While I couldn't wait for this "land" to finally open, I have to say I was disappointed in the overall size of the place. I was expecting an entire "land" like tomorrowland or fantasyland but instead I would consider it more of an "area". It's just a small cul-de-sac really. The luminaries are very dim and not very lit up at all. I was hoping for bigger and better from Disney. The Navi River Journey is a slow boat ride through...nothing. The only reason to wait in that long line is to see the amazing animatronic of the Shaman at the end. It really is a sight to see, but so disappointing that there is only the one in the entire ride. Flight of Passage is amazing if you can even get on it. Still it is not worth the wait in my opinion. If the line were half as long then MAYBE I would recommend it, but as it stands, it seems like a whole lot of hype for yet another simulator ride which I don't care for. Disney has the technology to do so much more like Universal but they seem to take the easy way out with every new ride. I'm hoping Guardians of the Galaxy will be different.

Na’vi River Journey is a dark ride that is a big let down.
The ride is way to short
It feels like you just got on after waiting forever in the que and it’s over within minutes.
This is one ride I would not waste a fast pass on.

We visited Pandora on our latest trip in January 2019. It was our first time seeing this addition to the park, which is visually stunning. However, the area was too crowded to really enjoy the atmosphere. The pathways are narrow and struggled to accommodate even off-season crowds. I would have loved to spend time people watching and enjoying the atmosphere, but we were constantly moving with the crowd. Both rides have extremely long waits, and though we were able to FastPass the Navi River, it was underwhelming. Perhaps the long walk and influx of people affected our mood, but I found the ride to be an average dark ride. Given our experience during the day, we did not even attempt to return in the evening. I could see this being an enjoyable area once the novelty wears off a little more. However, we won't be returning to this part of the park for a while.

I don't get the Pandora love. Flights of Passage was great. The "land" to me in underwhelming. The creepy plant tat greets you as you enter is just ugly and weird. Navi River Journey is a waste of space. The ride does nothing. Not even he scenery is interesting. I thought the ride was building to something amazing but all it was was one moving Shaman. The food at the quick service restaurant was underwhelming. In fact my husband and I got ill shortly after eating there.

I'll never forget walking into this land for the first time. What they did here is beyond the imagination. It's a must do because it has two of the best rides in all of the parks combined but it's a must do even on it's own.

Not many of the theme parks have areas you just have to walk through. This is one of them. The imagineers absolutely knocked this land out of the park. It is equally amazing during the day and night. The theming is absolutely perfect and the floating mountains are really a marvel.
My husband and I walked through the park for the first time at night and we loved strolling all around. There was so much to look at and the bioluminescent effect was really amazing. It really felt like we had gone somewhere else and weren't strolling around Orlando.
