What Is Your “FastPass” Strategy?

Getting FastPasses for the most popular attractions can save you and your family lots of time. That means rather than standing in line for an hour or so you can be using that time to do other things and enjoy more of the park. So, what’s your strategy for getting FastPasses? What’s the first and second FastPass you get in each of the parks? Also, do you have any FastPass secrets or tips that you’d like to pass along?

When my wife and I go to any of the parks with family or friends we always have a plan as to what attractions are on our “must do” list that day as well as where we’re going to eat. So, when we enter any of the parks I usually collect everyones tickets and head to get FastPasses for one of the attractions. The others in the group then head for the second attraction on our list and get in line. The FastPass shows the time when you can get another FastPass. So, when that time comes, we’ll get another FastPass.

My “FastPass Strategy

1) The first thing I do when I enter the Animal Kingdom is to head for Kilimanjaro Safari and get a FastPass. Then it’s off to get into line for the first show of Nemo The Musical.
2) Like many others, FastPasses for Soarin’ is a must to get early. From there we’ll usually ride Mission Space as the lines aren’t that bad and when the time comes that we can get a second FastPass we get one for Test Track.
3) In Hollywood Studios we head right for Toy Story Mania. Since we don’t do roller coasters that’s usually the only FastPass we get in that park.
4) Again, because we’re not the thrill ride type, there isn’t anything special we do when we enter the Magic Kingdom. If it’s super busy we may get a FastPass for Mickey’s PhilharMagic.

OK, I’ve told you mine, now it’s your turn to let me know what your FastPass strategy is.

You could win an AllEars® baseball cap. In the coming weeks I will blog on more “favorite” things to do in Walt Disney World. Also, let me know if you have any suggestions as to other things you would like to see “top lists” of. I’m open to any and all suggestions. So far readers have suggested I blog on Magical Moments and Favorite Disney snacks, deserts and characters. Great ideas! What do you think? Based on the number of comments, I think you all agree that these are fun to do.

And the winner is: the winner of the AllEars® baseball cap for commenting on my “What’s The First Thing You Do When You Arrive In WDW?” blog is: Lori Payne from Virginia. Congratulations to Lori and “thank you” to everyone who took the time to share their “What’s The First Thing You Do When You Arrive In WDW?” and all the loyal AlllEars® readers!

I also want to comment on last weeks blog: Not surprisingly the most popular thing to do was sample food from the various food kiosks. Sampling wine, listening to the concerts and people watching were favorites of others.

Did you know AllEars® has a huge area called Rate and Review where you can share your dining reviews with fellow readers? Check it out!

  1. My FastPass Strategy

1)MK-Fast Pass to Space Mt and either Splash Mt or Big Thunder
    2)EPCOT- Soaring and Test track
    3)DS-Rockin Roller Coaster, Toy Story
    4)AK-Expedition Everst and Kali

    Your comments:
In the past we have not really knocked ourselves out in the Magic Kingdom as we wait for the evening Magic Hours and ride almost line free. If we must FP we do at least Space Mt (my brother’s and my favorite ride)
At Animal Kingdom someone gets FP’s at Everest while the rest of us wait @ Kilamanjaro. We then get Kali River passes for later, and do the rest of the park. At Disney Studios we get FP for TOy Story, then for Rockin Rollercoaster and wait on line for TOT.
At EPCOT Soarin’ is our first stop followed by Test track and then Mission Space we wait in line for. The order changes depending on the crowds. If you are REALLY LUCKY, the FP machine won’t work, you get one from a Cast Member and then you can immediatley get another one for a different ride (the first FP is not recorded on your card)
It all sounds like a lot of work, but it is worth it in the end!(the thrill of the chase, if you will)

  2. My FastPass Strategy

    1) Dinosaur and Everest. Two of my family members love Everest and two of us love Dinosaur. We both get a fast pass to use later and ride once immediately.
    2) Test Track, then Soarin
    3) Toy Story Mania (with the rest of the world)
    4) Splash Mountain

Your comments: Sometimes we base our decisions on what ride has the worse line. I hate waiting in the standby line for Splash Mountain, but Space Mountain isn’t so bad. We also avoid going to the most popular ride’s fastpass line first (like Soarin) because it becomes pretty calm after the initial morning rush. This only works if you are going to be at that park either all day or into the afternoon.

