Food took to long to be served. Waiter did not make sure we had refills on drinks. Heard an employee was sick, coughing and just spreading what he had to the customers. Pretty bad that a family restaurant does not allow their employees to call off when they are sick.
Pros:
Rainforest theme.Cons:
Waited too long for seating. Wait too long for food. Food was not very good. Sick employees all over the placeReviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 04/04/2024

Many of the employees were coughing and sick. I was not comfortable there with employees being sick and wonder if people in the kitchen were sick too. Amazing a restaurant allows for sick employees to infect guests
Pros:
Fun looking atmosphereCons:
Food took to long to get after ordering. Expensive and the fact employees sick.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 12/03/2023

Let me start off with I am a Florida local and I love Rainforest Cafe and their food. They are more on the pricy side but you get a good size portion and the theming is incredible. My son and I just went for the first time to Breakfast here at Animal Kingdom's Rainforest and the food was good. Not the best I have ever had but certainly not the worst. I always bring friends or family who come to visit to one of the 3 (Rainforest Disney Springs or Animal Kingdom, T-Rex Café). They do not get the credit they truly deserve which is such a shame. I have never had a just a mediocre meal let a lone a bad meal ever nor has anyone I have brought with me.
Pros:
Theming is unmatched, food is good.Cons:
Price, and yes the food and drinks are gimmicking though (what else would you expect in a tourist area?).Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 11/22/2023

I always go to Rainforest Cafe when here. The theming is amazing and is great for kids. The food is just OK and a bit pricey but the kids menu offers plenty of great options.
Pros:
Great theming and it is great for familiesCons:

This is fun for the kids and is conveniently located at the entrance of the park. It’s great to hit up on your way out of AK.

We're a family of four with two adventurous eaters (adults) and two picky eaters (kids). We ate lunch at Rainforest Cafe in July 2022. Our kids immediately loved this restaurant because of the theming, and they were delighted with their dinosaur-shaped chicken nuggets. When we ask them about their best dining experiences at Disney, this is one of their top restaurants. My husband and I enjoyed the meal here mostly because the kids enjoyed the meal here. We had the appetizer platter to share and then each had a sandwich. The appetizer platter was very good, especially the spinach-artichoke dip. The sandwiches were unimpressive. Overall, we thought the prices here were very good for a restaurant on Disney property. If we plan a future Disney trip, our kids will definitely want to eat at Rainforest Cafe again.
Pros:
Theming Kid-friendly Generous portions Decent prices Good serviceCons:
Nothing special about the foodReviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 07/27/2022

This restaurant was such a disappointment! It is conveniently located at the front of the park so that was one thing we appreciated. The atmosphere is fun with all the different animatronic animals (although they are clearly not up to Disney standards making them a bit underwhelming.) The food was the real issue here as well as the alcoholic beverages. The coconut shrimp tasted like it was straight from a frozen meal. My boyfriends cheeseburger was also low quality. The mixed drinks are super sugary sweet and way over priced because of the souvenir glass they come in.(Which apparently you can opt not to buy but our server did not inform us of that.) Save your money and opt for another dining option.
Pros:
Located at front of park Fun atmosphere for the kiddosCons:

The decor has become horribly dated and is dusty and dirty. Food was over cooked. The burger was so salty it was inedible. Not even worth it for the atmosphere
