Light Meter by Lisa K. Berton

THE CONTEST HAS CLOSED

I’ve become quite the sweeper this year, entering and winning contests and sweepstakes, so now I’m holding my own for you to win. All you have to do is correctly answer 3 multiple choice questions, subjects that I’ve previously covered in my Light Meter blogs. Entries with the proper answers and information provided will be eligible to win his/her choice (Digital Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, Zoo Town, By the Water) of one of my 2011 calendars as sold on Lulu. There will be one winner. Be sure to read and follow the rules prior to entering. Good luck everyone!

1. Why should you use flash when your human subject is standing in the shade?
A. The background is too dark.
B. Shadows photograph blue causing the person to look like a Smurf.
C. It’s a trick question. You don’t use flash outdoors.

2. What should you do with a brand new memory card?
A. Format (initialize) it in the camera before taking any photos.
B. Lick it so no one will take it from you.
C. Start taking photos.
