My husband, son (7), and I dined at Napa Rose on June 6th and had a wonderful experience. We arrived early for our reservations, and enjoyed great cocktails - very reasonably priced - prior to dinner. The service was exceptional!!! Food was on par, but different, from the famed (and one of our all time favorites) California Grill at the Contemporary Resort at WDW. It's well-worth the splurge.

The food here is consistently good and creative. Any of the fish dishes are wonderful and the goat cheese ravioli (if it is on the menu) is the best anywhere. Napa Rose also serves the best espresso we've had outside of Italy and the best Negroni we've ever had.

My family of four and I ate here at the end of July. Food was not memorable. I can tell you about meals I have had at the California Grill or Brown Derby (all of them, I believe) for eight years. Can I tell you what I ate about a month ago at the Napa Rose? No. The service was terrible, especially once a VIP (or so they seemed) table was seated next to us. We could not even get our water refilled at that point. This was a bad service experience. The food was mediocre. Not what one would expect at a restaurant of this type.
