Limited Time Magic features unexpected experiences with an extra sprinkle of Pixie Dust
at Disneyland Resort and the Walt Disney World Resort that’ll appear for a “limited
time”.

The Limited Time Magic may include
special entertainment, events, souvenirs or surprises!
The Limited Time Magic will change from week to week.
Disneyland and Walt Disney World will usually have
different magic celebrations (but some may be the same).

Salute Veterans at Magic Kingdom Park November 11 to November 15, 2013

This Veterans Day, help honor the brave heroes who have defended our country with a special Flag Retreat
Ceremony each evening in Town Square, only at Magic Kingdom park! Cheer the proud sounds and patriotic
music of the Main Street Philharmonic as well as the Voices of Liberty, all while saluting the special
Veteran of the Day flag bearer, and the Honorary Color Guard too. It’s a truly wonderful tribute to our
nation’s heroes, an event that’s bigger than a single day… but one that’s still only happening for a
limited time, courtesy of Limited Time Magic—from November 11 to November 15, 2013.

Celebrate the Magic New Villains Show – Began September 1

The Celebrate the Magic! castle show in the Magic Kingdom has a “Limited Time Magic” special
segment. New in this edition are various villains to honor of Halloween season.

2013 is the “Year of the Ear” at Disney Parks. Every month, Disney Parks will release new ear
hats to add to your collection as part of “Limited Time Magic.”

Now through November 1, have a ghostly time at The Happy Haunted Horseshoe!

Shows at the Halloween-themed Diamond
Horseshoe in Frontierland run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., featuring hostess Miss Betty Blue, along with the
Cadaver Dans, Dearly Departed Stan the piano man, and magician Abner Cadaver. Ongoing Limited Time Magic
offerings at Walt Disney World include the Autumn Trolley Show on Main Street USA and the Celebrate the Magic Show with Villains.

SEPTEMBER 23-29: PIRATES WEEK!

A pirate’s life will be a wonderful life at the Magic Kingdom and Disneyland parks where, from September
23-29, 2013, swashbucklers and scallywags are being celebrated during Pirates Week, all part of Disney
Parks Limited Time Magic. The daily festivities will include special appearances from the likes of
seafarers such as Captain Hook, Captain Jack Sparrow or Jake from “Jake and the Never Land Pirates,”
tales and tunes performed by pirate bands, and a fleet of fun for the entire family at The Pirates
League.

At Walt Disney World, The Rusty Cutlass pirate band will entertain you in Caribbean Plaza at Magic
Kingdom Park with tales and tunes, while Captain Hook, Pirate Goofy and Jake from “Jake and the
Never Land Pirates” make appearances in the park. There will be a special pirate pre-parade ahead
of daily performances of the “Celebrate a Dream Come True” Parade and if you sign on with the
Pirate’s League earlier in the day, you may find yourself recruited to join Jake, Captain Hook, Mr. Smee
and their crew for a procession along Main Street, U.S.A.

Also for Pirate week, The Pirates League at Magic Kingdom Park will have a mini-makeovers available for
adults, called Skulls and Skurry. And from September 23 to September 29, while supplies last, you will
receive complimentary pirate teeth to complete your look, if you take part in a transformation at The

Tour Disney’s Hollywood Studios with an Official Disney Ambassador, September 16-20,
2013.

Discover a new view of the grandeur at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! As part of Limited Time Magic, you can
follow an official Walt Disney World Ambassador on a tour of the park. Created by Walt Disney in 1965,
the Disney Ambassador Program has carried on a rich heritage of imaginative storytelling and goodwill
service for Disney. Come learn more about the story of the park’s history — including fun facts and
icons you may have missed — before enjoying a “walk” through of one of its most popular
attractions, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. This tour sets out from the park entrance once a day at
9:30 a.m. and space is limited — register at the Disney Parks Blog.

