Several folks have enlightened me about a few Hidden Mickeys I wasn’t aware of around Walt Disney World. Check these out!
On the “Journey of The Little Mermaid” attraction in Magic Kingdom’s New Fantasyland, look to the right of your vehicle in the “Under the Sea” song room and search for three oval purple corals stuck on a rock that form a classic three-circle Hidden Mickey. The corals are just to the left of the chorus line of singing and dancing fish standing on their tails. (Thanks to Cara Di Cicco).
In the new Test Track standby queue at Epcot, study the right wall for a classic Mickey traced on a translucent design board. It’s to the left of the man drawing with a marker on the glass. The Mickey image is faint and hard to see; it’s just to the left of his drawing hand. (Thanks to Wayne and Angie Vaughn, and Emily Brubaker).
Paint splatter Hidden Mickeys are back at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Walk around the outside of the Stage 1 Company Store near MuppetVision 3D and admire several yellow and purple spilled paint Mickey images on the ground. Here’s a yellow Mickey. (Thanks to Sarah Del Grande, and Maya and Suzanne and Octavio Perez).
Inside Tusker House Restaurant in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, walk into a small dining room near the restrooms. A classic Mickey is drawn on an attendance roster board on the wall to your left. It’s next to the top name on the board. (Thanks to Jessica Fraser).
Anytime you visit Disney property, be on the lookout for new Hidden Mickeys!
