runDisney offers many different themed events throughout the year and it’s a fun way to see the Disney parks in a new way — by running a race through them! Now, we’ve got news about the 2024-2025 runDisney races!
Disney just released the schedule for the 2024-2025 season of runDisney races! Here’s a full breakdown of the races:
The runDisney Virtual Series will happen from June 1st to August 31st, 2024. Virtual Event Registration opens on March 26th, 2024.
Next is a brand new race from runDisney — it’s the Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend! This will take place from September 5th to September 8th, 2024. Club runDisney registration opens on February 6th, 2024 and general registration opens on February 13th, 2024.
Heading over to Disney World, the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend will run from October 31st to November 3rd, 2024. Club runDisney registration opens on March 5th, 2024 before general registration is available starting on March 12th, 2024.
In 2024, Disney is also bringing back the runDisney Virtual 12Ks of Christmas! These occur from December 1st to 31st, 2024 with registration opening on July 9th, 2024.
The Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend now has dates for 2025 — these races are set for January 8th through 12th, 2025. Mark your calendars for April because Club runDisney registration opens on April 2nd and general registration opens on April 9th, 2024.
Disneyland runDisney races are returning in 2024, but we already have dates for the 2025 Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend! The events will take place from January 30th to February 2nd, 2025 with Club runDisney registration open on June 11th, 2024, and general registration open on June 18th, 2024.
The fan-favorite Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend is returning to Disney World from February 20th-24th, 2025! Registration opens on July 23rd, 2024 for Club runDisney members and on July 30th, 2024 for everyone else.
And finally, the runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend will happen from April 3rd to 6th, 2025. For these events, Club runDisney registration opens on August 20th, 2024 with general registration opening a week later on August 27th, 2024.
There are so many other exciting things coming to the Disney parks in 2024 including Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, changes to Park Passes and Genie+, and so much more.
