If you want to know what it feels like to be shaken by a dog then ride this ride. Unnecessarily rough for no reason. Roughest ride ive been on. I wanted it to be over as soon as it started.

Pros:

Artifacts in line were cool.

Cons:

Storyline was weak. Gives you whiplash. Animatronis were meh.

This is one of the rougher rides I experienced at any Disney park. The sound and the jostling is a bit much and the concept is lacking in my opinion. The ride system could be utilized far better than this. Not for most kids in my opinion, even if they meet the height requirement.

Pros:

It is a notable ride and the queue is themed well.

Cons:

very rough (don't go if you have back or neck issues), the theme and story are lacking.

Worst ride at Disney World!!!!

Pros:

No line

Cons:

Beyond jerky, it feels like you will get thrown out of the car at any given time. You will also likely injure your neck, back or both. The ride wasn’t even entertaining, we just wanted it to be over the whole time.

It is a very thrilling and dark ride with loud audio and larger than life Dino animatronics but in recent years has really been watered down

Way back when it was Countdown to Extinction the ride was even wilder…they toned it down after Dinosaur came out and the ride was renamed but it was equally as fun to ride…

However the last couple times I rode it it felt boring…they removed two of the giant Carnotarus figures…one by the photo stop and the head at the end…and now you just see a head by the photo stop that isn’t even hidden

I get kids might be scared but that is why you read ride descriptions before riding…Indy has more thrills than this

There were also strobe effects that were removed but those are understandable with people having medical conditions that can be triggered…that said they never replaced them with anything so the whole time travel effects they use to create are just gone

If the line is short and you like dark loud and jerky rides along with Dino’s give it a try…otherwise head under the giant green Dino and head over the bridge to Everest

Pros:

Thrilling adventure to the past for the most part Fun facts from Bill Nye while you wait in the queue Unlike Indy the vehicle is actually rolling along creating a wild ride

Cons:

Loud and dark which could scare some riders The scare factor has been reduced in terms of the main predator and surprise sightings The ride is bumpy and jerky…while fun not a fit for anyone with back or neck issues

If you consider darkness theming then this ride is for you. The animatronics barely move, you can't see anything. They took a great ride from another park and cheaped out on the theming. IF there isn\\'t a line and its hot out it might be worth a ride.

Pros:

Phylicia Rashad, air conditioning

Cons:

Rough, Lackluster animatronics and theming

I do not get the hype. Indiana Jones in Disneyland is a great ride. This ride is terrible. The animatronics are mediocre, the ride relies on darkness and basically strobe lights to make up for the lack of effort put into it. The concept is cheesy with the storyline, the ride is very rough, and the light at the picture is blinding. This ride is well liked by many, but I can’t figure out why…

Pros:

None? It has dinosaurs, but the animatronics are pretty unimpressive

Cons:

Rough, blinding lights, very disappointing if you’ve been on its Disneyland cousin themed to Indiana Jones.

I am an adult that loves all thrill rides but this ride is terrifying to me. The animatronics are impressive but they're so big, loud, and scary in the dark. The actual ride is fun but the theming could definitely scar children.

Pros:

fun track & very thrilling

Cons:

Loud noises, dark, scary

This ride is my least favorite at Animal Kingdom (I don't count the other two rides in Dinoland, sorry).

It's a rough ride and I feel like some of the lighting isn't working. And some of the animatronics. I'm also not a fan of the plot or the Dinosaur movie.

It's not a big deal if I don't make it to this attraction while visiting Animal Kingdom.

All this being said, I wouldn't be upset if this ride (maybe even Dinoland as a whole) was re-themed in the future.

(Last visited May 2021)

Pros:

Usually has a short line, only ride in Dinoland worth a ride

Cons:

Rough, Broken Effects and Animatronics

I had heard this ride was jerky, but wow. We were aching for the rest of the day. Go ride Everest instead.
Perhaps they could retheme this by making it more gentle and kid friendly. It doesn't work as a thrill ride.

Pros:

Umm...dinosaurs I guess

Cons:

Literally painful experience
