GREAT FOOD! Characters were so fun!

Cons:

busy!!!

Sure it's busy, but it's a character breakfast! However, it was a great experience with very good food. The characters come around one at a time and spend a couple of minutes with each table! We were not rushed at all and were able to enjoy our selves and get some great pictures. Best character breakfast around!!!

This is easily our favorite character breakfast. The food is the best we have experienced on property. They have the regular breakfast options plus many brunch and specialty items you can't find at other locations. I love the Jungle Juice and Fresh Coffee! Really nice to see Daisy as well.

We love the Tusker house breakfast. We dined here on 4/2 and brought my in-laws for their first visit. The food was varied enough to feel special yet familiar enough to be safe. Mickey was by far the most attentive character. He spent well over 5 minutes "chatting" with my children. Hugs and kisses and pictures galore! I know the prices are high here because of the the "big cheese" but I wish it was a little cheaper. Oh well!

We had a pretty good experience at Tusker House. Luckily were were able to get in early before the park even opened and I liked the fact that there was a separate line for us to get in and people were directing us. I was surprised to find that the place was not packed to the gills and the food was plentiful and we had many choices. We didn't go away from this meal hungry!
I was only mildly disappointed with the character experience.. we did get to meet Donald, Daisy, Mickey and Goofy- which was awesome (only Donald didn't sign autographs) but it just felt a little rushed. Also, we were in a back corner where we had to shut the blinds so that we weren't blinded by the sun but made it difficult to get good pictures.
Staff was very accommodating and extremely friendly! Would spend the money to do it again (although it's pretty high for a breakfast!)
On the flip side, Disney should bottle the juice that they serve for breakfast there! I could have enjoyed an entire jug of it! Amazing!

Third time at TH. previously rated a 10. This time I have to lower my rating.
Ate here 2/7 with ADR 8:00. We previously have been seated in small room off to the left as you enter restaurant. This time we were in the big room on right with everyone else. Our server wasn't really friendly and I don't remember seeing much of her. The tables were close together and it was hard to get out of our seats. Difficult to make our way through all the peope and characters to the buffet. And the restaurant wasn't even full.
The character interaction was brief. We didn't need autographs so they pretty much just posed for a photo and moved on.
Food was still fantastic so I'd eat here again definitely, but was disappointed in "my favorite character meal".

I never saw that much food in my life. Everything is good. Mickey's waffle, spicy potatoes, well it's all good and warm. I find it's a little expensive for a breakfast, but with that much food for breakfast, you can skip lunch.

My sister and I dined here on 1/14. We were seated right at the time of our reservation.
The food was excellent and the character interaction was great. As others have said, the jungle juice is sooooo good! Our server (who's name I wish I could remember) was FANTASTIC! She gave us tons of tips for AK and came back when the characters were at our table to take pictures for us.
It was awesome to meet Mickey and other characters without waiting in long lines, and the character interaction was fantastic.

We ate here for the first time during our recent vacation. When people say it is loud, they are not kidding. It felt like we almost had to yell across the table to carry on a conversation. I can understand it because the place was packed and kids were excited to see the characters. The food was good. It was hot and fresh and there was a lot to choose from. We had some of the best service of our trip here so that was a bonus. If you are looking for a nice quiet breakfast, this is not the place. Otherwise, go and enjoy. It is worth it.

We hit this place up every time we go to Disney. Even took my very picky mother on our last trip and she loved it (plenty different types of foods). Can be a little loud but not overwhelming. Love this restaurant!!

Ate here for a second time during our vacation 12-14. This experience was much better than the first. We got to have our picture with Donald immediately, no waiting! Food was just as good as it was on 12-12.

DH and I had an early morning ADR for the Tusker House on 12/1 and it was fantastic. Our reservation was for 835AM and I believe that we waited a good 20 minutes PAST that time before we were called back for our photo op with Donald.
The food here is simply fantastic. The jungle juice was sinful and I had 4 glasses! Our server was very busy and we had to wait a bit to pay and leave, but it was a very delicious meal!
I would definitely come back to get into AK early and for a great character meet/greet.

Characters were rushed

Ate here for the second time on Dec 7th for breakfast with my two children. I ate here before and gave it a rating of 10 for the first time, but felt as if the characters were a little more rushed this time. Our reservation was for 8:05am, before park opening. I liked this because we could be finished with breakfast and then head on over to Kilimanjaro Safaris immediately after which is right next to the restaurant. We were done by 9:05.
Upon checking in, we had a 5 min wait and then had to wait on a long line to meet Donald Duck who only did greets outside. Each family had a family photo taken that was then brought to your table to see if you wanted to purchase it. It was expensive so I didn't buy it, but they did a great job with our picture.
After our picture was taken, we went inside and were seated at the same table we were seated in the first time I ate there. The server came right away and brought the special juice which I loved. I had several refills of this. It's so good. My kids and I went to the buffet. There are so many choices here. Your basic breakfast items are available and so much more. Lots of cereals, breads, muffins, eggs, bacon, sausage, fruits, ham, oatmeal, potatoes...I could go on and on. All items were hot and tasty. Very good food and seemed to be replenished at the buffet often.
Characters were Mickey, Daisy, and Goofy. All came in good timing with some time in between each to enjoy your breakfast. Only problem is that the characters do not much time with each table. They do a quick hug and a picture and they are gone. The last time I ate here, all characters spent a fair amount of time at our table except Mickey who was gone very fast.
I really like this place and will likely visit every time I go to Animal Kingdom especially since it gets us into the park before opening for a head start and has a great variety of food and the main characters.

Hubby & I ate breakfast here on 12/18/12. We liked how you get your picture taken with Donald outside before you get inside. The staff here was extremely nice & very organized. I am not a big fan of buffets, but the breakfast here was awesome! The eggs were fluffy, not watered down & mushy like some buffets, & the mickey waffles were excellent! We also had the roasted potatoes & bacon, which we really enjoyed. The baked goods were very good. For Disney, the coffee was awfully good too! The characters do a great job of getting to each table, and each has a cast member with them, making sure they get every table. Loved that the pictures taken outside with Donald were brought to the table to review for purchase (we got ours!). I only wish we could've used our Photopass here. We will definitely eat here again, and would like to try the dinner buffet to see how that is. Highly recommend Donald's Tusker House Breakfast buffet!

Had breakfast this morning, and let me say, undoubtedly the best breakfast buffet I've ever done on property. Tusker House never fails to disappoint.
The staff is amazingly friendly and personable, the food is great and has a wonderful selection outside your typical breakfast buffet fare. The character interaction is great. It has a great ambiance, and JUNGLE JUICE. It's pretty much worth it to go JUST FOR THE JUICE.
