Nobody Thinks This Is Worth It in Disney World, But Here’s Why You Should Do It Anyway

Let’s talk about Disney fun outside of the parks!

I love fun in Disney World!

Disney World is constantly full of new and exciting things like the return of the Disney dining plan, the walls coming down in EPCOT, and all-day park hopping coming back soon but what about some exciting things that aren’t so new? Let’s talk about one of the best-hidden gems in Disney World!

Around Disney World, you can find three different spots for some silly family fun outside of the theme parks! If you didn’t already know, Disney World has two miniature golf courses and while most people skip them I don’t think you should!

Winter Summerland

The three mini golf spots are Disney’s Fantasia Gardens, Disney’s Fantasia Fairways,  and Disney’s Winter Summerland. You can find Fantasia Gardens and Fairways over by the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve and Winter Summerland over by Blizzard Beach.

All three of the courses are so detailed and offer different amounts of challenges and fun no matter what age you are! These spots tend to be less crowded compared to the theme parks and Disney Springs. This allows for a lot more relaxation and virtually no wait while having fun

A look at the course!

Another reason I love these courses is they’re a lot more budget-friendly than some options around Disney World. For children ages 3-9, it’s $12, and for adults, it’s $19. This is a great activity on one of your rest days from the theme park to help you and your kiddos burn steam without breaking the bank! (Which I know can sometimes be a challenge in Disney World.)

Fantasia Gardens Mini Golf

In my opinion, these courses are also so well-themed that it just adds to the fun! My personal favorite is Fantasia Gardens course which is themed to Disney’s classic movie “Fantasia”. It takes you through 5 different scenes where you can see hippos in tutus, ostriches doing ballet, and the famous marching broomsticks

The courses are so fun and a great way to get the entire family involved in one thing together (and with a little healthy competition too!).

Thanks to avoiding crowds, saving some money, and getting the whole family involved, this is a spot I genuinely think you should swing by on your next trip to Walt Disney World. Don’t forget to keep following AllEarsNet for all of your Disney planning tips and tricks!

  1. I concur, especially about the Fantasia Gardens. The layout and statuary are so creative and fun. And, unless I’m mistaken, you can also hear the beautiful strains of the Fantasia music when playing the course.
