ALERT: We Found 2 NEW Loungefly Backpacks in Disney World!

Wall of Loungefly Bags

On a trip out to Disney’s Animal Kingdom recently we spotted these two new designs that we think are adorable.

You can find both of the new Loungefly bags at Discovery Trading Company in Animal Kingdom. But good news! You don’t even have to be in the parks to get these backpacks — they’re also online at shopDisney.

Disney critters seem to be just about everywhere lately! We’ve seen Disney critter merchandise popping up in apparel and even a few Dooney & Bourke designs, and this new bag seems like it might be our favorite yet.

This new Loungefly mini-backpack is loaded with some of our favorite Disney characters. A quick glance allowed us to spot a few friends from Pocahontas, like Meeko and Percy; Marie from The Aristocats; Copper from Fox and the Hound; Figaro; Hei Hei from Moana, and more! Each of the animated characters is either outlined or filled in with a light pastel blue. The pops of color in the yellow, navy blue, and coral conversation bubbles add just the right amount of spunk that we love about this design.

The side view of this bag shows the gold metal hardware used for the zipper on the front pocket and main backpack. There are two smaller pockets on each side that sit just under the main zipper pulls.

The backside of this mini-backpack carries the front design all the way through and is nicely complimented with the light blue faux leather straps.

Tinker Bell was the subject of the next mini-backpack to be spotted.

We really liked the switch in the design of this bag where the front pocket is more flush with the backpack but taller allowing more room for the front image.

Tinker Bell is set against a black and gold accented background among things normally found in a sewing basket like buttons, buckles, and safety pins.

We thought this was a really cute call back to a scene in Peter Pan where Tink is accidentally locked in a sewing draw as Wendy hurries to sew on Peter’s shadow.

The backside of this bag shows an excited Tink popping out of an orange keyhole in the drawer just as she did in the movie. The faux leather straps on this one are a shiny gold color mimicking pixie dust. This bag was priced at $98 and is also available on shopDisney.
