Worth every penny. Busy week and we were able to get on every popular ride with minimal to no wait times. Using rope drop meant that we were able to ride Pandora multiple times. We did not have issues with the app not working. It was so simple to use and we could start grabbing times for rides while we were on the Skyliner in the morning. Would use this for anyone who doesn't get the parks very often or if this is a one-time or annual trip. Get familiar with it before you go so you know what to expect. You can try it for one day and see if you like it. You don't need to buy it for the entire trip. We did buy it for all 6 days and got a slight discount because we booked it when we booked our trip, but I'm not sure if this is still an option.

Pros:

Makes the most of your trip. You will get on popular rides with minimal to no wait. Time is money and this was worth every penny.

Cons:

Expensive.

I love this system. I enjoy being on my phone and being able to plan everything seamlessly. I can noy wait to be at my next trip and be up at midnight to schedule genie and then get up at 7am to make plans. This way I can be immersed in Disney magic all day and night. People are just too lazy to get involved and want Disney to do everything for them.

Pros:

Interaction with phone and making plans

Cons:

Not complicated or annying enough

So, I gotta say, that I was really hesitate to try Genie Plus because of all the negative reviews and comments. I just spent a week in WDW with another family. There were 8 of us in total and with the exception of me and my husband it was everyone's first time. We didn't purchase Genie Plus for our first day at the studios and we just didn't get as much done as I was hoping. Because I'm the mostly seasoned Disney person in the group I, happily, planned everything. We got it for our 2nd day which with at MK and we got all the mountains done, buzz and a few other things and I really felt we were able to get more done in less time. Our day at Animal Kingdom with Genie Plus was AMAZING. We did Everything. The key in booking your next experience right after you scan into the ride or as soon as it'll let you. We did pay extra Avatar but it was worth it to not wait in line. The family I came with doesn't really plan to come back to WDW and they knew it was going to be an expensive trip so they didn't mind paying more to do more. And you gotta get your first ride booked at 7 AM to get the most. You don't need to be there that early but it gets your day started and maxed out.

Pros:

Once you figure out how to use it, it's amazing.

Cons:

It's expensive, but nothing is cheap at WDW so what are you going to do.

We loved this! Hubby, who is tech savvy, was in charge of Genie+ and I was in charge of food ordering and packing snacks, sunscreen, bug spray, money, etc. We went on soooo many rides, and waited no more than five minutes for any of them. Such a steal and it felt like VIP treatment to get escorted to the front so quickly for each one. After using Genie+, I’d never go back without it. We watched all of Mollys videos to help us understand it correctly before using it.

Pros:

Fast, time-saver, helps with planning, good for tech-savy individuals.

Cons:

You do have to walk a lot of attractions are in different lands. Some people may struggle if they don’t understand how it works.

Since we go on VIP tours when we are staying at Disney, I love to be able to pay extra to avoid long lines with whining and complaining families. If these people can't afford a Disney trip they should stay home and watch TV

Pros:

Great for us and other refined guests

Cons:

Too inclusive, should raise price

Absolutely loved using Genie+. We are a family of 6 so it wasn’t cheap but worth every penny! We only bought it for MK and HS but we got to ride almost everything each day we used it.

Pros:

Pretty simple to use and makes it possible to get more things done.

Cons:

Sometimes it felt like we were waiting around to either get into the Lightening Lane or make our next reservation. Also it can add up with larger groups.

We absolutely LOVED genie+! We waited no more than 5 minutes for anything our entire 6 days of using it. We never rope dropped and took our time getting to the park every morning. With 4 adults and one 4.5 year old it was nice not being rushed.
I would 100% suggest Genie+ if you have young kids. We walked on most rides and it kept our son from having a meltdown from waiting in lines. We were able to ride every ride he was tall enough to get on in Magic Kingdom in under 3 hours. It was easy to book passes, but some rides did book extremely fast. We thought it was worth every penny and helped us have a stress free vacation.

Pros:

Rode twice as many rides as our last trip. Kept our day going smoothly

Cons:

Didn't get any personalized suggestions based on our interests Some rides booked way faster than we expected.

Used Genie+ at all parks, except Animal Kingdom in November ( except for the "fancy rides"), and id do it again. I might not do it in Epcot as it wasnt really needed but was happy we did it.

Pros:

Shorter wait times, didn't wait more than 30mins for amy ride

Cons:

Could sell out fast

The price is right! I've used this by myself, with my family of 4, and with a big group of 8. We have been able to ride everything we wanted to and still worked in other items during slow moments. It really is worth the money.

Family of 4: 12 LLs in December 2021
Family of 8: 8 LLs in March 2022
By Myself: 7 LLs in 3 hours in May 2022

Pros:

We were able to do so much more than if we had to wait in the long lines! Less waiting in lines = less cranky kids (and parents). The price! It is really cheap compared to other theme parks.

Cons:

The system is clunky and still has kinks to work out - wear your #patientpants

If you want to have the best possible time at Disney, short of getting a VIP tour or renting out the park for private use, this is the best way. Paying for it sucks, but I would rather pay for it and get stuff done than wait in lines and accomplish very little. We used it on Ocy 21, 2021. It was brand new. We had no videos to help us prepare, or time to budget. There 12 people in our party...12! With rope dropping and Geinie ➕️ we only waited in long standby twice, and that's because I didn't know how to fiddle faddle! We also did not zigzag at all. If you have a decent understanding of the park layout you can plan ahead. We have already purchased it for our December trip and I've practiced enough at home that I'm confident we can mix Geinie + with rope drop and get everything done with a pool break in the middle of the day. If the price is high because of a large party then I suggest at least using it at MK and/or staying at a cheaper hotel to fit it in your budget for all the parks.

Pros:

Saves time, best way to get lots done

Cons:

Cost
