Disney Pic of the Week – Abstracts

Light Meter by Lisa K. Berton

Once again my photography pals and I have collected one image each to demonstrate abstract photography. By definition, abstract photography is an image that doesn’t clearly showcase it’s subject. It leans more towards fine art and freedom of expression than say product photography or portraiture, if you will.

Abstracts are used to conjur up emotions even if you can’t exactly identify what it is you’re feeling. Some shots are strong and bold while are others are light and mystical. It’s a broad range no matter how you slice it.

Here’s my photo for the week.

Canon EOS 30D with Canon 17-40mm L USM The digital enhancements to this photo are contrast, brightness, and color richness.

Reflected in the rippled moat is Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Barrie and Scott will be back later on this week with more abstract photography.
