Mickey Mouse to Celebrate His Birthday with Trip Around the World

Mickey Mouse is embarking on a trip around the world, where he will make surprise appearances to celebrate his upcoming birthday, November 18. Mickey's global adventures will be captured and shared on Disney's Mickey Mouse Facebook page, culminating with the November 18 debut of a video that highlights Mickey's travels and features a new song, "What We Got." Also on Mickey's birthday, select locations at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts, as well as Disney Stores in the United States, will be distributing commemorative "Happy Birthday, Mickey!" buttons. Disneyland Park in Anaheim will host a special pre-parade birthday celebration for Mickey, and at Magic Kingdom in Orlando, characters and performers will dance in a special birthday-themed edition of the Move It! Shake It! Dance and Play It! Street Party.

Three-Day Celebration of Piemonte, Italy Comes to Four Seasons Resort Orlando

This October 27-29, Ravello at Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort will host a three-day celebration highlighting the Piemonte region of Italy. Executive Chef Fabrizio Schenardi, who hails from Torino, Italy, will bring Italian guest chefs in partnership from the Italian Food Style Education (IFSE) Culinary School in Italy to prepare an Italian culinary extravaganza as part of this event. A pop-up Italian Market will be offered featuring imported olive oils, wines, and housemade Italian pastries and desserts, and a special Italian coffee lounge will feature delicious lattes, cappuccinos and more on the outdoor terrace. Complimentary classes will also be offered to resort guests and to the public.

Princess Elena of Avalor to Appear at Princess Fairytale Hall

Beginning November 24, Princess Elena of Avalor -- the first Disney princess inspired by diverse Latin cultures -- will begin to greet guests alongside other royal friends at Princess Fairytale Hall in the Magic Kingdom. At Princess Fairytale Hall, guests can choose between a meeting with Elena and Cinderella or a visit with Rapunzel and Tiana. You can make FastPass+ arrangements for dates that include Elena appearances starting October 14. Princess Elena of Avalor first made her grand debut at Magic Kingdom back in August, with Cinderella officially welcoming her to the kingdom in "The Princess Elena Royal Welcome" show. This show will be performed several times a day on the Castle Forecourt Stage throughout the fall.