  3. My FastPass Strategy

1)AK-Head for Expedition Everest, grab a FP then ride standby. Next we head to Dinosaur. Rarely have we needed a FP for Kilimanjaro.
2)DHS-Obviously, the first stop is Toy Story Mania. If we get there early enough, we’ll ride standby while we wait for our FP time. Then it’s off to RnR, grab a FP then ride standby on ToT.
3)Epcot- My son heads for Soarin’ for FP while we get in line for Spaceship Earth. Then it’s over to TestTrack. We might do singles line if we need “a fix” before our return time!
4)MK- Space Mountain and/or Buzz Lightyear depending on the crowds. Then we wander over to Splash & Big Thunder Mountains.

Your comments: I don’t really have any tips. Like everyone else, we have 1 family member grab the FPs while the rest of us get in a line (almost doesn’t matter which line!!). It used to be me but now that my son is grown, he gets the honor! The other thing we do is check the times. If the FP return time falls around the same time as waiting in stand-by, we’ll get a FP, then do something else. On our most recent trip, we did that for Kilimanjaro. We ate ice cream while watching the dancers outside Tusker House. Lot more fun than standing in line!

  4. AK – My wife and I are big nature lovers, so getting on Kilimanjaro first thing is a high priority for us. At rope drop, we split up: I run (or walk fast around CM’s) to Everest for FP, while she does the same to Kilimanjaro and gets in line. Then, I hightail it to join her.

Epcot – Soarin’. Like everyone else. The only variation is deciding whether to have one person get FP while the other waits in line and then join them OR get the FP and go to a different attraction – Livin, Nemo, or Imagination.

MK – Typically, we split up at rope drop (catch a pattern here) and I head to Space for FP while she goes to Fantasyland. I join her and we do all of the rides/shows at least once. Afterward, we head back to Space to use FP, getting a FP for Buzz along the way.

Studios – Toy Story. Again, either ride twice – once standby and once FP or get a FP and head over the Rockin and Tower.

On another note, I’d love to see an article that rates FP queue lines. Not all are created equal. Some (Everest, Jungle Cruise, Soarin’) dump you practically onto the ride when you get to the front of the FP line. Others (Buzz and Space) join the standby line for an additional queue well before the ride itself.

  5. 1) MK — Kids first choice Splash Mountain followed by Space Mountian
    2) DHS — RocknRoller Coaster followed by Toy Story Mania or Tower of Terror
    3) AK — Everest Expedition followed Kilimanjaro Safari
    4) Epcot — Soarin

There are also times when there is no need for a FastPass. If you are staying on property you cannot beat the extended evening hours in the summer. We get to ride all attractions over and over again with minimal waits. The kids and I have been on Splash Mountain at 1:30 AM and were the only three in our log (wife thinks we are crazy and waits in the gift shop). At DHS we have alternated between TOT and RR Coaster with maybe at most a 5 min wait for RRC. My son and I have had an elevator to ourselves at Tower of Terror. The actual ride time for Everest Expedition is longer than the wait time the last 30-45 mins AK is open. I know there are many of you out there like us that get off the rides and get right back in line.

  6. My FastPass Strategy

    1) DHS – Toy Story, then ride Tower of Terror, and Rock and Roller Coaster, get FPs for Roller Coaster
    2) AK, I only get FP for Expedition Everest, then usually go thru single rider lane to add an additional ride or 2. I never get FPs for Kilamanjaro as I don’t want to traispe all the way to that side of the park multiple times. The line usually moves quickly enough.
    3) Epcot – Soarin of course, although I always get a little disappointed I don’t get to see the interactivity in the regular line I’ve heard so much about. And also Norway. Single rider line for Test track works for us.
    4) MK – Depends on time of year. Sometimes Buzz Lightyear, sometimes Space Mountain. Mostly we check the boards, see what has a long wait time and get a FP for that.

  7. Since we have a child under 40 inches, we will all present ourselves at Test Track at Epcot and get a rider switch pass for the adult that waits with the youngest. Then while the rest are on Test Track, the youngest and I will go to Soarin and get FP’s. Then I will ride Test Track with the rider switch pass (and can take older kids with me for their 2nd ride). While older people are on a ride that the youngest can’t ride, the other one of us takes him on something just for him. Then we switch off. There are also play areas after certain bigger rides (like Splash Mountain and Mission Space) that are fun for younger children.
I am sure our FastPass strategy will change as all of our children grow up.

