The decor has become horribly dated and is dusty and dirty. Food was over cooked. The burger was so salty it was inedible. Not even worth it for the atmosphere
Pros:
Service was prompt and politeCons:

We dined here on 4/9/2015. We arrived-time for a 5:00p reservation for 9 people, including 4 adults, 4 kids and a toddler. We were seated n a reasonable amount of time as we were among the first round of dinner tables for the night. Service initially was pretty good. the waiter brought us our drinks and took orders in a timely manner. It was at that point that things went south. We asked if there were any crackers or bread we could give the toddler as she was getting hungry and cranky. We were told flatly, no, and given no options. The kids all ordered slushy drinks in special cups, and we were told they could have free refills. We later were told that the machine was broken, which was clearly a lie as other diners around us were being brought the same drinks. The food took 90 minutes to arrive at the table - far too long for hungry, tired kids, and a group expecting to make it to EPCOT for Illuminations (keep in mind, our reservation was for 5:00p). Once we got our food, the waiter was impossible to find. He finally arrived back at our table to take dessert orders, and told us that if we wanted a Volcano, it would count as dessert for the entire table (8 credits on the meal plan ?!?). We commented on the fact that we had been in the restaurant for now over 2 hours, and we needed to go, so he offered to box up our desserts "to go". This amounted to chocolate cake for the adults and pudding for the kids, in Styrofoam containers (!). The cake was fine, but the pudding was an impossible mess. One of our party wanted ice cream with the cake, which he gave us, also in Styrofoam container (wish I was making this up). We were not offered spoons or forks, and he re-ran the receipt to charge us an additional $0.79 for the ice cream. Can you imagine the mess?
AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!! Stick with the Disney run restaurants - you'll be much happier in the end.

Many of the employees were coughing and sick. I was not comfortable there with employees being sick and wonder if people in the kitchen were sick too. Amazing a restaurant allows for sick employees to infect guests
Pros:
Fun looking atmosphereCons:
Food took to long to get after ordering. Expensive and the fact employees sick.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 04/13/2024

Food took to long to be served. Waiter did not make sure we had refills on drinks. Heard an employee was sick, coughing and just spreading what he had to the customers. Pretty bad that a family restaurant does not allow their employees to call off when they are sick.

We had previously eaten at the Rainforest Cafe in DTD and found it lacking. We decided to try again but for breakfast. Again we were disappointed. The food was okay but not worth the price. Our service left a lot to be desired. It took almost 45 min from the time we ordered until we received our food, in a half empty restaurant. We won't be going back.

This restaurant was such a disappointment! It is conveniently located at the front of the park so that was one thing we appreciated. The atmosphere is fun with all the different animatronic animals (although they are clearly not up to Disney standards making them a bit underwhelming.) The food was the real issue here as well as the alcoholic beverages. The coconut shrimp tasted like it was straight from a frozen meal. My boyfriends cheeseburger was also low quality. The mixed drinks are super sugary sweet and way over priced because of the souvenir glass they come in.(Which apparently you can opt not to buy but our server did not inform us of that.) Save your money and opt for another dining option.
Pros:
Located at front of park Fun atmosphere for the kiddosCons:

I've eaten at Rainforest Cafe several times and it is just okay. The animatronics are good and children do love them, but they're not up to Disney standards. The food is standard sports bar food and is okay. This wouldn't be my first choice and I would probably skip this.
Pros:
Kids love the animatronics Reservations are easy to come byCons:

While Rainforest Cafe is a fun experience, the food is just meh. You can get the same quality of food at any TGIFridays. If you have super picky eaters, Rainforest Cafe would be a good choice since the food selection is pretty basic.

Kind of a let down. great atmosphere, less expensive, awesome gift shop. the food was unfortunately mediocre at best and not many options for dietary restrictions. it's great for children, but not adults, unless you solely want the nostalgia.
