Your Guide to the BEST Eats and Drinks at the 2024 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival

WARNING. If you read this post hungry, you might just book yourself an immediate trip to EPCOT…not that that’s necessarily a bad thing. 😉

EPCOT

The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is taking place from February 28th through May 27th, and there are a LOT of different food and drink offerings available there. In fact, in 2024 there are 73 NEW menu items available. So where do you even begin? Well, we’ve got the list you need!

We’ve been making our way throughout EPCOT, eating at ALLLLLLLL the Flower and Garden Festival food booths (yeah, we love a good challenge), and sampling the new eats and drinks. So…suffice it to say, we’ve done our research!

EPCOT

So now it’s time to put that work to good use and share our list of the very BEST eats and drinks with you — both returning and new! But before we tackle some overall best eats and drinks, let’s get into the favorite picks from the members of our AllEars team!

WOO!

Quincy’s Favorites

Orange Sesame Tempura Shrimp — The Citrus Blossom (Returning Item)

Oh, it was a happy day when we saw this shrimp dish was coming back this year. When we had them last year, the shrimp were lightly fried and served in an orange-chile sauce. We loved the complex combination of flavors and found that they mixed well together, bringing a touch of citrus and spice to this savory dish.

Orange Sesame Tempura Shrimp 2023

Grab these for $7 and thank us later!

Croissant au Fromage de Chèvre, Herbes et Ail Rôtie — Fleur de Lys (Returning Item)

Love goat cheese? Love garlic? Love croissants? Then head over to the France pavilion and grab this dish ASAP. This snack is made of a croissant with Goat Cheese, Herbs, and Roasted Garlic. When we’ve had this in the past, the croissant has been wonderfully flaky (got that good lamination — shout-out to The Great British Bake Off fans), and the combination of other flavors has been really wonderful. This year it did not disappoint.

Croissant au Fromage de Chevre 2023

It’s a nice savory snack to enjoy in between some of the other sweet items at the Festival. Grab it for $6.95.

Chicken & Waffles — The Honey Bee-stro (Returning Item)

Y’all, we CANNOT get enough of these bad boys. This dish is made with crispy chicken and a honey sweet cornbread waffle with whipped honey butter and spicy honey. Sweet + spicy + crispy chicken + WHIPPED HONEY BUTTER = deliciousness. Don’t hesitate to get these.

Chicken & Waffles 2023

They were an instant hit with us last year and we could not be happier to see them on the menu again for $6.75 (hey, no price increase there — good news!).

Breedlove’s Favorites

Coconut Tres Leches — La Isla Fresca (Returning Item)

This plant-based dessert is one of our favorites! It’s soaked in almond, coconut, and oat milk which makes it super moist. The dairy-free whipped topping is super creamy and fluffy. Trust us, you don’t need to be on a plant-based diet to enjoy this cake!

Coconut Tres Leches

You can pick it up for $5.00!

IMPOSSIBLE Jamaican Beef Patty — La Isla Fresca (NEW)

We LOVED this new addition to the festival. It’s spiced really well and the crust is nice and flaky. The spicy papaya syrup on top gives hit a subtle spicy kick. If you like a bit of sweet and spicy, you gotta try this!

IMPOSSIBLE Jamaican Beef Patty

We grabbed it for $6.50!

Emma’s Favorites

Ramen Cup– Hanami (NEW)

This new item blew us away! It’s ramen in a cup that is served chilled. It’s a perfect snack for a hot Florida day. It has fresh vegetables, grilled chicken, and dashi broth, and there was no lack of flavor!

Ramen Cup

Grab it from the Hanami booth (at the Japan pavilion) for $8.50.

Fry Bucket’s Favorites

Sope de Chilorio — Jardin de Fiestas (NEW)

This is also new this year! It’s Sope de Chilorio with Guajillo pepper-braised pork on friend corn shells, black beans, shredded cabbage, crema Mexicana, queso fresco, and chives. That’s a lot going on, and it went so well together! We loved every bite, and think you will too.

Sope de Chilorio

You can get it at this festival booth for $8.50.

Spicy Chicken Gumbo — Magnolia Terrace (Returning Item)

We’ve enjoyed this dish each year, and the same can be said for this one. There’s a bit of a kick to it, and the chicken and sausage are really well cooked!

Gumbo

If you like a bit of heat, pick up the gumbo for $6.25.

Sage’s Favorites

Vanilla Soft Serve Barqs Red Creme Soda Float — Swirled Showcase (Returning Item)

This was the treat of our dreams. We couldn’t think of a single bad thing to say about this snack, and we don’t think you will either. You gotta try this. The vanilla ice cream withe the sweet cream soda was spectacular.

Ice Cream Float

Please, go try this float for $6.75.

Liquid Nitrogen Honey Mascarpone Cheesecake — Swirled Showcase (NEW)

The flavors here were phenomenal, but the texture is what sold us. The liquid nitrogen almost gives it a crystallized crunch followed by a soft yummy cheesecake, and then more crunchiness. Are you drooling yet?

Liquid Nitrogen Honey Mascarpone Cheesecake

Go grab it for $5.25.

Plant-based Buffalo Chicken Tender Poutine — Refreshment Port (Returning Item)

This was one of the best plant-based meals at the festival. The flavors were really and even took us by surprise! You get both blue cheese crumbles and ranch on top, which is a great added bonus.

