This was our 2nd time eating here for dinner. We've always enjoyed it in general. Like all Disney restaurants, it is a bit over priced but we had a free DDP so cost was not an issue. Service was good and timely. Quality and selection of food was good as well.

While on our annual holiday Christmas trip from New York, we decided to dine at the San Angel Inn for lunch. We did not have an ADR and this was on January 3rd, so we were pretty impressed that we found seating. The dips were very good as was the food. Our server was attentive and very nice. My DD had the soup Azteca and she thought this was very good. My DS and DW ordered off the menu as did I. Our server informed us that we could order chicken or cheese Quesadilla's. These were very good and I do recommend this eatery.

Good food and decorCons:

We love eating at San Angel so made reservations for 2/7/13. This time did not disappoint! Our server Christy was fantastic! The meals we ordered were delicious! I got the pollo a las rojas, husband got the carne asada and my MIL got the pork dish (can't remember the name). Everyone loved the meal! Dolce De Leche ice cream finished off the meal! Can't wait to eat here again on our next trip to Disney World!

My family of 8 dined here for the first time in January 2013. After reviewing the menus, we opted for lunch instead of dinner. We had the Disney Dining Plan and considered this a great value.
We were seated at our reservation time, and our server was really great. She was friendly and explained all of the dishes to us.
Most of us ordered the Traditional Mexican Lunch, and a few ordered ala carte. The chips and salsas came out first, and they were delish. The waitress brought out our soup next, and the presentation was very pretty. The entrees followed, and everything was delicious. The desserts looked wonderful too, but most of us were so full that we couldn't even touch dessert.
The atmosphere in the restaurant was very pretty. If I had to pick one thing to criticize, it would be that it's a little dark in there.
Definitely a place we'll visit again!

My children and I ate lunch here and it was one of the best meals we had at Disney. The chips and salsa were delicious. I ordered the steak tacos and my son ordered quesadillas and both were excellent. The only downside is the lighting. It was perfect to set the mood, but made it difficult to see the menu. Also, the children's menu only offered Mexican dishes. It would be nice to see pbj or something ordinary for picky eaters.

We have eaten here before, a couple of years ago and so we knew what to expect. We had lunch last Monday, 3/11/13, and walked right up without reservations, with minimal wait time. Their food was not a disappointment at all, we loved it! DH and I both had the Traditional Mexican Lunch, and DS17 had the Enchiladas Verdes de Pollo (chicken enchiladas with green salsa). Our server, Jorge, was disappointing though. He barely paid any attention to us, left us waiting FOREVER after taking our drink orders, and only checked on us 1 time throughout our meal. We literally had to flag him down for our drink refills and he never offered us a refill on our water glasses at all.
I really do love this restaurant, it feels like you're transported to an outdoor cafe right in Mexico.
I will think twice, however, after the service that we received, before going back again.

We had DELICIOUS food and I had a wonderful margarita (passion fruit) but though I like the atmosphere, it is VERY dark and our server wasn't at all friendly. We did luck out with a seat right in by the water though, so that was fun.
Pros:
Delicious food and drinkCons:

Though the atmosphere is a quite dark, it's this way on purpose to give the illusion of being at an outdoor market at night and really is wonderful! The food is fantastic and as many of the restaurants in Epcot you can share many of the meals. The small steak tacos are great and we, of course, love the chips and different salsas that come with the table. After your meal, give the boat ride a try. Never a wait and quite relaxing.

We dined at San Angel Inn recently. It is one of our favorites at Epcot and this visit did not disappoint. We all had the Sopa Azteca (traditional tortilla soup) that is presented and served tableside. It's delicious! We also all once again had our favorite entree, Pollo a la Rajas (grilled chicken with rice in a cream sauce). This dish is so wonderful and always excellent. Desserts here are terrific as well. My favorite is the Crema Bavaria. I highly recommend San Angel Inn not only for the beautiful and romantic atmosphere but also for the food. Also, we had the best server at our trip here, Marion. He was so friendly and a joy to talk to. He also works at Be Our Guest.
