EPCOT has been undergoing a massive transformation over the past few years. New neighborhoods, new attractions, new places to eat — there are so many places to explore and even more additions on the way! It may seem like it’s been a long process, but our patience is paying off.
A big project that’s been under construction for some time now is the upcoming CommuniCore Hall. This will be the first structure in the park’s history built exclusively for festivals! Not only will this highly-anticipated space be home to galleries, a demonstration kitchen, and a mixology bar, but we just learned there will be a meet and greet too!
Everyone’s favorite mouse is going to be taking up residence at the new CommuniCore Hall in EPCOT this year! Found in the World Celebration neighborhood, CommuniCore Hall will be the location of an all-new meet and greet featuring both Mickey and Minnie Mouse in their platinum 100th anniversary outfits.
Disney has released some brand-new concept art for the hall that gives us a better idea of what to expect. The exterior has a sign saying “Mickey & Friends” and maybe we will see some other classic characters make an appearance!
Inside, there is so much to look at! Different exhibits feature a variety of Disney characters, and everywhere you turn there’s something different to check out.
CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza are scheduled to open this fall. This marks the completion of the World Celebration neighborhood! Character meet and greets will begin then as well, and we are looking forward to catching up with Mickey and Minnie in their new home.