Unleash the Villains: Friday the 13th in September 2013

Coming Friday, September 13, get ready to experience the most spine-tingling bit of Limited Time Magic
yet at Walt Disney World Resort! From 8:00 PM until 1:00 AM—a.k.a. the 13th hour—the Disney Villains
will be waiting for your arrival as they make their way to the dead center of Disney’s Hollywood
Studios. Come along for this devilishly delicious affair, on a night jam-packed with13 dastardly Disney
baddies and a host of fiendish festivities. It’s a one-time event you won’t soon forget… even if you
try! And be on the lookout for further announcements and more details as the date of the event draws
closer, only at Disney Parks!

The Dog Days of Summer – August 26 – September 2nd

The “Dog Days of Summer” are coming to an end, but with a little Limited Time Magic, there’s
still another chance to party during this celebration of man’s best friend! Wag your way over to
Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom park, where you can dance along to the tunes of
DJ K-9, right alongside popular Disney pups like Pluto, Bolt and Dug too. You may even spot Lilo’s
“dog” Stitch crashing the block party while you enjoy all the fun games, tasty food and
refreshing cool zones—including the watery antics of Drip the fire hydrant. Don’t miss this chance
celebrate the summertime before it’s gone completely to the dogs!

Return of the Dapper Dans – The “Original Boy Band” – August 19 – 25, 2013

 The Dapper Dans are back with a new kind of music that they discovered while “strolling through
the park one day.” Watch for this winsome quartet and their all-new medley that will have “Everybody”
seeing “What Makes You Beautiful.” But they won’t be saying “Bye Bye Bye” to
barbershop completely—after all, the Dapper Dans are the “Original Boy Band.” Part of Limited
Time Magic, this musical time warp is a can’t-miss experience at Magic Kingdom park in Florida. Video is

Summer Trolley Show on Main Street USA – June 2 – ?

The citizens
of Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom
have a new summer edition of the Trolley Show.

Celebrate the Magic New Summer Show – Began May 24th

The Celebrate the Magic! castle show in the Magic Kingdom has a “Limited Time Magic”
special segment. New in this edition are Phineas and Ferb, the Little Mermaid, and Lilo and
Stitch.

Attend a Teen Beach Movie Beach Party – June 24 – September 1

At Typhoon Lagoon water park, DJs will fill the air with retro remixes and other fun activites. The
celebrities in this video only appeared one day and are not at the party.

 

Monsters University Bash at Disney’s Hollywood Studios June 14 – end of summer

A special Monsters University homecoming party will take place nightly from 6:00pm – 10:00pm. DJ
“Monster of Scare-amonies” will provide the music and Mike, Sulley, and the Monsters
University Cheerleaders will be on hand for the University Fight Song rally!

July 8 – 14 — Experience Mickey’s America Streetbeat

Soak up the sounds of a little Limited Time Magic as America Gardens Theatre comes alive at Epcot,
thanks to the musical performances of “Mickey’s America Streetbeat.” For a limited time,
join Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald as they come together with an energetic troupe of young
performers—watch the fun unfold as they take part in an over-the-top display of hip hop, percussion
and acrobatics. From the rhythm and tunes to the tap-dancing of their shoes, it’s set to be one
incredible jam you won’t want to miss!

JULY 1-7- Independence Week

It’s red, white and blue as Disney Parks salutes America with a 4th of July Fireworks Party — for an
entire week, with patriotic lighting bathing the Disney castles on both coasts. Mickey Mouse appears in
his patriotic finest and guests will find special USA shirts, Ear Hats and other limited-edition
souvenirs.

It’s a seven-day patriotic extravaganza as Disney Parks honor America with a Fourth of July
celebration like never before. At Magic Kingdom, a 15-minute 360-degree fireworks spectacular
rockets into the air every night with “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in
the Sky.”

Guests can enjoy a patriotic spectacle as Goofy, Donald and Pluto lead a spirited procession down
Main Street, U.S.A, prior to the daily Celebrate a Dream Come True parade at Magic Kingdom. The
rousing pre-parade features the Main Street Philharmonic, Citizens of Main Street and Walt
Disney’s historic horse-drawn calliope.

