There are so many things to do at the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival.
First, you’ve got all the beautiful topiaries scattered all over EPCOT. Then there are the outdoor food kitchens. There’s even a fun scavenger hunt where you can earn a fun prize. That prize, though, recently changed.
The scavenger hunt is Spike’s Pollen Nation Exploration, where you’re tasked to search for Spike the Bee, who has hidden all over the World Showcase. For $9.99, you buy a special map that comes with stickers, and when you find Spike in a specific location, you’ll add a sticker on the map in the right location until you have found all the hidden Spikes. Then you turn in the map for a prize.
Originally, that prize was a fun Mini Cornhole game inspired by Orange Bird, butterflies, Coco, and Spike the Bee.
However, that prize changed to an Orange Bird Flower & Garden Festival Magnet last month.
Well, the Cornhole game prize is now BACK. We’ll say this happens quite a bit with these scavenger hunts. Disney didn’t explain if prizes run out or why the prizes change, but you might want to double-check the prize before you buy the map to make sure it’s something you’d like.
So it looks like this will be the prize you’ll win for now. We always love doing the scavenger hunt — it’s a fun activity for the whole family, and the prize is worth the $10 price tag of the map.
You can purchase maps at EPCOT’s various souvenir shops. Once you’ve completed the map, you can return to World Traveler, Creations, Port of Entry, or Disney Traders to claim your prize.
The EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival runs through May 27th, so you still have plenty of time to check it out.
