One of the most expensive things in Disney can be one of the most simple — water.
Now, this is if you’re buying bottles of water in the park (which we say to NEVER do!), which can cost $3-$5 apiece. This can easily add up when you’re buying water for the whole family. While we recommend getting cups of water from quick service locations, sometimes you just prefer bottles of water. If this is you, here’s a tip that can save you a LOT of money.
If you’re driving into Disney World, we suggest stopping at one of the many stores nearby (CVS, Walmart, Target, etc.) and getting yourself a case of water bottles for around $4-$7.
These cases often have anywhere from 24-36 full size bottles of water that you can then carry with you into the parks. There is no rule against bringing bottles of water with you, or bringing reusable water bottles that are filled with water already.
Yes, this means that instead of spending $3-$5 PER BOTTLE, you could spend that same amount for 24-36. This way, you can bring water with you into the parks each day, and never have to pay for it in the parks.
If you aren’t driving into Disney World, you can also order grocery delivery from stores like Kroger to have it delivered to your hotel lobby. Yes, you’ll be paying a bit more for the delivery fee, but you’ll still be saving a ton!
Never underestimate how important water is during your Disney World park days — even if you think it’s not that hot, STAY HYDRATED. Here at AllEars, we say “hydrate or dydrate” and that really is the truth. Heat exhaustion and/or stroke can come on quickly, so it’s best to keep yourself hydrated so it doesn’t happen.
