It can be disappointing when we walk around a Disney park and there are signs of construction. As much as Disney would love to hide it, when a project as large as the ongoing work in the new Fantasyland is, it is just impossible. However, I look at it as new magical adventures to come. Which is what I did back in October of 2011 when I took this photo where the Be Our Guest restaurant and Gaston’s Tavern were being built. They are now open and receiving guests daily. An interesting Disney Pic of the Week on Construction.

  1. I agree with you, but I like sometimes getting photos of the “progress” while it’s happening and then coming back for a visit.

Scott replies: Yep, progress it is. The parks are ever evolving just like Walt always said they would.
