Speaking of Narcossees, I was very much looking forward to eating here but we were disappointed. My boyfriend and I ate here for dinner Monday night, December 3, 2018. The food and waiter Amer were excellent but the service was more than slow and they were letting people into the restaurant dressed wearing tank tops, badly ripped jeans, hoodies, and baggy swim shorts. I thought there was a dress code?! I wore a backpack around the Magic Kingdom all day with clothes to change into and it was upsetting to see this. Those people shouldn’t have been allowed into the restaurant. Otherwise, then don’t have dress codes if you allow people not to follow them. Our reservation was at 7:20pm and I had tickets for $125 each for Disney After Hours @ MK starting at 10pm on Monday night December 3rd. We got there early around 7pm and we didn’t get out the restaurant till after 10pm!!! There’s no reason for a restaurant to take over three hours!!!!! Our waiter was more than attentive to my nut allergy and it’s a beautiful restaurant but because of how slow the service is and how people were allowed to dress, I don’t think we’ll return. We got to After Hours a half-hour late because of this and then Mine Train kept breaking down so we kept wasting time trying to get on it so all together I paid $250 plus tax for two After Hours tickets when I could only use them for two hours instead of three.
Pros:
Good server, beautiful restaurantCons:
SLOW service - over three hours! , people allowed into restaurant badly dressed when there's a dress code, people stand in front of your view outside on the balcony to watch fireworksReviewed by secondstar2rt Review Date: 10/12/2016

Let me start by saying our meal was completely comped. We went to Narcoossee for my birthday dinner on our last night. We were seated in a timely manner. Our somewhat disheveled looking waiter arrived to take our drink orders. My daughter told him that not only were we celebrating my birthday, but today actually was my birthday. The waiter replied to her "okay, what do you want to drink". Not a word to me. We ordered drinks and appetizers. The waiter refilled my husband's wine but never asked any of the rest of us if we wanted another drink. My daughter and son-in-law's food arrived but it was another 10 minutes until my husband and my halibut arrived. No apology for the wait. My first bite of halibut and I thought 'this is crunchy'. I turned the fish over and the bottom to totally burned. My husband turned his over and it was dark brown but not as black as mine. We called the waiter over and he said 'ya, I cook a lot of halibut and I could tell it wasn't right.' Well why did he serve it? He said he would bring new plates to us immediately. Another 15 to 20 minutes later he brought the new plates. In all this time my daughter and son in law had of course finished their meal and the waiter had not bothered to check on us once. Our water glasses were not even refilled. When the new plates finally came, my husband was so angry he said 'i'm not eating this' and went to find the manager. She apologized profusely and said that our experience was unacceptable. She said our whole meal would be comped. We offered to pay for the part of the dinner that was good but she refused.
We have visited Narcoossee many times before and always had impeccable food and service. Unfortunately, this was a much planned and anticipated birthday dinner and we didn't even get to eat.

Narcoosee's has become such a disappointment. I have eaten here for years, and have watched it go from a wonderful restaurant to what it is now. They have cut portions as far as they possibly can, and have increased prices to the point that for what you get, it's clearly no longer worth it. It's a shame. This was one of my favorite restaurants. The filet mignon that I had wasn't near at tender or flavorful as what I get at Yachtsman Steakhouse, and lobster tail is lobster tail, rather small at that. You get your dinner on this small square plate that doesn't help. They even make the Almond Crusted Cheesecake smaller! It's pretty bad. If you want a good restaurant that is worth the $ go to Citrico's or Yachtsman Steakhouse.

Located at the GF on the lagoon, the boat from MK drops you off right here. There is a great outdoor porch to see the MK and Lagoon at night.
The rest of this review is based on the fact that it is a 2 dinner charge on the dining plan. Also, the prices on the menu are steep. We only had to wait a couple of minutes before being seated which was great. But then we sat even longer before someone stopped at our table, despite the attention to all the tables around us. A manager came by to take our drink order as if she knew we were waiting. Then our server, oh boy. She was from the South, based on accent and name tag. Her service was something expected at a diner. We had the calamari app, which was good. The scampi entree was very filling due to the sauce. It was good. The DW had scallops that were good. Nothing above Red Lobster quality tho.
Desserts WERE AWESOME!! My creme brulee was delicious and the wife's cheesecake.... UNBELIEVABLE!!!! The best cheesecake and dessert at WDW!!!!
Sadly, though, I would not go back or recommend based on service and overall menu. I would be livid if not on dining plan. It just is not worth it at all. Plus there were kids running around, on I-pads, screaming and yelling. NOT ACCEPTABLE at a place like this.

We dined at Narcoossee's, for the first time, on December 28. We began with a wonderful sour dough bread service and a special salted butter. For a starter 2 of our table (party of 7) had the lobster bisque, which is poured at the table. Nice large chunks of lobster and an oh so creamy bisque. For entrees I had the Scallops and Parisian Gnocchi dish. I do not like the consistency of normal gnocchi (too doughy) but our server convinced me this was lighter. He was spot on! This dish was absolute perfection for me. The truffled Meyer lemon cream sauce I could have licked out of the bowl. Other members of our party had the surf & turf, pork chop and salmon. Every single person loved their dish. For dessert we shared the almond crusted cheesecake and pineapple bavarois. Both were delicious but most of us preferred the cheesecake. Narcoossee's has now moved into the top 3 WDW locations for us. Topolino's and California Grill (prior to the prefix menu) are also favorites.

Fantastic dining experience. Service was classic Disney. Wait staff made excellent recommendations. Salmon was great as well as the scallops. Steaks are great for non seafood lovers. Price was a little high but I don’t mind paying if it’s worth it. AND IT WAS WORTH IT!! We’ve been here many times now, over 8. And it always delivers! Hats off to the cast members that work there. They are phenomenal at what they do!
Pros:
Great food/ Great service/ Great Atmosphere.Cons:

The food was very good, the staff was ok (not the friendliest), and the views were beautiful. I just think that after these past two years, I just care so little about being fancy now that this restaurant just did not appeal to me like it once would have. It was a bit too buttoned up for my tastes.
Pros:
Food was tasty. The lobster bisque was fine. Everything we ordered was cooked very well, but it really was not anything I could not do at home myself.Cons:
Price was very high for what you get, and the atmosphere was way too stuffy for Disney World. I mean...it is Disney people, not Paris.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 02/02/2022

Always a Must at Disney! I’ve been to Disney more times than I have fingers and toes and have eaten at Narcoossee’s double times I’ve been if not more. We stay at Grand Floridian when we travel to Disney. Our first trip in ‘94 was the only time we have not but we did find this gem of a restaurant! Everything from the food to the experience is always A+. I cannot say I’ve ever had a problem or anything all the times I’ve dined there. They’re so great we even go twice sometimes 3 times while we’re there for the week! Steaks and seafood are superb and the view of the fireworks is amazing!

We dined here a few months ago. We had a very nice server, and the food was really good overall. I ordered the filet and it was incredible. The dessert was also amazing. Plus, we has a beautiful view of magic kingdom from our table.
Pros:
- really good food - nice staff - beautiful viewsCons:
- food takes a while to come out, so not a great dining option for a rushed dinner.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 05/17/2021

The food was phenomenal, I don’t like seafood so I ordered the pork chop and banana dessert as well with sides. Amazing top quality food you wouldn’t expect to be at wdw
