This year marks the 70th-anniversary of the Disney animated classic Cinderella! And what better way to celebrate the magical tale than with some beautiful treats?
While we already told you about the lovely pumpkin coach cake that rolled its way into Magic Kingdom, today we’re bringing you a few new treats bibbidi, bobbidi, boo’ed their way into Disney World !
It’s time to take a trip on the Monorail, because Disney’s Monorail resorts are celebrating Cinderella in a big way!
Polynesian Resort
First up is Pineapple Lanai at the Polynesian Resort, where they are offering a limited-time Cinderella Ice Cream!
Available for $5.99, this lovely treat is vanilla ice cream that’s been dyed Cinderella’s iconic light blue. It’s covered in crispy pearls, and edible glitter for bit of extra magic! To finish it off, there’s a white chocolate clock that’s five minutes to midnight.
But the Cinderella Ice Cream isn’t the only celebratory sweet at the Polynesian! Over at Kona Cafe, you can pick up this very special Glass Slipper Cupcake.
Available for $5.99, this cupcake is made with yellow cake, topped with vanilla buttercream, lots of crystalized sugar, and finished with a white chocolate “glass” slipper! Inside, the blue theme continues, as it’s filled with full blueberries.
Grand Floridian Resort
Next up, we’re heading to Gasparilla Island Grill at the Grand Floridian Resort, who are serving up the Cinderella Cake Pop.
Available for $8, the treat is shaped like Cinderella’s iconic carriage. The cake pop is triple chocolate cake covered in a light blue coating, and finished off with white chocolate wheels.
