FULL Guide to the First-Ever Disney Channel Nite Event!

We hung out at the first-ever Disney Channel Nite in Disneyland!

Disney Channel Nite

March 5th was the first time Disney Channel Nite was available in Disneyland, and it brought out the kids in us! We couldn’t help but feel nostalgic as we saw some of our favorite childhood characters celebrating the event with us. So what is there all to see, do, and eat at Disney Channel Nite? Let’s find out!

Disney Channel Nite is an all-new Disneyland After Dark event added this year. It’s a specially paid ticket to spend extra time in the park. The second, and last event, of the year is happening on March 7th, so if you’re going that day, be ready for tons of fun!

Atmosphere

We saw lots of people dressed up and ready to party with the coolest Disney Channel characters! When we got to the park we noticed lots of people were there and ready to have a great time. Each person got a convenient pamphlet with extra details and a Disney Channel Nite badge.

You could also pick up a map that showed you where all the events and characters would be around the park throughout the night.

And after dark, Sleeping Beauty Castle became lit up and made us feel like kids watching TV at home again. “You’re watching Disney Channel.”

Speaking of entertainment, let’s see what we found!

Entertainment

There were lots of events happening around the park. You could party with Phineas & Ferb at a dance party at Tomorrowland Terrace, which was a total blast!

Then, we stopped along the streets to watch the new High School Musical Zombies Pep Rally. Think basketball, cheerleaders, and zombies in a big rally getting you ready for the game!

Disney Channel Rocks

A rock concert with classic Disney Channel songs was going on near “it’s a small world” throughout the night.

Camp Rock Karaoke

At the Golden Horseshoe, you could jam out to Camp Rock Karaoke! You could sing your favorite songs (we even heard Mr. Brightside sung at one point!).

Photo Ops

If you wanted to get your picture to commemorate this awesome night, a couple of throwback photo op stations were set up. You could get a That’s So Raven photo…

… or a Hannah Montana photo!

For more nostalgia, there was a throwback Disney Channel Original Movies photo op!

There’s even more to explore and do, but who is there to see?

Characters

Lots of your favorite characters were available throughout the night! We saw Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable in Adventureland.

Huey, Dewey, Louie, and their uncle Scrooge were hanging around Mickey’s Toontown.

Darkwing Duck, Launchpad McQuack, Mickey, Minnie, Rapunzel, and Flynn Ryder were all available in Fantasyland!

And Lilio, Stitch, and Experiments 629 and 010 were causing some ruckus in Tomorrowland.

Baloo, King Louie, and Don Karnage

These Talespin characters were visiting Adventureland and were ready to fly!

Food

Of course, our night isn’t complete if we aren’t trying some snacks! Check out this HUGE list of exclusive snacks you can find around the park.

Food options!

We tried the Bouncing Beary Beignets for $4.99 from the Mint Julep Bar. These were two Mickey-shaped beignets dusted with blueberry sugar and berry icing drizzle. Yum!

Then we tried the Loaded Dino Nuggies (talk about a blast from the past!) at the Golden Horseshoe for $12.99. You got french fries and dinosaur-shaped nuggets topped with nacho cheese and buffalo ranch sauce, garnished with sliced Fresno chiles, bacon bits, and green onion. Seriously, they’re loaded.

Well, that’s everything that we saw, did, and ate at the first Disney Channel Nite!

There’s even more going on at this event. It was a ton of fun, and we highly recommend checking it out. Hopefully, Disney will bring it back next year for more people to experience.

In the meantime, keep following AllEars!
