime pie for dessert. Waiter was so lovely, I wanted to take him home with me (regretfully didn't get his name). Left (actually waddled) out of there a very happy girl!! thanks again HOB!

Pros: Great brunch and entertainment.
Cons: Not much of anything

We have wanted to do the Gospel Sunday Brunch for quite some time. We travel from upstate New York every year with our friends for our annual Disney Christmas vacation. This year we were in luck and would be at Disney on December 30th, 2012. When we arrived it was a cold day for the Orlando area. We were allowed to wait inside for the show to start. When we were allowed in the brunch was ready and we were seated in the pit (we requested this area). The food was great and the show was even better. The buffet was massive and all the food was hot and good. If you want to check out the menu just look at the House of Blues Orlando web. The entertainment was just fantastic, we had a preacher that kept the theme up-beat and fun. If you are looking for a change of pace from the parks, I highly recommend this show.

Pros: Availability on New Year's Eve
Cons: No live music

Ate here on New Years Eve and expected it to be packed--not so. The best thing we ordered was the cornbread. My husband had the shrimp and grits, which were very spicy, I had the chicken quesadilla (which had more mushrooms than chicken) and found it tastless. One son had the short ribs (tough) and my other son had the pork sliders which were pretty tastless. We expected at the very least having blues music playing, and would have loved a live blues magician...especially on new year's--we got neither. I felt like we were sitting in a Chili's chain restaurant. We really wanted to like this restaurant but won't return.

Pros: Service was amazing
Cons: varied

We ate here on 12/5/12 for lunch. Our server was fantastic! We had a party of 8 and most enjoyed their meals. I was told that the lobster mac and cheese was amazing and the ribs were incredible. Wish I ordered one of those. I had the steak which had no flavor and was very tough. The desserts were very good and everyone enjoyed them! I definately love the atmosphere of the place and will return again, I will just order the ribs or lobster mac and cheese!

Pros: Everything!
Cons: nothing

A friend and I were at Disney during the Art Festival and ate at HOB on Saturday night. What a lovely experience! My friend rated it the most enjoyable meal all week. Seated in the back room which, while lively, was not too noisy. My friend asked for a special vodka (not listed on the menu) and our fantastic waiter was able to provide it. I had the Voodoo Shrimp -- delish! and my friend had the Shrimp and Grits -- also highly rated. Thank you HOB for a fun and delicious meal!

Pros: Breakfast and a show, soul food buffet
Cons: slow moving line

my kids loved the music during breakfast. The food was good. It isn't often you get a soul food buffet.

Pros: good food, good service
Cons:

I celebrated my birthday here last week, and for the most part really enjoyed it. I was looking forward to the new menu and the prices seemed more reasonable than some other table services.
We started with the Voodoo shrimp, which was really good and served on top of their cornbread. I had the Buttermilk Fried Chicken which was 1/2 of a chicken and it had a delicious crust. The only problem was the crust was so crunchy it came of of the chicken in one big piece and you were left with crust and then all the "naked" chicken. It was tasty though. DH had Shrimp and Grits which he liked. We decided if we return it will be for lunch, and we will split the cornbread and the lobster mac and cheese which we came close to ordering this time. Service was fine and all in all, a nice evening.

Pros: atmosphere
Cons: menu change, mojitos

Very disappointed with the new menu at HOB. This restaurant used to be a staple every time we visited WDW or Atlantic City, not anymore. Love Aaron Sanchez on Food Network but his changes to the menu leave much to be desired. The rosemary cornbread used to be divine now it's jalapeno cornbread with some kind of Mexican cheese in it. It's edible but not nearly as good as before. Additionally, both my husband and I ordered Mojitos which were terrible, so much so my husband sent his back. HOB used to be a Southern Cajun kind of place, Aaron has added a Mexican flair to it which in our opinion has done nothing for it. I'm afraid we won't be returning.

Pros: Great atmospher, great food
Cons: Was forgotten about

OK, we had a reservation at 7pm, we told the front desk we had arrived, as they were running late we were told to get a drink as it would be 10 - 15 minutes, 30 minutes passed by and we had to remind them.
Once seated the service picked up and we both had the New York strip which is highly recommended, only reason we gave it a 9 was because of the confusion over our reservation ...

Pros: Atmosphere, Dessert was fantastic
Cons: Very lackluster food, no chef interaction for allergies

After reading some rave reviews online, I decided the HOB was a must-do for our trip. I was most excited for this place and really let down.

Despite the 180-days in advance reservation, we had to wait for several groups to go through before us (some of which didn't appear to have a reservation) - somewhat frustrating.

I went with the Jambalaya - which is supposed to be one of their specialties. I was hugely let down. First of all, it's made with risotto (which I normally love). The dish was not spicy at all, only warm (temperature-wise) and very mushy. The whole thing tasted like it was out of a can. I only finished about a third. My girlfriend said her three cheese rigatoni was also very lackluster and had too much garlic and hardly any sauce.

Dessert wise, we were pleasantly surprised after the let-down of our entrees. The Bourbon bread pudding (which I was shocked to be allergy friendly) was so fantastic - I would go simply for the dessert. I cant stress how awesome this dessert was - you're crazy if you don't try it.

My girlfriend went with the triple chocolate cheesecake (but opted to take it home) and unfortunately never got around to trying it. It came with fresh berries and looked very very good.

For our meal: we won't return. But if we are hankering for some late night dessert, that bread pudding will certainly be one of my top choices.

Pros: Atmosphere, Service, Food
Cons: Iced Tea Mix

Enjoyed our lunch here. We had 1:30 lunch reservations on a Tuesday in early August, but didn't really need them -- the restaurant was nearly empty. Were seated immediately & our waitress provided very good service. We ordered Street Tacos for an appetizer, my DH ordered a Classic Club sandwich, I ordered the Southwestern Chicken sandwich, & we both ordered iced tea. The Street Tacos were delicious, but so spicy we couldn't eat much of them -- our mouths were on fire! (The menu did not indicate the spiciness & the waitress did not warn us when we ordered, but, then again, we didn't ask.) Both sandwiches were just incredibly good. Only complaint here was the tea. Always irritates us to be eating in a nice, table service restaurant and get served instant iced tea mix instead of brewed tea. Just a personal thing, but we had to send the tea back & order soft drinks. This did not ruin our lunch, by any means. We'll definitely return someday!

Pros: Food
Cons:

Loved the food!! Went two days in a row because we enjoyed it so much. The turkey burger was wonderfully spicy and the jalapeno cornbread is yummy and sweet. We did not need reservations either evening and waited less than 15 minutes.

Pros: Great atmosphere with lots to look at
Cons:

Our family of 4 on the dining plan ate here first on our week long vacation. We were not familiar with the dining plan since this was our first time at Disney and the waiter took the time to explain it to us. This was the best sit down meal we had all week. The waiter was personable, the atmosphere was great and the music was right up our alley! The food was excellent. We all had something different, shrimp & grits, steak & chicken and it was all good. We were stuffed but still managed dessert and it was also awesome. Will eat here again!!

Pros: Food and waiter
Cons: none

We ate here on 6/8. Walked right in around 6:30 and got a table right away. John our server was great we asked him to take a picture of us and he said he would take two. The first one was perfect and when he counted to 3 on the second one he turned the camera on himself. To us it was very funny!

My wife had a flatbread that was very good. I had the shrimp and grits and loved it. Both were really good. My wife would save her crust to dip it in my sauce. I really recommend the House of Blues and the food.