Plant-based Buffalo Chicken Tender Poutine

Everything in this poutine, was delicious. Grab it for $10.

Okay, and now for some overall best eats and drinks!

Other Amazing Eats

These were the favorites from the rest of the AllEars team!

1 — Cinnamon Roll Bites — Brunchcot (Returning Item)

If you love sweet pastries and cream cheese frosting, buckle up because THIS is the dish for you. These beauties are made of fried cinnamon roll bites with cream cheese frosting AND candied bacon. Picture a cinnamon-sugar-coated pastry with cream cheese and yes, we can see all your dreams are coming true.

Cinnamon Roll Bites 2023

These are a true crowd-pleaser when they’re hot and fresh! Grab them for $5.

2 — IMPOSSIBLE Farmhouse Meatball — Trowel & Trellis (Returning Item)

Our reporter who tried this is not on a plant-based diet, and yet they raved about this! It’s a good portion with great flavor. We loved the aioli on top and the crunchy vegetables. It all worked so well together.

IMPOSSIBLE Meatball

Regardless of your diet preferences, we recommend trying this for $6.

3 — Soy Glazed Sticky Ribs — Trowel & Trellis (Returning Item)

The sticky ribs at the same booth as the meatball, were also fantastic. They were sticky and sweet, and absolutely wonderful! You won’t mind getting a little messy while eating these savory ribs. Our one complaint is that we would have loved more meat on the bones.

Sticky Ribs

These are $7 and worth every penny.

4 — Chocolate Mousse Terrarium — Trowel & Trellis (NEW)

This cute dessert takes the idea of a living terrarium to an edible one! The matcha crumble on top was light and yummy, while the chocolate “dirt” was rich, creamy, and smooth! If you like chocolate that’s sweet, but not too sweet, you gotta try this.

Chocolate Mousse Terrarium

We recommend spending the $5.50 for it!

5 — Toasted Pretzel Bread — Bauernmarkt: Farmer’s Market (Returning Item)

Bread with melted, gooey cheese and black forest ham? Yep, we’re all over it and loving it! It’s perfection, and cheese and bread lovers everywhere will want to run to EPCOT right now to try it.

Toasted Pretzel Bread

It’s $6, and we thought about going back for seconds.

6 — Strawberry Rhubarb Upside Down Cake — Farmers Feast

This next item won’t be around for long, so if you want to try it, you need to grab it before March 30th! It is FABULOUS. Y’all, it’s the Goldilocks of desserts. Not too sweet, but just sweet enough — it’s just right. The cake is soft and moist, and everything goes so well together.

Strawberry Rhubarb Upside Down Cake

If you make to EPCOT before it disappears, it’s worth the $4.75!

7 — Beef Tenderloin Tips — Northern Bloom

It would be weird if we didn’t have something from the Canada pavilion booth on our best of the fest list. These tenderloin tips were incredibly tender. You can pull them apart like a pot roast. The beef isn’t the only good part, either. The mashed potatoes were buttery and fluffy — the best way to mashed potatoes.

Beef Tenderloin Tips

Don’t miss these for $7.25.

Best Drinks

1 — Hibiscus Lemonade Cocktail — EPCOT Farmers Feast (Returning Item)

If you’re looking for another drink that’ll make your Instagram friends incredibly jealous, grab the Hibiscus Lemonade Cocktail, made with Islamorada Brewery & Distillery Hibiscus Gin. When we’ve had it in the past, the drink has been fruity, sweet, and very photographable.

Hibiscus Lemonade Cocktail 2021

This drink is available at the EPCOT Farmers Feast booth for $12 throughout the entire Festival. But be warned, several other offerings at this booth do change depending on the dates you visit, so that’s something you’ll want to keep in mind.

2 — Frozen Lemon Tea Cocktail — EPCOT Farmers Feast (NEW)

This is essentially a bourbon slush with hints of lemon tea. It’s great for anyone who is a bourbon drinker!

Frozen Lemon Tea Cocktail

It’s available for $12.

3 — Tropical Slush — La Isla Fresca (Returning Item)

We could rave about this slush all day — but we’ll try to keep it short. This is available with or without Don Q Límon Rum, and either way we think you’ll like it. It’s a great drink to cool down with. The flavors work so well together. It has a stronger grapefruit flavor than a lemonade flavor, but the two go well together!

Tropical Slush

We would suggest stopping by to try this drink for $4.50 without alcohol and $11.50 with rum at Breedlove’s favorite stand!

Best of Garden Graze

Did you know that there is a FOOD CHALLENGE at the Flower & Garden Festival? It’s TRUE! It’s called the Garden Graze Food Stroll. Basically, Disney provides a list of eligible food items for this quest. Each time you get one of the eligible items, you’ll get a sticker. Collect 5 stickers and you can get a PRIZE (in the past this has been a DOLE Whip with a souvenir cup).

You can see ALL of the eligible food items for the Garden Graze Food Stroll here. Our favorite? Don’t miss out on the IMPOSSIBLE Farmhouse Meatball! Seriously, it’s that good and it can help you win a prize.

  1. Can’t wait to get there and try them all. Just a note regarding the supposed “soft serve.” It is more a vanilla flavored Dole whip consistency. It is definitely not traditional soft serve.
