It is no secret that popular attractions at Disney World can have super long waits.
Rides like Slinky Dog Dash and Rise of the Resistance often have notoriously long waits. Disney knows this and has tried to combat this with interactive queues like with Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Or even by adding a Virtual Queue to new attractions like TRON Lightcycle / RUN and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. And, of course, there is Disney’s pay-to-skip-the-line service, Genie+. There is one attraction, however, that has a particular area that might help those who can’t always make it through a long line.
When Pandora: The World of Avatar first opened, Flight of Passage was super popular, and wait times could be up to 400 minutes (that is over 6.5 hours!). While wait times have gone down from opening day waits, Flight of Passage still has high wait times.Â
For many folks, wait times of over an hour can be challenging because of the need for a bathroom.
When Flight of Passage first opened in 2017, there were no bathrooms in the queue. When the wait times were over six hours, you had to hope you did not have to go to the bathroom or hope that someone was willing to let you go back to your spot in line.
Well, in 2019, there was an incident with someone waiting in line for Flight of Passage that made Disney realize that bathrooms within the Flight of Passage queue would be a beneficial addition.Â
If you want to use this exclusive bathroom, you will have to wait in line for the attraction. The bathroom can be found about mid-queue.
We think adding bathrooms mid-queue to popular attractions is a great idea, and can help ease the stress of waiting in a long line. Keep following us here at AllEars for more Disney World tips!
