Trick-or-Treating at Fort Wilderness

As soon as I started editing my photo, a certain song began playing in my head. I’ll spare you this time by just saying it is from the Villains’ Dance Mix and Mingle.

Halloween at Walt Disney World is wicked fun between the special holiday park and resort treatments and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Guests at Fort Wilderness trick-or-treat throughout the campsite by visiting other Guests’ campsites.

A few years ago, my friend Terri and I were invited to spend Halloween evening/night with our friends Carol & Gary Cruise. They hunkered down at Fort Wilderness, decorated, and handed out candy, we even brought some. It was awesome! I would jump at the chance to do this again if our vacations ever realign.

What are you handing out this? I have Rice Crispy Treats, Starburst Jellybeans, Welch’s Fruit Snacks, and Dots.

  1. We are handing out freezies….did that last year when we ran out of candy, and it was a huge hit. So we decided to give all comers a handful of these once again (not frozen, of course). The biggest fans? Surprisingly, teens whose parents probably no longer stock the treats in their freezers now that the kids are older.
    Happy Halloween everyone!!

  2. Lisa, I will be handing out glow-bracelets, as I have been doing for several years. The kids seem to love them more than candy.
