I did the St. Thomas tour and shopping and I was disappointed. I was on an open air bus and was taken on a two hour tour of the island. It also included some shopping. A tour of the island govtor's house. What a horrible place, dirty and smelly. I saw birds that were housed in a filthy cage and the shopping, what a joke. I did however purchase a nice sun dress and some rum. The worst part of this so called best of St. Thomas was a child cried for nearly an hour and a half. This child was way too young for this and the weather was very hot. Perhaps this child was overheated. I would not do this again.
Pros:
just okayCons:
crying child and verry hotReviewed by rosehills Review Date: 10/06/2013

Full Day Caribbean Sail & Snorkel to Turtle Cove & Honeymoon Beach
Fantastic! Very fun crew. Our snorkel guide took us around the cove, pointing out sea creatures and giving information. We saw turtles, rays, parrot & many other fish. Then we sailed over to Honeymoon Beach. Relaxing beach, good swimming area.

Port Adventure: Best of St. Thomas Island Tour and Shopping
The open-air safari taxi was a great way to see the island. Easy to get group on and off at each stop. Beautiful stops at at least 5 different lookouts that also had souvenirs to purchase. Guide was great at pointing out things of interest. Relaxed and yet didn't feel like too much time at each stop. A great variety of stops with different things to see and appreciate on the island.
We were dropped off in the shopping area where we could purchase jewellery, clothing and more.
I would highly recommend this tour!
Pros:
Open Jeep was a great way to see the island, knowledgeable guide, beautiful island!Cons:

We had a stop in St. Thomas on our cruise in July 2018 which we booked last minute so a lot of the excursions were already booked. DCL did offer an excursion to do the Skyride to Paradise Point but we were afraid to book in case the weather was bad. My husband looked it up and this was within walking distance from the ship and it was the exact same price if we booked with Disney. We decided to wait and buy tickets once we docked and directly with them so we could be on our own time frame. The walk took maybe 10 minutes and was very easy to get to (you can see it from the ship) and when we went it wasn't crowded so it might have been crowded had we done it with an excursion group. The view up on the point was outstanding and we could see the Fantasy from up above. There was also a restaurant and a few shops at the top where my husband and son bought a t-shirt but we didn't eat anything. You can take your time and determine when you want to come back down. There was a pirate store next door where we ran into "Jack Sparrow" and it also had a pirate museum but we didn't go into that since they charged admission. There were also stores right around the ship with your basic t-shirts, souvenir, and jewelry store. We enjoyed the port even though we didn't venture that far from the ship.
