It’s been a week of news at Universal Orlando as Halloween Horror Nights was confirmed for this year, lights were being tested at the VelociCoaster, and Volcano Bay reopened once again.
And, it looks like we’ve got yet another piece of news about a treat that has stuck around the park for a very long time.
Universal Orlando has officially confirmed that Dippin’ Dots will no longer be sold across the resort. According to Attractions Magazine, Dippin’ Dots have been removed from menus across the parks over the last few months and Dippin’ Dots carts have been pulled as well.
Universal Orlando shared that, “Dippin’ Dots is no longer offered,” after being sold across the property for over a decade. Dippin’ Dots used to be found in spots like Hop on Pop in Seuss Landing, near Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges, and at the Hollywood or Bust trailer in KidZone.
Still, Endless Summer Resort Dockside Inn and Suites is currently offering “Mini Melts” at Pier 8 Market. The brand is a competitor of Dippin’ Dots with similar beaded ice cream. We’re not sure if this will stick around as well, but we’ll update you with more details! Stay tuned to AllEars for more Universal news!
