Contributing photographer Jason of disneygeek.com sends us these photos from his trip to the parks on Friday, February 20, 2015 taking a look at the Happy Lunar New Year Celebration! at Paradise Gardens in Disney California Adventure. This event ran from Thursday, February 19 through Sunday, February 22.

A description of how some how some families celebrate the event:

Arts and Crafts: making a lantern

Character greetings: The line was between 45-60 minutes when I was there and they were rotating Mushu, Mickey/Minnie and Chip/Dale through. There was no guarantee which character you would meet.

Mushu was greeting when I first walked by.

There was an outdoor vending cart with some special food offerings for the event.