  8. My FastPass Strategy

    1) Toy Story Mania–can’t ride without waiting at least an hour without it even during slower times!
    2) Soarin’ (another one that you can’t get on without at least an hour wait without fast pass)
    3) Expedition Everest (I get one and then go on the ride first thing–that way, I know I’ll get 2 rides)
    4) Tower of Terror (ditto from EE above)

    Your comments:

I wonder if Disney will ever implement what Universal has–line for those staying on-site. I know–there are many more Disney properties than Universal, but, as I’m getting older, it’s difficult to run to any of the above in hopes of scoring a fast pass. And at Epcot, since the lands are so far away, I sometimes find that by the time my Soarin’ ticket time rolls around, I’m somewhere in the midst of the countries and am just too tired to make that long treck back to use the fast pass.

  9. My FastPass Strategy

1)Magic Kingdom if I have vistors from out of town, we get there at park opening. We head straight to Jungle Cruise and get a fast pass, then we ride Thunder, then splash, then pirates and by that time Jungle cruise pass is ready. All within an hour.

2)Epcot, at rope drop. I will go get a fast pass for soarn then get in line and ride it, then a small wait and ride it again. Test track I will ride the single rider line.

3)Studios, I will get a FB for Toy Story at opening, then go ride Rockin Roller Coaster or Tower.

    4) Animal kingdom at opening I will get a FB for Everest, then get in line and ride it.

  10. My FastPass Strategy

1)DHS – send my oldest through the crowd as soon as they let you get past the rope, grab the FB for us all while we go to Tower of Terror and get on line.
2)AK- One of us head for Everest with tickets. get FB and then we all meet up at Dinosaur.
3)MK- Head right to Space Mountain get FP, then go to Splash Mountain & Thunderbolt RR
4)EPCOT- Send the oldest for Soaring, then she meets us at Test Track, do that and then Mission Space
Your comments: SO much easier send one person with all tickets to get FP. They can get through the crowd faster than a group…..

  11. Mike,
Here’s a suggestion for one of your “top lists”. The song most likely to get stuck in your head from a Disney World attraction, ride or show.

This could be fun! Can’t wait to see the results.

DizneyMike replies: Pat, thanks for the suggestion….Mike

  12. One of the best things I learned about Fastpass… you can still use your Fastpass after the timeframe has passed on your ticket. This way you are not constricted to getting to that ride in that one hour timeframe if you can’t get there.

    My FastPass Strategy

1)Magic Kingdom – head to Space Mountain, get a FP and then get on line for the ride. Then work your way over to the other mountains and get FP’s for them.
2)Hollywood Studios – get FP’s for Toy Story Mania for everyone in our party while others in party get on line then join them! Then head to Rockin Roller Coaster for FP and then get on line for Tower of Terror.
3)Animal Kingdom – Get FP’s for Expedition Everest then get on single rider line. Then get FP’s for Safari
4)EPCOT – Get FP’s for Soarin’ and get on standby line. Have a bite to eat. Then head over to Test Track and get FP’s there. Then head to World Showcase when it opens and take all that in. Then we have FP’s to use on Soarin’ and Test Track later on in the day!

    Your comments:

  13. 1: MK – Splash Mountain
2: EP – Soarin’ and Test Track
3: DH – Tower of Terror…haven’t been to DH since TSM has been built
4: AK – Going there this Dec. for the first time.

  14. 1. Magic Kingdom–We usually don’t “rush” for any fast passes here. We get them as needed for Big Thunder, but sometimes we luck out and don’t need them. Other fast passes that we look for are Buzz Lightyear and Winnie the Pooh.
    2. Epcot–We head first for the digital time board behind spaceship earth. Whichever of Test Track and Soarin’ have the shortest lines, we head for first, with one of us heading to the other ride for fast passes for the group.
    3. Animal Kingdom–First thing is always Everest, and we’ll ride as many times as we’re able between stand-by, fast pass, and single rider. Next we’ll head to the Safari.
    4. Hollywood Studios–If we aren’t there at opening, we don’t count on getting to ride Toy Story Mania. But, if we are, then one of us gets fastpasses for the group, while the others get in stand-by line. This way, we can usually ride twice that day.

