We’ve been excitedly waiting for the premiere of WandaVision ever since it was announced. And, we hope you’ve got your remote ready in hand, because it has FINALLY debuted on Disney+!

We’re already obsessed after only two episodes, but Marvel has us even MORE hooked with all the hidden details placed throughout the show.

Thanks to the Marvel fans on the AllEars team, Time Magazine, and BuzzFeed, we’re giving you a look at some of the biggest Easter eggs we found while watching the first two episodes of WandaVision!

WARNING: Spoilers ahead!

TV Commercials

Each of the WandaVision episodes is separated by a commercial. But, they’re not just adorable nods to the shows of the past. In fact, they are references to bigger parts of the Marvel universe! In the first episode, a toaster made by Stark Industries is advertised with beeping noises and flashing red lights that are a bit unsettling.

Then, the second commercial shows off a fancy watch called a “Strucker” with the HYDRA octopus symbol on it. You might remember that Wolfgang von Strucker just happened to be the HYDRA leader who experimented on Wanda and her twin brother, Pietro, by using the Mind Stone until they gained powers.

Wanda also has mixed feelings about Stark Industries, considering the fact that it was their bomb that detonated and destroyed Pietro and Wanda’s family home. So, these commercials could be pieces to the bigger picture of what Wanda has been through.

SWORD Symbols

After SHIELD is dismantled, Nick Fury works to form SWORD, which is a new unit meant to fight off supernatural threats from space. You might recall that Fury was working on this from a spaceship at the end of Spider-Man: Far From Home. The SWORD symbol pops up quite a few times in the series so far with the symbol on the monitor at the end of the first episode…

…and the back of the beekeeper’s suit at the very end of the first batch of episodes.

Kathryn Hahn Might Be a Villain

We have been LOVING Kathryn Hahn’s character so far on WandaVision with her wacky antics and bubbly attitude. But, the name Agnes could be a clue to the neighbor named Agatha Harkness (AGatha HarkNESs) who happens to be a witch as well.

Agnes is even wearing the same brooch that Agatha wears in the comics. Agatha trains Wanda, but their relationship takes a turn for the worse eventually (no spoilers here).

“House of M” Wine Bottle

When Wanda and Vision host their wild dinner party during the first episode, they pour glasses of a wine called “Maison du Mépris,” which translates to “House of Contempt” or VERY loosely “House of Misery.” So, that big letter “M” on the bottle could be a major nod to the “House of M” storyline.

In case you need a quick recap, “House of M” follows Wanda who is mourning the death of her fellow Avengers and Vision after she accidentally kills them. In order to self-soothe, she creates an alternate reality that allows her to control the universe she is in, as she has a “happy” life with her love, Vision. Of course, that doesn’t really work out the way she planned (but we’ll touch on that later).

The Daughter of Captain Marvel’s Best Friend

We’re introduced to actress Teyonah Parris as the character Geraldine in this alternate reality. However, Parris is actually set to play Monica Rambeau, who is the daughter of Maria Rambeau (Captain Marvel’s bestie). The last time we saw her was when she was a little girl in the ’90s, but now, Monica is technically grown up.

We’re not entirely sure what Monica has to do with Wanda at this point, but she could always be helping Carol Danvers in some unrevealed way.

Infinity Stones

The magic show that Wanda and Vision put on is a hoot within itself, but the cabinet nods to the Infinity Stones that Wanda is trying to escape. The design on the center of the magical cabinet appears to be the Mind Stone, which has been destroyed along with Vision in reality.

Marvel Numbers

It wouldn’t be the MCU without pieces of the puzzle connected together! And, we’re taking you on a little numbers trip that reference parts of the comics and films. On the “sold” sign outside Wanda and Vision’s house, the last four digits of the real estate agent’s phone number are “0125.” This could be a nod to the Avengers #125 comic book where the Avengers fight Thanos, whose cover shows Scarlet Witch and Vision fighting the big baddie.

Wanda and Vision’s house is also numbered 2800, like Earth-2800 in the comics. This means we are definitely in an alternate reality, since “main Earth” is actually Earth-616.

Lastly, the anniversary date on Wanda and Vision’s calendar might be a sly reference to the 23 Marvel Cinematic Universe movies that have made it to the big screen prior to WandaVision’s debut.

Nod to Ant-Man

When Wanda is chatting with the ladies in her neighborhood, the radio plays the song “Help Me Rhonda,” which sounds like “help me, Wanda.” Then, the voice of one Jimmy Woo asks “Who is doing this to you?” Randall Park will return to play his role as the agent from Ant-Man, even though it hasn’t been revealed in what capacity.

Wanda’s Pregnancy… with Twins!

Looping back around from the “House of M,” Wanda and Vision actually have twin boys… but it’s pretty weird how it all happens. While Wanda does have her kids, Billy and Tommy, with Vision, they are a part of the narrative she’s made for herself.

©Marvel

Since WandaVision will lead into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, it’s important to note that Doctor Strange actually plays a huge role in the twins’ lives. So, we might be seeing Benedict Cumberbatch pop up sooner or later in WandaVision! Who knows? 😉

That’s a LOT to think about with only two episodes down in the series! And, we can’t wait to see everything else coming to the series (and the MCU) soon!

Here were 55 of our thoughts during the premiere of WandaVision!

  1. Earth-616 is only the main Earth in the comics. The MCU takes place on Earth-199999. There is no Earth-2800 in the comics.
