Initial entry of walkway into exterior of location, we walked on painted plywood floors, real cheesy theming...Once in the minimal themed elevator, you get a simulated ride up into space which was just ok nothing spectacular or even entertaining by today's standards. Upon entering the very small lounge/dining area with again minimum or next to no theming, so you really don't feel immersed into the space environment. The view through the simulated windows where very very limited and just the earth, a few floating astronauts, a space shuttle, all which were on a loop and somewhat pathetic, dated and not very convincing. Of course, the menu was way way way overpriced but that is the norm for Disney to over price and monetize everything and diminish the quality and quantity of everything including but not limited to the so-called themed environments to the food, drinks, and of course rides and shows...Don't waste your time or money. We did not have a reservation, just requested the bar/lounge which has around 8-10? stools for sitting and ordering. Ordered a few drinks and some way too chewy calamari, cost exceeded $100. Friendly Bartenders.
Pros:
Airconditioned, and a relief from the Fireball in the sky!Cons:
Everything as stated in review, waaaaay overpriced, under themed, so underwhelming of an experience as consistently occurs at Disney parks these days.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 11/27/2022

Extremely high priced for below average food. Service was mediocre. Going up the elevator was cool, but it went all downhill after that. We spend a lot of money on dining when we go to DisneyWorld, but this restaurant if off our list forever.

We had to experience Space 2w0 after hearing all the rave about it. We waited and a spot opened for dinner and we took it. We originally had plans for Coral Reef. Shouldve stuck with it. The Atmosphere was a great experience. It peaked early. The elevator ride was neat. And the Earth backdrop was cool. However, the food plummited this review. EXPENSIVE, which is not an issue for good dining. This was not. The ceaser salad was fine. Had filet minion. Cooked perfectly. However, had no flavor. Bland as an unsalted cracker. Then the chocolate cheesecake was AWFUL. One and done for us.

Food was cold and got tricked into 2 $8 Fuji water. Thought we were going to be traveling through space. You just sit in one spot.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 07/31/2022

Would not go back, getting in the elevator was neat as was stepping out into the restaurant and seeing the earth but, that’s where it ended. The menu is limited with small non tasty portions. Spend your money elsewhere!
Pros:
Elevator ride to the restaurantCons:

For $55/person for lunch, it's just not worth it. Feels exclusive considering how hard it is to get a reservation, but overall the experience and the food was pretty disappointing.
The Space Elevator was by far the coolest part of the entire experience, but that only lasts a few seconds... Once you're inside the restaurant, the view from space is cool, but not worth holding your attention for longer than a few minutes. I think this would be better off as a walk through attraction rather than a restaurant.
As for the food, that was just ok... we went for lunch and our group got the calamari, burrata, and cauliflower for appetizers. The best at our table was the calamari. But even that was pretty standard. For entrees we got salmon, tuna, and flat iron steak. The salmon dish was room temperature, not hot or even warm which was not a good experience. The tune and steak were ok.. but nothing special.
I'm all for going to a restaurant for the ambiance and the experience, and have the food be a side note, but this restaurant just doesn't warrant it.
Pros:
It's a neat place to sit down and get away from the Disney World crowds. The experience is neat and unlike anything else Disney has to offer.Cons:
The cool parts of this restaurant don't leave a lasting impression. The food was absolutely not worth the price. You're much better off eating around the world or experiencing the festivals.Reviewed by DVCDebbie28 Review Date: 08/14/2022

Went for lunch . Loved the experience of the space atmosphere and glad we did it one time . However , food was just okay and nothing to rave about . Cauliflower appetizer was good My main meal spaceghetti and shrimp in a butter sauce was okay but my husband’s tuna was quite disappointing. So many better restaurants in Epcot

We're a family of four with two adventurous eaters (adults) and two picky eaters (kids). We ate LUNCH at Space 2022 in July 2022. The highlight of the meal was the theming - the elevator trip to and from the restaurant was fantastic - and we were seated right by the glass which was really nice. However, the views out the window weren't varied enough to keep my wiggly boys entertained for too long. The food was good enough, but nothing stood out to us as spectacular. Our kids ordered speciality drinks (Moon Rocks), and they liked the collector's cups. They also liked the Space 220 collector's cards. Overall, we were a bit underwhelmed. Clearly, the high cost of the restaurant is based on the "experience" which for us was not too memorable - our kids haven't mentioned this specific dining experience once since the trip (three weeks ago). We don't regret eating at Space 220, but we wouldn't feel it necessary to do so again on a future trip. So, we recommend with reservations.

My family visited Space 220 in June. It was the restaurant I was most excited about. The atmosphere was amazing. From the elevator ride to the dining area. However we were so disappointed in the food. My husband got a ceasar salad and the lettuce was bitter and tasted as if it had gone bad. My son's appetizer was inedible. The main entree was just okay. My chicken was dry and there was not flavor. This restaurant was a one and done for me. For the money we spent on this one meal, it was not worth it.

We tried the lounge, which actually worked out well because you can pick from the three course meal or order off the lounge bites menu. We tried a few different drinks, not bad but expensive and fruity. Apps we had were the calamari and the cauliflower (which I ordered because I heard it was amazing) Both were good, not outstanding. Entrees were the Duck and the Steak. The duck breast was undercooked and the other piece was overcooked so not worth the money. The steak was good, again not great but good. However, he did think the potato cake thing was odd tasting. Desserts ordered were the sticky toffee pudding and the carrot cake-we received the lemon dessert on accident. I will say once we flagged down the server he brought the correct one and put the lemon in a to go box. The service was actually the biggest miss for us, our was absent and distracted but we could hear how great the other servers around us were, which made it all the more obvious that ours wasn't having a good day. You are paying for the experience and ambiance which I understand but I think this is a one and done for us, especially because Epcot has much better options.
