We’ve been keeping a close watch on the new Walt Disney World Swan Reserve Hotel for several months, and the day we’ve been waiting for is finally here!
The new hotel property, located right next to the Swan and Dolphin Hotels, has officially opened!
There are a lot of neat perks to staying at the Swan Reserve: the 14-story hotel features 349 guest rooms, including 151 suites, all of which featuring floor-to-ceiling views of Disney World.
Here’s a look at one of those guest rooms:
The Swan Reserve, like the Swan and Dolphin Hotels, is within walking distance of both EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
That means you can get awesome fireworks views at night!
The hotel will also include four new dining spots, including Amare, the signature Mediterranean restaurant.
Now, guests have even more options when it comes to on-property hotel accommodations! Be sure to follow along for all of the latest news and updates from around Disney World.

Stayed 9 days, in both a standard room for 5 days then a suite for 4. With pull out, make sure you get bedding none came with that. The standard room has very little storage drawer space. Amazon fresh orders, one was delivered to the Swan we had to go hunt it down ourselves, the other made it to the reserve, but I had to hunt it down too. Bell service sent me to business center, who knew nothing about it, I was outside on the phone with Amazon when I saw valet service accept a delivery. I went over and they had mine too.
View was nice, bar staff was friendly, everyone was wonderful trying to help. Transportation was great. Love the location. The 70’s feel did nothing for me. It lacks the grandure of the Swan and Dolphin, no beautiful landscape or fountains. It felt more like an afterthought compared with the other 2 resorts.
Just stayed there this past weekend for Wine and Dine. A few cons – do not plan on using their internet for Zoom/Team/ Google video conferencing meetings (it can not handle streaming), you get a sheet and a coverlet for bedding no blankets? If you ask about it it’s just a softer version of the coverlet. Lights are motion sensors and can be annoying if you are trying to add light to the room. Pros – with offers/deals it can be cheaper to stay there after resort fees than a moderate resort, turn down service, firepit, possible views of Epcot fireworks from your room, access to Dolphin/Swan resort amenities.
Can’t wait for Quincy’s Tour (fingers crossed)
I stayed at The Dolphin. But that was a long time ago, loved the convenience of being able to walk either way or have a shuttle craft come and take me across the lagoon.
We have stayed at both The Swan and The Dolphin and loved both of them. Location was the best!
