This place was great a few years ago but now it was such a major disappointment. The staff and service was great but the food selection was the worst I’ve seen at a Disney resort. When looking at the menu online it may look ok but some items ended up not being available. We were told there was a turkey shortage but you could get it elsewhere on property. You’re left with like 5 choices that aren’t salad (salad is like one you would get at Wa Wa). We visited friends at another deluxe resort and their quick service was so good with nachos, noodles, and wings! Also wanted to point out that the tea machine was broken our entire trip but at the Port Orleans they had those drink machines that you can get basically anything. Our first day was spent at All Stars and their food was WAY better.
I still can’t believe that this is the dining situation for a hotel charging $500 a night.

Pros:

Service, spacious

Cons:

Poor choices

We always love this place, but really do not like the new ordering process. While the end result is nice, with your order arriving at your table, it takes FOREVER to get through the ordering line. The menu is limited, so it should not be hard for people, but it is. They stand in line for a long time and while they have been starring at the menu for 10 minutes, they look back up to see what they want. I found it extremely frustrating. We at there much less than we normally do because of it.

Food is fine but needs more variety. It is real tricky to get beverages when it is busy. Not enough room to fix your coffee.
It should be double the size

Staff is very nice.

Pros:

Location

Cons:

Too small , especially when busy

We ate breakfast here every morning. I was hoping for more options or at least a change during the week, but the hot meals are the same every day. The ordering area is all very tight so it gets crowded and chaotic and I think they can do a better job of "crowd control" if they had a different configuration. The seating area is crowded during peak breakfast times but we lucked out and found table each morning.

The food is good. I agree the Mickey waffles with bananas foster topping are the best! We learned to order the kid sized meals because they were just the right amount of food and they came with a beverage anyway. Save money!

Pros:

Quick to eat and go

Cons:

Crowded for breakfast; no change in options

Selection adequate and food is pretty good. Gets very crowded at peak meal times. Some tables outside. Right in the middle of the hotel so it is super convenient.

Pros:

Good Food/Convenient

Cons:

Limited Choices/Price/small seating Area

We had dinner here on our last night at Wilderness Lodge earlier this month. We must have hit a good time because it was not crowded at all. We ordered and got our food quickly, and there was plenty of seating inside and out. Lots of good quick service options here.

Pros:

Good food and selection for a quick service

Cons:

None

Quick and the food is actually good.

Cons:

Can be very busy at peak times but that is expected.

We took the ferry ride here from MK (which was really nice, btw) one night on our recent trip to WDW, and were very glad we did.
While we were initially quite confused (and could tell many others were, too) by the ordering procedure, once we figured it out, it was actually nice. Get your sides/desserts/drinks first, then place your entree order with the cashier. When your food is ready, they'll bring it to your table - a nice touch for a quick service restaurant.
Our food was good overall. I got the Wilderness Chicken Sandwich. My only issue was my own failure to ask what was in the Wilderness sauce, only to find out after I got it that it has horseradish in it, and I'm really not a fan of that. It also has some fruit in it I think...maybe raspberry, cranberry, or pomegranate. Not sure. It cut into the horseradish taste somewhat, but not enough for me. I wiped it off with a napkin and survived just fine. Other than that, the sandwich was good. My wife got the pulled pork, which was good. Both of my kids got burgers and enjoyed them.
The desserts really made the meal, though. I got the Magic Cookie Bar, which was easily the best thing I ate all week. SO GOOD! My only issue was that it was so big. It's really rich, and I learned that you really can have too much of a good thing. If you're gonna get the Magic Cookie Bar (and you should!), plan on splitting it with someone or saving some for later. It was just too rich for me to eat the whole thing in one sitting. My son got the Smores cupcake and really liked that. My wife was going to get the Strawberry Lemonade cupcake, but it was a summertime seasonal option, and was gone when we got there. We opted for its replacement - the Caramel Apple cupcake, and were more than satisfied with it.
All in all, as long as you know the procedure going in, you won't be disappointed by this little QS spot. Plan a boat ride over there, and enjoy a really good meal.

Pros:

Good food, especially the desserts

Cons:

Different ordering procedure