 

Patriotic-themed merchandise and tasty treats inspired by Americana will also be on the menu all
week long.

Vote for Long-Lost Friends Characters June 21-25

The first Long Lost friends week was a great success. Now Walt Disney World fans can vote
for who to see next time!
Some characters are not so long lost and others are. No date yet
on when the next Long Lost friends will appear in the parks.

 

Specials ONLY on July 4, 2013

Epcot: Discovery Experiences at American Adventure spotlight American history and heritage. Guests
can meet with Disney characters adorned in patriotic dress. An afternoon of live entertainment kicks
off at 12:30 p.m. in the America Gardens Theatre with the Voices of Liberty Fourth of July concert.
This holiday special is a harmonizing partnership of the eight-part, a capella Voices of
Liberty, Spirit of America Fife and Drum Corps and Disney characters. The Heartbeat of Freedom, a
special tribute following IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth lights up the sky at 10 p.m.

  • Characters in patriotic dress are on set from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and from 3:30 – 6 p.m.
    outside near Kidcot (under the porte-cochere)
  • Voices of Liberty showtimes at America Gardens Theatre are 12:30, 1:45, and 3 p.m.  They are
    also doing two sets inside the American Adventure Rotunda at 4:15 and 5 p.m.
  • Special showtimes for Slippery When Wet (Sounds Like Summer concert series) on the Fourth of
    July are 5:15, 6:30, 7:45, and 9 p.m.

At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, enjoy a twist on traditional fireworks with the all-new “Rockin’ 4th
of July Celebration”. The party begins at the Sorcerer Hat with a DJ at 6 pm.  At 7, 8, 9 and 10
p.m., Mulch, Sweat & Shears will take you on a musical road trip through America. Everything leads
up to a special rock ‘n roll fireworks presentation at 10:15 p.m.

Monstrous 24-Hour “All-Nighter” – May 24th

From 6:00 a.m. on May 24 to 6:00 a.m. on May 25,
enjoy all the monster-themed madness inside Magic Kingdom
park at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, as well
as Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure
park in California. From special entertainment and
monstrous merchandise to frightening food and boo-verages,
this “All-Nighter” is
shaping up to be one scary good time!

Everything kicks-off with special opening moments
in front of the parks, leading up to park opening at
6 a.m., and then you’re off and running for 24 hours
of fun!

At Magic Kingdom Park, Mike and
Sulley from this summer’s new Disney-Pixar film “Monsters
University” will pop in
at the “Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It!” Street Party,
and serve as Grand Marshals during a special pre-parade,
complete with a cheer squad, flag corps and a marching
band playing the MU Fight Song. You can catch this
procession just ahead of each of that day’s two performances
of the “Celebrate a Dream Come True” Parade.

In Tomorrowland,
the Rockettower Plaza Stage plays host to a “Monster
Mania” DJ Dance Party
from 4 – 9 p.m. and “Monsters
University Movie Night”
from 11 p.m. – 5 a.m.,
featuring back-to-back showings of the original “Monsters,
Inc.” and an opportunity to meet Mike and Sulley. Finally,
you can dance the night away at Disney’s Up All
Night Dance Party
at Cinderella Castle, keeping
things lively from 2 – 5:45 a.m.

Spring Trolley Show on Main Street USA – March 3 – May 23

The citizens
of Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom
park are bursting with excitement now that spring is in
the air. Dressed to the nines in bright pastels and with a few new songs in their hearts, they arrive in
town on a horse-drawn trolley adorned with colorful bouquets of flowers and ribbons. Put a little spring
in your step and join in the celebration—another part of Limited Time Magic at Walt Disney World Resort.

