This is one of the better CS options in DHS.

You get a very nice meal, and a fantastic dessert to boot. A welcomed break from the burger/fries joints, as they provided two sandwich options - a ham and cheese or turkey pesto - both on very soft focaccia bread, and healthy portion of tender, flavorful meat. We were so full from the sandwiches, that we could barely eat the wonderful desserts (some of which rival Epcot).

The desserts are amazing (and huge), and worth a snack credit if you decide to eat elsewhere for lunch or dinner.

Would definitely eat here again and recommend to all. Just be aware that it is very small inside, and the DDP is a little confusing here.

If they'd post what you can get, then the lines would move a lot faster. The employees seemed to spend more time answering DDP questions than processing orders.

Pros:

Value

Cons:

Small and crowded

Had to ask repeatedly for the drinks we wanted, as there were several ladies working and apparently no one was talking to anyone else. . .. CHAOTIC in there, so many patrons, all milling around, no real line or organization. Nice selection, nicely displayed. They really need a bit more organization though.

Pros:

good food, attratively displayed

Cons:

small, tight quarters, not great service

DH, DS12 and I dined here for breakfast on two separate occasions on our late November, 2012 vacation. The set-up of this place made me crazy! Two weird, chaotic lines, CMs who acted like they were SOOO put out to get you some hot water for tea, and a completely insane set-up to get things like cream and sugar for your coffee.

There was ONE, count 'em, ONE cream/sugar station set up outside. Everyone was fighting for the ONE canister of creamer. By the time you stood in line to fix your coffee, it was stone cold.

On the upside, the pastries (cinnamon roll, Napoleon, eclair) were absolutley delicious! Fresh and yummy. We will definitely return, in hopes of a smoother experience next time!

Pros:

Delicious pastries

Cons:

Disorganized, disinterested CMs, crazy set up

My family of 8 visited this cafe in January. We used our Disney Dining Plan snack credits to get a few breakfast pastries.
The cinnamon rolls, chocolate muffins, and turnovers were wonderful, and they were very filling.
We will definitely stop here again to grab a breakfast snack. It held us over until our 4:00 dinner reservations.

Pros:

Wonderful pastries

Cons:

Small space gets very crowded

We ate here on January 25, 2013. We had read the reviews here and really wanted to try the desserts. I would suggest that Disney place instructions for ordering up somewhere in the very small store. There are 2 counter service areas and there is confusion over where to go first.

My daughter and I used our DDP to order Turkey sandwiches--which were very good, but there is no way to customize your order (hold the mayo!). Everything is already prepared ahead of time. We got our desserts and drinks, and then were told to go back and get our chips/fruit which were included on the plan--this was our first day using the DDP so we weren't sure yet what was included.

The dining area is outside under covered tables. Food was very good. Turkey was very fresh. My PB cupcake was huge and delicious. Daughter had a chocolate eclair, which she really enjoyed.

Overall a great place to eat, but there was no menu posted anywhere and the selection of lunch items was limited.

Pros:

Good food

Cons:

Confusing ordering

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcake was no disappointment!! It was excellent - definitely a fork and knife cupcake! Enough to feed 2 (but I admit I ate mine by myself!) Even though I used a snack credit from the dining plan, I definitely would have paid for it!

Pros:

Peanut butter chocolate heaven!

This place has really good sandwiches and excellent pastries. I know you've all heard it before but the napoleon is particularly delicious. Given the chaotic, cramped space in which you have to order and the lack of tables outside, the place could be rated lower but the product they deliver is quite satisfactory.

Pros:

The Napoleon

Cons:

The ordering system is chaos, not enough space inside, not enough tables outside

I recently grabbed a quick lunch here. I tried the Black forest ham sandwich and a peanut butter cupcake. The sandwich was huge! I had to take half of the meat out to fit it in my mouth. Definitely a great value. The desserts here all look amazing. My cupcake was great but very sweet.

Pros:

So many delicious pastries, cupcakes

Cons:

Very small, crowded shop

We ate here May 16, 2013. We wanted a quick, light snack to tide us over before our dinner at Ohana. When we went in, we were surprised to see a good variety of pastries and bagels with cream cheese. They also offered a limited sandwich menu. I opted for the chocolate croissant while my husband got the plain bagel in cream cheese. we split a large soda. Our total bill was around $10. Even if our son had come with us and we'd each gotten a bagel and a soda, our bill would have been less than $20. The pastry was slightly stale. I think they probably bring them out at the beginning of the day (we went at around 3:00 PM). The bagel was fresh. They toasted it perfectly and gave us plenty of cream cheese. My only other complaint was that you have to sit outdoors and the birds pestered us terribly. Still there was ample shade and at that time of day, plenty of tables. We will return there on our next trip for sure.

Pros:

cost

Cons:

food was slightly stale
