A Disney Icon Is BACK at Walt Disney Imagineering For a Limited Time!

If you’re a longtime Disney fan, then there’s a good chance you’re familiar with former Disney Imagineer Joe Rohde.

Rohde was recently nominated as a Disney Legend for his involvement in the creation of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Pandora: World of Avatar, and even Disney’s Aulani in Hawaii. Now, we have another update on Rohde!

Walt Disney Imagineering shared on Instagram that Rohde would be leading a series of master class work sessions.

Here, current Imagineers will be able to learn from the man who helped create so many things that we love in the parks! Disney said, “Following in the footsteps of many former Imagineers, Joe continues to mentor and share his years of storytelling knowledge with current Imagineers, contributing to the future of creativity at Walt Disney Imagineering.”

Rohde himself even shared a video on Instagram with the caption, “Do a bit of work at the old farm.”

Okay, why are we crying? We think it’s awesome that current Imagineers currently have the opportunity to learn from such an icon, and now, a Disney Legend!

  1. I love this guy! One of the best! (I just wish they’d stop taking pics of him from his left side. That stretched-out ear lobe hole creeps me out SO much. LOL) Bravo to Joe! He’s awesome. Love his style.