  15. My FastPass Strategy

1)magic kingdom: My sister and I run to space mountain first and our parents get fast passes for buzz lightyear while we ride.
2)EPCOT: We first ride soarin before the line gets too long and then we grab fast passes for Test Track
3)Hollywood studios: Since we love toy story mania, we run there first and get our fast passes. Then we ride it once without fast passes and by the time we get off the ride it’s usually time to ride it again!
4)Animal kingdom: My parents don’t like Expedition Everent but we still get 4 fastpasses so my sister and I can ride it twice!

    Your comments:

  16. Well we were at the world the first week of June 2010 and had brought with us 3 people who have never been there before, and by the time we got to the parks, all the fast passes were gone and closed! I was very disappointed and confused! I guess you have to get there at open and go to all the fast passes and get them first before you do anything else. it just takes away to the awww of a first timer as they walk into the park!!

  17. Our Fastpass strategy is to get a fastpass for the busiest most popular attraction in the park we happen to be in. Ride it if the line isn’t too bad after we get the Fastpass. Then hit up other attractions grab a snack or eat @ an ADR we have scheduled while waiting for the time to come around to use the fastpass. Use the fastpass then get another fastpass either for that same attraction or another.

    Fast pass MUST:
Magic Kingdom: Peter Pan, Big Thunder Mt.
    Epcot: Test Track, Soarin
Hollywood Studios: Toy Story Midway Mania, Rockin Roller Coaster
    Animal Kingdom: Expedetion Everest

  18. My FastPass Strategy

1)Animal Kingdom – Go to Kilimanjaro Safari for FP then Everest because the line goes fast in the morning. If you go to Everest first thing in the morning, then there are usually short lines, same with Kilimanjaro Safari.
2)Epcot – Soarin because they go so fast and you dont want to stand in like for hours. Then go on test track.
3)Hollywood Studios – Toy Story Mania, go and see Indiana Jones and then go and get another fastpass for Tower of Terror.
4)Magic Kingdom – Either Space Mountain or Big Thunder Mountain and then go to another ride in that area.

Your comments: We plan our route around the parks depending on which rides have FP and which rides dont need FP. Like Philharmagic, last time I went, FP wasn’t even available so that was one FP we didn’t need to get. Use the single rider lines if you don’t mind being split up.

  19. My FastPass Strategy

1)Magic Kingdom: Get a fp for Splash Mountain and then do standby for Big Thunder. Also, get a fp for Pirates and then do standy for Haunted Mansion.
2)Epcot: Immediately to Soarin and get fp and then head to Test Track to get in standby. When finished do Mission Space if enough time.
3)Hollywood Studios: Immediately to Toy Story Manis and get fp and then go to ToT. If enough time do Rockin Roller Coaster. If not get fp for RRC when we can get one.
4)Animal Kingdom: Immediately to Expedition Everest and get fp then head to Safari and get in stand by line.

    Your comments:
Usually my husband goes and gets the fastpasses while me and the children go and get in stand by line at another attraction. We go at Christmas time so of course the crowds are usually heavier. We have our cell phones so he will text me to find out where in line we are and he meets up with us in line. Have a larger party going this year so hopefully this strategy will work the same.

  20. My FastPass Strategy

1)Head straight to rides needing fast passes
    2)
    3)
    4)

    Your comments:
No matter which park we go to we always go get a fastpass first then ride other attractions till we can get another. The rides you will almost always want a fastpass for are: Soarin and Test Track in Epcot. Rockin Roller Coaster and Toy Story Mania in Hollywood Studios. Kali River Rapids in Animal Kingdom.(Secret for Kilimanjaro is to ride during the parade you can walk on the ride no wait). Splash mountain and Big thunder mountain in Magic Kingdom. All the rest of the attractions can be ridden without too much wait depending on time of year. With alot of rides timing is critical. Like never ride SpaceShip earth when entering park unless you are getting there in the evening. Lines alwasy die down for this attration in the late afternoon. Come back later and you are gold.

  21. 1 Magic Kingdom – we do this over 2 days so on day 1 we go straight to Space Mountain and ride, then we get a Fastapss for later and go to Buzz Lightyear, on day 2 we get Fastpass to Spash Mountain then ride Big Thunder
2 Epcot – the family head for Mission Space and ride (I don’t like it) and I go to Soarin for Fastpass. Then we all meet at Test Track and ride that. We do Soarin later after the Fastpass time has come.
3 Hollywood Studios – the family go straight to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster and ride while I get Fastpasses for Toy Story. We meet at Tower of Terror and they ride that then we all go to Toy Story for Fastpass time.
4 Animal Kingdom – we do AK in an afternoon as we only do Expedition Everest, Dinosaur and Kali Rapids so we go straight to Everest and get Fastapsses for later if available and then queue to ride depending on wait time.

