Could This Disney Survey Signal Potential Theme Park CHANGES?

We recently received a guest survey from Disney that asked about a wide range of topics!

Disney World

Disney often sends out surveys to guests asking about their opinions on various services and experiences. The responses are often used to help tailor future decisions in the theme parks to keep guests happy and coming back for more. We recently received one such survey that covered an interesting range of subjects!

After a trip to Magic Kingdom earlier this week, we received a survey that asked about our experience. It included many different questions about our day in Magic Kingdom, including our overall experience, our use of specific services, the cleanliness of the park, and more.

While most of the questions were multiple choice, some gave us the option to write in our opinions.

The survey also included several questions about crowd levels, including one that asked how much we agreed that “Congestion/crowding in certain areas of the Magic Kingdom made it difficult to get from one place to another in a timely manner.”

Question about Crowds

In addition to asking about parts of our day that Disney has a direct impact on, like cleanliness and crowds, we were also asked if the weather had an impact on our visit.

Weather Question

We also found it interesting that the survey asked if the behavior of other Guests had a negative impact on our visit to Magic Kingdom.

Survey Question

The survey included a few questions about both Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lanes.

Genie+ Question

We didn’t purchase either Genie+ or an Individual Lightning Lane on this visit and were asked what impacted our decision to not buy them.

Individual Lightning Lane Question

In addition to lots of Magic Kingdom-specific questions, the survey also asked how big of a fan we are of several specific intellectual properties, including Avatar, Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar, and Disney in general.

Avatar Question

To round things out, the survey also asked about our awareness of Disney’s official online merchandise source and our likelihood of making a purchase there within the next 12 months.

Online Shopping Question

From our experience that day in Magic Kingdom, to our general opinions on Disney intellectual properties, to online shopping and more, this survey covered some ground! Disney typically uses these survey responses to help map out their future strategy and experiences, so we’ll be on the lookout for any hints at changes on the horizon!

  1. Got the same in early Jan. I’m tired of being expected to pay extra for Genie+ or early/late parties. They wanted $155 for the late night party! Crazy.
