We ate here on Father’s Day evening 2023. The service was really poor! My husband was served a drink in a cracked glass, we received our food late, drinks were few and far between and took forever to come out to the table, we were given no steak knives. I expected way better than this!
Pros:
Soup was goodCons:
Slow service, poor potatoes, overall average foodReviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 05/30/2023

My most recent trip to Steakhouse 71 was quite the disappointment. This was my first time dining during dinner. The Cast Members were excellent, no complaints there. But the food was so subpar. I knowingly chose a tougher cut of steak (sirloin.) However, it was such an odd cut that brought so much chewiness to the point I had to spit out parts of it. The potatoes au gratin was okay, nothing to write home about. I chose the sauce flight because I wanted to try a little bit of everything. I didn't enjoy a single sauce, and I love sauces. Luckily it was only $6, but otherwise a complete waste of money. My dining counterparts enjoyed their prime rib and filet mignon. The mushrooms are definitely one of the best sides. The mashed potatoes were tasty but had an odd texture. I did opt for the French onion soup for an appetizer and thought it was delicious. I was hopeful that would set the tone for the rest of the meal, but it did not. I wasted half my dinner because it just wasn't appealing or appetizing. My advice is to carefully consider what you order.
Pros:
Price, appetizersCons:

It was not worth the time or money! We had a variety of special diet needs, one of them a gluten free roll for the sandwich. This might be the worst sandwich experience ever...odd tasting, not especially hot or delicious, the fries on the side were limp and flavorless. I expected better, as the last time I visited this location,it was to enjoy the Wave. (RIP Wave)
Pros:
easy location to findCons:
food was subpar, didn't taste fresh, it felt like a cheap counter service experience at a table service cost.Reviewed by Alyoop Review Date: 05/21/2022

Had the stack burger Molly raved about and the restaurant said is their signature dish for lunch with truffle waffle fries. The fries were the best part. We both thought the burger was not great and had a really odd taste. Wish we would have gone for dinner to try a steak instead but there were no reservations available for weeks before we were going and we didn't know farther out than that.
Pros:
The waffle fries were not bad.Cons:
Could barely eat half our burgers and my husband's favorite food group is burgers.Reviewed by mcarolla Review Date: 03/01/2022

We ate here since it was new. After seeing Molly order the sauce sampler with her meal we had to get one with our steaks. Honestly the sauces were good but otherwise everything was underwhelming. The service was awfully slow and our waiter was nice. Unsure if they weren’t trained fully or not since it was only open a few weeks.

We always enjoyed going to The Wave for lunch so Steakhouse 71 was a bit disappointing. Of course the selection here is limited, as most Disney resorts seem to be after reopening. Prime rib sandwich was ok, onion rings not so good. Burger was good. Probably will not be going back there is better food at Disney springs
Pros:
Good serviceCons:

We had dinner at Steakhouse 71 Christmas Eve. While it was OK we won't go back. There are better restaurants at WDW to spend that kind of money.
Pros:
Service was good. Tables weren't jammed together. The crab cakes were very good.Cons:
The food was just OK. One in our party had a steak, ordered medium rare, and it was more done than medium. The overall flavor of the steak was so-so as well. We went to Le Cellier later in the trip and it put Steakhouse 71 to shame. Another in the party had the salmon. While it wasn't overcooked it didn't have great flavor.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 01/11/2022

Honestly pretty meh
The staff was very friendly and the pictures of old Disney was cool and the drinks were good but the food wasn’t great
I’ve heard astonishing things about the burger but mine was fairly bland, the pork belly was old and dry and the mountain of red onions was kinda off putting
And double that because my girlfriends was the same
Pros:
A comfy place with good drinksCons:

This has become our favorite lunch spot for casual table service and we stopped here again on 3/7/24. I had the gourmet grilled cheese and fries, DH had the turkey club and we shared the onion rings. I know...pretty basic food hard to mess up but it was absolutely delicious and our waitress (lainey, I think) could not have been better. The price is tolerable for Disney and the atmosphere is great.