  22. My fast pass strategy is the single rider line. I can be a great way to beat the lines if your party doesn’t mind not riding together.

For attractions that don’t have a single rider line, the ones I usually try to get fast passes for are Toy Story Mania and Soarin. Although, once I had a fast pass for Toy Story and still waited an hour.

  23. My FastPass Strategy

    1) When we enter Animal Kingdom we always head right for Expedition Everest. Usually we can get on twice at standby and don’t have to pick up a FP yet. The first FP we get is after our 2 rides on EE and that is for Kilimanjaro Safari. Later in the day we’ll pick up a FP for EE so we can ride again before leaving the park.
    2) When entering Hollywood Studios we are part of the TSM stampede. We always get right on the standby line and after riding we grab FPs for that for later. Whenever we are able to grab another FP we’ll do so for RnRC and ride ToT while waiting for our time slot to open.
    3) We usually never get to Epcot at rope drop but our first stop when we do get there is Soarin’. When we’re able to get another FP it’s always for Test Track.
    4) When we enter the Magic Kingdom, Space Mountain is where I’ll run to grab us FPs. We then head over to Splash and BTMRR and ride one. When we get off, we’re usually able to grab another FP which we’ll get for whatever ride we didn’t do standby (Splash or BTMRR).

Your comments: Having a good FP strategy is essential to enjoying your park day! Standing in lines for hours can put a damper on the happiest person (adult or child) so FPs are really a tool to prevent a meltdown.

  24. My FastPass Strategy

1)AK – go to Everest, stand by line, right after rope drop, then get fastpasses for the Safari. If there at opening, I’m usually on & off Everest in only 10-15 mins.
2)EPCOT – Do Soarin, stand by line, right away at opening. Get Fastpass for Testrack.
3)Studios – Get a FastPass for Toy Story first. Then get in the Standby line. After going through Standby & riding, it’s time (or almost time) to use the FastPass for ride #2. After ride #2, sometimes we’ll get another Fastpass (which is now for early-mid afternoon) & come back again later for ride #3. We don’t do RNR Coaster or the Tower so this works fine for us.
4)MK – It depends. Sometimes we ride Thunder first & I can still walk on Splash after. Other times I Fastpass Splash. We don’t do Space, so that doesn’t enter in. We usually wind up FastPassing Buzz Lightyear later in the day b/c the queue is almost always crazy.

    Your comments:

  25. My FastPass Strategy

    1) Studios: our first stop was always a Fast Pass for RnR Coaster then ride TOT. If we can we’ll get another FP for TOT before heading over to RnR Coaster. Toy Story Mania comes first now.
    2) Epcot: FP for Soaring then head over to Test Track. Then ditto: another FP for Test Track then ride Soaring.
    3) AK: FP for Exp Everest then go ahead and hop on. Ride as many times as we can then use the fast pass. : )
    4) MK: anything goes!

Your comments: Obviously we get to the parks before opening.

  26. Get to Epcot at opening, get Fastpasses for Soarin’ (usually around 35 minutes time at opening) do stand-by Soarin’, eat breakfast in Sunshine seasons, then your fastpass for Soarin’ is ready! 2 rides on Soarin’ and we had an extra half hour in bed as we didn’t need brekkie in the resort!

  27. 1. Magic Kingdom: Head to Frontierland and get a FP for Splash or Big Thunder Mountain, then ride standby on the other. Then when we can get another FP, it’s usually for Space Mountain

    2. Epcot: My husband takes our tickets and goes to Soarin’ to get FP. We ride standby for Test Track, then usually Mission Space, then it’s time for Soarin’.

    3. Hollywood Studios: At park open, husband heads to TSMM for FP, and the rest of us head to Rockin’ Roller Coaster for standby. If we can, we’ll get a FP to ToT as well.

    4. Animal Kingdom: Husband heads to Expedition Everest for FP, the rest of us go standby to Kilimanjaro Safari.

Our strategy changes depending on the day/time of day/season, but generally that is how we work it. We always have at least one fastpass “in the works”.

