What’s Next for AllEars.Net and Disney World

It’s September, the kids are back in school, the hurricanes have hopefully left for another year and now we are entering the fall/winter season at Walt Disney World.

There is lots going on at the parks and surrounding areas in the coming months. It’s a big time for the Disney and AllEars®.

Next on the agenda is the Press Event at the newest Disney Vacation Club resort, Aulani. Our west coast blogger Laura Gilbreath will be headed to Aulani next week and will share photos and and her thoughts about the resort. If you want a sneak peak, Jennifer B just concluded a 3-part blog about her visit to the resort!

The first weekend in October will be a busy one at Walt Disney World. The Magic Kingdom celebrates 40 Magical Years; it’s the start of Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival and time for the Wine and Dine Half Marathon! We have a group of Team AllEars® runners who will be participating, some of whom just ran the half marathon in Disneyland!

Deb Koma and I will be in town reporting on these events. We’ll spend a fair amount of time experiencing the Food and Wine Festival — from the First Bites Reception, to Culinary Demonstrations to Wine Seminars, to World Showplace food booths. You can find us on Twitter, Facebook and these blogs sharing our experiences with you.

On October 7th and 8th, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin will hold their 2nd annual Food and Wine Classic . I’ll be there covering those events too! You can read my report from last year!

After that, we return home to put the final touches on our December to Remember 15th Anniversary Weekend that takes place December 8-11 at Walt Disney World! We have a wide variety of events from meet and greets in the parks, to a tour of a Kidani Village Grand Villa to a special time with Disney Artist Don “Ducky” Williams. Some events have tickets remaining so be sure to check out our schedule!

All that being said, I’ll be a bit quiet for the next week or so. I’m headed on a cruise (don’t tell on me, but it’s not Disney) and plan to get some good old R and R. I’ve got at least one blog scheduled while I’m gone and I know I’ve left the websites in very capable hands.

Thanks for reading!

Catch you on the flip side 🙂
