At Epcot with Neighbors

My wife Vickie and ! enjoyed lunch at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop before meeting up with some friends at Epcot. I took a photo of the classic Mickey holes in the hamburger press. The Cast Member cooks are happy to show it off!

We rendezvoused with Bill and Debbie in the France Pavilion. It was one of the first warm sunny days in Florida in weeks! (Floridians usually don’t suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder, but the 2009-10 winter has really confused some Florida residents and “snowbirds”). On this day, we were smiling! I took this photo of Debbie and Bill inside the Stave Church in the Norway Pavilion. It was Debbie’s birthday!

We checked out the Enoteca Castello Wine Shop in the Italy Pavilion. For several years, Mickey has been hiding at the left front of the wine counter. The images present when I updated the Hidden Mickeys book were classic Mickey holes in the woodwork. These holes were gone, but Bill spotted a newer classic Mickey in the refurbished woodwork. Thanks, Italy!

We completed our afternoon at World Showcase with a visit to the Impressions de France movie. I always enjoy this journey through France, accompanied by relaxing classical French music.