  28. My FastPass Strategy

1)Animal Kingdom – Kiliminjaro Safari first. Then I backtrack for Festival of the Lion King. By the time we are done with FLK, we are ready to ride. Run ahead to Kali River Rapids, then do the Pangani Forest Trail, ride and then grab Expedition Everest.
2)Epcot – Soarin’ Fastpass is first. Usually most people head to Living with the Land, so we head to the Seas With Nemo and Friends. Usually, we have enough time for Figment as well. Then we head over to Test Track, get the Fastpasses, and then go ride Mission Space. Usually, we have enough time to also hit the Single Rider Line at Test Track before we use our Fastpasses as well.
3)Hollywood Studios – Toy Story Mania and then get in line if we are at rope drop. Then depending on crowd flow, either Rock n’ Roller Coaster or Tower of Terror.
4)Magic Kingdom – This one varies. We plan our Fastpasses here around which Land we are in. For Tomorrowland, Space Mountain is first while we ride Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin and the Transit Authority. Splash or Big Thunder Mountain are obtained while we ride the other plus Pirates of the Caribbean. Peter Pan Fastpasses are the must. The ride always has a long line and the ride is so short. And there are so many other things you can do around there while waiting for the Fastpass time.

There are some rides where Fastpass make no sense. Mickey’s Philharmagic has such a huge capacity, that the most you are going to wait is for 2 shows to go through if you time it right. (I have never waited more than the previous show). The same goes for Voyage of the Mermaid and It’s Tough to Be a Bug. Granted, the cue for It’s Tough to Be A Bug is amazing, so it’s actually worth NOT getting Fastpasses even if the line gets ridiculous.

  29. The only advice I can give about FP is that if you arrive at DHS at park opening is that you should ride TSMM using the standby line first and then get a FP! You should be on the ride within 15 minutes if you ride the standby line at park opening and then your FP will be for about noon!

  30. Hi Mike

    1) Animal Kingdom – Kali River Rapids and Expedition Everest

    2) Magic Kingdom – Peter Pan and Splash Mountain

    3) DHS – Toy Story Mania and Star Tours

    4) Epcot – Soarin’ and Test Track

Like Abby we always get Fast Pass for the whole party. I also keep a Fast Pass from all participating rides for my scrap book.

  31. Magic Kingdom-Splash Mountain
    Epcot-Soarin
Hollywood Studio’s- Midway Mania or Tower of Terror
    Animal Kingdom-Everest

It helps if you have someone in your party that will get fast passes for everyone in the group. That’s me, my husband and son will use that time to ride something that doesn’t “thrill me”.

  32. 1) In Animal Kingdom, we get FastPasses for the whole family even though most of the family doesn’t ride. Thus, those who do ride get multiple FASTPASS rides using the FASTPASSes of those who don’t ride.
    2) In Hollywood Studios, we get FastPasses for Midway Mania. We also get FastPasses for the Rockin’ Roller Coaster using the same strategy we use for Expedition Everest.
    3) In Epcot, we get FastPasses for Soarin’ and Test Track.
Comments: Since we go after Thanksgiving in late November/early December, we don’t really need FastPasses very often. Our favorite FastPass strategy is to go in late November when it’s slow and there are no lines… FastPasses are only needed for the few rides above.

  33. 1. Magic Kingdom – splash mountain
    2. Epcot – Soarin
    3. Disney Studios – Toy Story Mania
    4. Animal Kingdom – kali river rapids

  34. My FastPass Strategy

1)In animal kingdom we always go to kilimanjaro safaries first and after we get a fastpas for kali river rapids
2)For Epcot we go to soarin and ride it then after we get a fastpass for it and do things like nemo or the land to pass the time
3)In Hollywood studios we head towards toy story mania and get fastpasses right away then we ride it
4)Finally in magic kingdom we always head for the mountains first most of the time being splash mountain and get a fastpass for that then we ride big thunder.

  35. The only FastPass strategy that comes to mind is in Hollywood Studios.

As it’s getting close to midday, when we want to return to our resort for a swim or a nap, the family settles into a spot in the Theatre for the next Beauty and the Beast show.

I then head to both Rock n Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror, getting a FastPass for each. Meet up with the family and watch the show. Usually in the FastPass time window for either attraction- ride both and head back to the resort!
