Pros: location, pool, amount of sit down restaurants
Cons: lack of options quick service restaurants for breakfast

Stayed 5/1 to 5/6. First trip to wdw in 18yrs. Location can not be beat if you are an epcot or hollywood studios fan. 10 min walk or ferry ride to epcot. 15 min ferry or 25 min walk to hollywood (do have little ones.) Best resort pool bar none. has a lazy river, shipwreked slide, section for pool sports, and a sand bar for the kids. so many quality choices for sit down dinners. cape may cafe. beaches and cream. compass and ale. yachtsman steakhouse, with epcot and the boardwalk options only minutes away. quickservice breakfast is limited. but sitting and eating in their solarium and garden areas are nice. the room was roomier than expected, and view of stormalong bay and boardwalk was awesome, as well as fireworks from hollywood studios. More than expected and would recommend to any one. It truly was magical.

Pros: pool, distance to Epcot
Cons: poor up keep of hallways, lack of quick service

I stayed at the Beach Club for four nights 4/21-4/25/13, this is my second time staying at this resort.

The best part by far about staying here is the amazing Stormalong Bay. You will not find a better pool on Disney property. They are strict on checking room keys to get in, which is a plus for guests staying there. The room was very spacious and clean, but I think it was rushed by housekeeping as there were some linens and other basic items missing. Not a big deal, but some things do matter when you're paying Deluxe Resort prices.

The cons- I noticed while walking through the hallways there was paint chipping and scuff marks on the room doors. It doesn't make sense why Disney can't spend a little money to do some basic up keeping. Also, the carpet in the hallways seems outdated and could use a good cleaning.

Other than a few issues, I really enjoy staying at the Beach Club and would stay again just to be close to Epcot and the wonderful pool.

Pros: Location Location Location
Cons: need reservations for sit down breakfast - Wi-Fi didn't work

I adore this resort. The only drawback is that Cape May is a Breakfast BUffet and you have to get reservations in advance - too full for walk ups. Next closest was the buffet at the Yacht Club...it was awful.

Overall, the Beach Club was wonderful...rooms are quiet and spacious...no Wi-Fi however...We loved being able to walk to EPCOT and Boardwalk.

If I could afford to stay here every trip, I would!

Pros: Loved the POOL area. close to Epcot and HS.
Cons: none

I loved this resort. Quick walk to Epcot. We actually walked from Epcot after fireworks to dock at Beach Club and was able to get to HS with 15 mins and catch Fantasmic. 2 shows, 1 night, love it. Beds were awesome. I was able to look out my room and see the back of the ToT, my favorite ride in all of Disney. Friendly, clean just awesome. one more time the POOL!!!! Can not beat this place, hands down.

Pros: beautiful resort, location, nice rooms, great housekeeping, fantastic restaurant choice.
Cons: none

We had major concerns before leaving due to many negative reviews however we couldn't have been happier. The resort is beautiful, the pool fantastic and the choice of restaurants wide. The room was clean and well cared for with none of the problems reported by other reviewers. We had towel animals each day and a beautifully cleaned room. The location is outstanding. It took only 4 minutes from our room to EPCOT bag check and 12 to DHS. We were spoilt and much preferred the resort to others such as the Grand Floridian. If we were being picky then the breakfasts at the Beach Club Marketplace were poor but that would be trying to find something negative.

Pros: close to several parks, beds, thickness of towels
Cons: lack of food service, noisy, slow luggage delivery

This was a special treat for our daughter for her birthday. Our luggage took forever to be delivered to our room It was transferred from Caribbean Beach. The beds were very nice and the towels were thick and fluffy.Housekeeping itself was just ok. Our room had a nice view but it was noisy both outside and above us. The wallpaper in places was peeling off. For the price we paid I expected more from a deluxe resort. We'll stick with the moderate resorts.

Pros: location, convenience
Cons: little quick dining choices, housekeeping

Stayed at the BCR in Feb 2012 for a race weekend. Housekeeping was spotty, both in the rooms and around the resort.

The quick dining choices are limited, and the resort seems "tired."

On the bright side, close to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios and transportation good.

Pros: Location to Epcot, pool, friendliness factor
Cons: Lack of intimate feel, lack of food options

The DH and I just got back from a 4 day stay at BC. It was quite lovely and we enjoyed our stay, however we are bigger fans of the AKL and will try the BW before coming back to the BC.

Pros:
1. LOCATION! The proximity to EPCOT is amazing! The DH and I only walked for 5 to 7 minutes from the inside of our room to the inside of the park.

2. Atmosphere: It was quite relaxed and not stuffy at all. Very family friendly.

3. Pool facilities: We enjoyed the pool quite a bit and were impressed by the size of it all. It is a great place to turn children loose and let them have fun! We found a few cons with the pool though that you will see below.

4. Bus timing was very good. We never had an extreme wait for a bus and we were able to find seats almost every time.

Cons:
1. Too much “family” for a romantic getaway. There are a lot of kids running around and screaming everywhere. Bus rides are less than stellar every time due to tired children screaming at the tops of their lungs.

2. Not enough King size beds. We were unable to get a king sized bed as we requested, and were told that “because the BC is a ‘Family Resort’ there are less king beds than the neighboring YC” They offered for us to change to the YC but we decided to stay where we were and deal with the queen beds.

3. Lack of an intimate feel at SAB. The pool is huge, which is awesome for bigger families, however, for a couple such as the DH and I we like a quieter more intimate experience at the pool. The AKL pool is the prime example of what I am referring to. The wrist band policy is also a bit crazy and take a little fun out of the experience.