Cinco de Mayo/Fiesta May 5-11, 2013

Limited
Time Magic offerings for this week include a weeklong
Cinco de Mayo celebration in the Mexico pavilion at
Epcot. You can meet the Three Caballeros — Panchito,
Jose Carioca and el Pato Donald — and join in with
a variety of performances, from delightful marionettes
and folkloric dancing to the incomparable Mariachi
Cobre. San Angel Inn and La Hacienda join in the celebration
by offering special Cinco de Mayo menus with authentic
drinks, appetizers, entrees and dessert options to
celebrate the occasion!

A fun-filled day that included special Jedi Training Academy shows (where adults were
allowed to participate), a special Star Wars Dance Party with Jedi Mickey and many

Spring Fling March 25 – 31

Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny will continue to greet guests at Bunny Lane (next to City Hall) in the Magic
Kingdom. They will take part in an Easter procession down Main Street and be accompanied by butterflies,
flowers and dancing hippos!

In Epcot, Mr. and Mrs. Bunny will make appearances at the United Kingdom pavilion. Easter egg hunts will
be held there as well as in Future World

Voices of Liberty, the a cappella group, is honoring Presidents Day for a
limited time with musical performances at the America Gardens Theatre at Epcot.

bring to life some inspirational moments from our nation’s history with impeccable 8-part
harmonies accompanied by memorable quotes from American Presidents like Theodore Roosevelt,

FEBRUARY 1 – 4, 2013

Super Bowl Parade – There will be a super pre-parade
celebration just ahead of the daily performances of
the “Celebrate a Dream Come True” parade at Magic Kingdom
Park. It’ll feature Disney football star Goofy and
some Central Florida youth football champions. You
can also expect to see Walt Disney World Resort
cheerleaders
and two of the nuttiest
referees
this side of the 50-yard line and
other character favorites.

    • There will be a special ticker-tape parade down
      Main Street, U.S.A., after the big game on February
      4. Watch the Disney Parks Blog for more information
      on that parade.
    • Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe will have
      new menu items that commemorate the super Sunday celebration. Special
      “Soup-er Bowls”
      representing the
      teams will be available for one-week only, from February
      1 – 9. Savor the Lobster Bisque and Tomato Basil Bisque
      only available as part of our “Limited Time Magic”
      celebration.

Long Lost Friends Week: Long-lost
Disney friends are returning to the Magic Kingdom Park
for one week, January
21–27
. Be sure to have your camera ready for a
rare chance to possibly brush shoulders with classic
characters like Clarabelle Cow and Horace Horsecollar;
Robin Hood, Prince John, Sheriff of Nottingham and Friar Tuck; The Big Bad Wolf and Three Little
Pigs; Scrooge McDuck and Ludwig Von Drake; and Geppetto, Pinocchio, and Jiminy Cricket.

Everyone is located in Town Square area in the Magic Kingdom. The Loud Speaker will announce when
the Long Lost Friends are about to arrive. All the characters come out and then finish their 30
minute set at the same time. Times are not on the Times Guide.

You are not allowed to get character autographs. After you have your photograph with the
characters the Character Handler (blue shirt) will give you an autograph card keepsake (see
below).

The latest “extra sprinkle of Pixie Dust” begins
Monday, January 14, at the Canada Pavilion in Epcot.

The
forecast at Epcot this week is sunny with a chance
of flurries. For one week only, January 14-20, there
will be a magical Winter Wonderland location with
falling snow where you and your family can meet and
take photos with some of your favorite Disney characters.
It’s an all new character greeting location in the
Canada Pavilion. Times for the Winter Wonderland location
at Epcot are: 10:30 a.m. – 2:10 p.m. and 3:05 p.m.
– 5:45 p.m. There’s more to come. You can also find

Limited Time Magic begins in the
Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland’s first ever “Bling
in the New Year
” dance party.

  • For an entire week, children of all ages can celebrate
    the start of 2013. You’ll be able to watch live entertainment
    on Rockettower Plaza Stage, dance
    to great music and celebrate with some of your favorite
    Disney characters – all dressed in their New Year’s
    best. And if you can’t stay up until midnight, there
    will be a New Year’s countdown every hour leading up
    to midnight. The celebration begins on December
    30 and runs through January 5.