4. Lack of on-site food options. Hurricane Hanna’s was closed during our stay, so food options were quite limited.

5. Early closure of SAB. I am not a fan of how early SAB closes and would have liked to have seen later hours at the pool. It can be tough to get back to the room from the parks in time to change and get to the pool before it closes at 10:00 or earlier.

As you can see, I prefer a more intimate couples geared vacation than a family affair, so BC wasn’t perfect for me. However, I know it very much fits the bill as a family resort and families will love the resort very much. I won’t be staying here again for many years…perhaps not until I have a larger family to bring with me.

Pros: location, pool, transportation, beautiful
Cons:

We went to the Beach Club in the last week in August and it was simply amazing. The pool, Stormalong Bay, was incredible with a slide connected to a ship wreak and at the bottom of the pool was sand. It also had a lazy river, a sand bar, whirlpools, and hot tubs scattered all over. We loved that we could walk right into Epcot from the resort and the Boardwalk was just across the lake. You also must visit Cape May Cafe for a wonderful breakfast with characters. We will be there in December as we were last year, when we watched them make a gingerbread carousel and house made by hand in the lobby. we can't wait to return to the Beach Club.

Pros:
Cons:

Stayed at the Beach Club Sept 16-21 with my husband. Beautiful resort, clean and well located but we were not "wowed" by this resort. Previous stays at the Poly and Animal Kingdom Lodge have spoiled us with their breathtaking lobbies and decor. The proximity to Epcot was a bonus and our room was clean and spacious but we would probably not stay here again. Housingkeeping was OK, our room was cleaned daily but, again, nothing special. We were celebrating our 30th anniversary and, although it was mentioned, we did not really receive anything from the resort to help us celebrate this occasion. Loved the pool! No problems with the transportation - the bus to Downtown Disney was a bit of a nightmare with screaming kids and too many passengers but we did not wait longer than 10-15 minutes for any buses during our stay. We did use a taxi to get to Animal Kingdom lodge for dinner, just didn't allow enough time for transfering buses to get to our ADR.

Pros: Location, Location, Location, Clean and plenty of activities
Cons: Little balconies

1st Time staying at the Beach Club. Location can't be beat. The pool is large and despite being crowded able to find pool chairs and be in the pool and not feel crowded in. Walk to Epcot is 7 minutes from the entrance. The rooms are large enough, however, we found the the mousekeeping not up to the standards we were used to at Boardwalk. Daily had to call down for wash cloths and towels. If we had extra, the housekeeping staff removed them. The lobby is large and echos with the all the voices, but, I would definitely stay here again! Busing still an issue. Think Disney needs to examine the buses. On some routes 5 hotels on the same bus! Impossible to get on and the waits from downtown Disney was long...

Pros: Pool, Atmosphere, Prox. to EPCOT
Cons: Marketplace, Quick-Service, Mousekeeping

Stayed 8/3-8/11 2012. Previously 4 times at value, and upgraded as a celebration. Very impressed with most of the resort. Beautiful layout, big comfy room with balcony, fantastic pool. Staff was great. As the week went on, mousekeeping got worse. Not impressed. Marketplace was nice, but lack of a decent quick-service menu really was a downer. Loved the walk to EPCOT and the boat to H/S. Will try to stay here again.

Pros: Great location
Cons: Poor mousekeeping, run down dirty room, poor service

I have to agree with the previous poster who said the Beach Club seemed wonderful in the planning stages with it being next to Epcot and a super looking pool. But unfortunately it just didn't live up to all the hype for us.

While we were happy with our view, that was about where the happiness ended. The room itself was small for a deluxe, extremely dirty, and run down. Mousekeeping did very little other than run the vacuum and make the beds. We had a balcony, but it was so dirty and sticky that we couldn't enjoy it.

While storm-along-bay pool looks awesome in pictures, it just wasn't for us. It was super loud and crowded all the time. And you have to go out onto and cross a public walkway to get to the slide entrance. We could never find clean/empty chairs, they all had towels strung all over them. Unfortunately all this didn't add up to a fun or relaxing pool experience.

And 5 resorts sharing a bus to Downtown Disney is just terrible. What normally is a 10 minute trip from DTD back to any other WDW resort we have stayed at, ends up to be a 45+ minute trip back to the BC.

After dealing with all the issues we had enough about halfway thru the week and called and complained and asked to be moved to another deluxe resort. They declined our request and never did tend to the room issues.

Although our issues were not attended to when we were at WDW, they were after the fact. I sent in my comments and room pictures to WDW and told of how these issues were not taken care of when we were there. Disney has since made it right with us. But it sure did put a damper on our entire vacation and we won't be returning to the BC anytime soon.

Pros: Very Friendly and Helpful Staff, Pool Complex
Cons: Very loud lobby area, food court is limited

We stayed 4 nights at the Beach Club from 6/4 to 6/8. All of the staff at Beach Club were very friendly and did whatever it took to take care of my questions and a few concerns. Our room was very clean, with comfortable beds, and very pleasant decor. When we first arrived in the room the toilet didn't work and engineering had to be called to replace some of the hardware. Also one of the cabinet doors was ready to fall off its hinge. The carpeting in the hallways are starting to show their age. Overall a nice building with some flaws. The food at the restaurants was very good to excellent. I rated the resort an 8 due to needing some brush up here and there, and having a very loud lobby. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, but I don't feel compelled to return either.
