Pros: friendly service, not usually crowded
Cons: somewhat limited menu, standard Chinese fare

Personally I could take or leave this place, but it's one of hubby's favorites and we've been coming here for years. I do all the ADR planning but he always asks me about where we're eating in the World Showcase. I learned one year that if I leave this out he gets mad, so we go every visit now. That being said, I do enjoy it because it makes him happy, my kids like it too, and I do like the food. It's good. Not fabulous, but good. I can't wait to see what the rehab brings as I think the open kitchen atmosphere will be a great improvement.

Pros: great food
Cons: none

Stopped in at Nine Dragons for a late luch last week. Great food and service! No wait, friendly polite cast members, and fast service. Honey sesame chicken was excellent as was the Peppered beef. Will stop there again, though it won't be open next trip, due to the rehab. But there is always the following trip!

Pros: Fast service, nice seating area, good food
Cons: Dessert here is limited

My husband and I ate here on a whim during our honeymoon 2 weeks ago. The service was super fast and the food quality was very good. The shrimp fried rice was very light and the orange chicken wasn't too fatty (like the standard Chinese food joints in PA). The ice cream dessert choices weren't the best.

Pros: Seated quickly
Cons:

We had lunch here on 4/24. This place is in dire need of the rehab! The food was okay and the server did not really seem to care about our comfort.

Pros: Fried rice bowl, view
Cons: food,waitress

Ate here March 30th. No waiting in line which was good. While the decor was themed nicely and the view out side was lovely, the food how ever was overall not pleasant. Beef and broccoli wasn't very good nor was the honey chicken. I had the fried rice bowl. It was a VERY large serving, which was fine with me.Our waitress seemed like she really didn't want to be there nor serve us. Best part of Nine Dragons was we left. Hope the revamp does this place some good.

Pros: outstanding food
Cons: none

Stayed from 2/24-3/1 at the Poly. Being on the Deluxe Dining we had no problems with our meals. We even cancelled a lunch at Chefs (which we still haven't at) just so we could go a second time to Nine Dragons. The interior is decorated nicely, and getting a window seat w/ a six year old was super! The entrees were delish!!

Pros: great table great atmosphere
Cons: none

Booked a table here before leaving for vacation. It was a second choice as Japan's Teppan Edo was fully booked, now we are glad they were. A great meal really tasty, fantastic service. Our 9 yr old son loved it and is now a Chinese food addict. Our table was right next to the window and we were lucky enough to has the reflections of Earth fireworks going off, what seemed to be right next to out table. On the list for our next visit!!

Pros: Food
Cons: Disinterest of the waiter...

The food here was delicious ! I had sesame chicken, my girlfriends had other dishes which they said were excellent. We arrived at about 3:30 Pm and walked right in and were seated to eat immediatly. No wait at all..not sure if this is normal.

The waiters could be more attentive...but the food was excellent !!

Pros: Amazingly beautiful architecture and décor. The food is just perfect.
Cons: Might have to wait some time, even though you have a reservation.

When we got there, we had to wait almost 30 minutes for our table, which was fine, we had some time for a few pictures, and it was definitely worth the wait. Our server was very respectful. Being a Chinese food addict some items were familiar and some weren’t, so our server was kind enough to explained almost everything on the menu. For an appetizer the Sha cha beef skewers were an eye opener, tasted great. The drunken chicken tasted wonderful although the Shao Xing wine that is used to marinate it might be too strong for some people, and its served cold so I don’t think everybody would like it.
The hot and sour soup is always a favorite of mine and this one was ok to me.
The Canton Pepper Beef is really good, so is the sweet and sour pork. There is a plate which I found the most interesting of all, the Sichuan Treasures of the Sea; it’s a big hearty casserole of seafood and vegetables with such a great blend of spices that really opens up some new flavors. Fried rice is always good, although I would keep the steamed white rice, since its better to blend in with your entrée. Beside this the place is beautiful. The architecture is great, every little detail of the restaurant is hand carved in wood and my wife though the chandeliers were spectacular. I read that right now there going through renovations and we really hope they don’t change it that much.

Pros: Food quality, price, service
Cons: None

We ate here for dinner in Mid December and loved it. After trying to make reservations at other places, we made one here the same day. The food was excellent. We had the dinner for two which includes an egg roll, appetizer (soup), entree, and dessert. The price was great and the portion sizes were generous. We will go back again on our next trip.

Pros: Exceptional Food
Cons: nothing

The food here was beyond exceptional! We were all extremely impressed by the food and our waiter! He was great . . . reminded us a few too many times about the tip, but other than that, it was a great experience and we highly recommend it to everyone. We were early for our reservation, but they seated us right away.

Pros: variety, relaxed atmosphere, window tables are great
Cons: small portions, wait staff hit or miss

We were delighted that Nine Dragons was still open when we dined there Jan 15th for lunch. It was announced that they were to close after the new year for major transformations. I asked the lady at check in that it would be at least Feb before they closed and that the changes would only take 4-5 months, shorter than originally thought. We did not have a reservation but were seated immediately at a table by the window as requested. Our waiter was a delight, he obviously was a local hire rather than a foreign student here for a year. He spoke perfect English and was so accommodating to my kids. Our meals came our fast and refills were plentiful. All other trips/meals here, we questioned whether the waiter really wanted to do his job, this time there was no question, he was great. The food, while smaller portions than our local Chinese, was excellent, I just wish white rice would come with the kids meals! The price is more than my local Chinese rest. (by far) but the meal was good and worth it just to enjoy a sunny day with endless refills people watching from our window table!

Pros: usually quiet, hot food
Cons: service varies, they try seating everyone in the same area

Nine Dragons does not get as much credit as it deserves. I feel that many people do not come here because they don't want regular Chinese food on vacation. The fact is Nine Dragons always serves up delicious, tender, tasty food. On our last visit, the service was a little lacking with our server throwing our straws at us, but the food is really good. I always get the fried rice bowl which is so big I never finish. My sister had the honey sesame chicken and it never disappoints. Their iced tea is iced green tea and it has a great zing to it. This place is always on the available list in guest services and if you are looking for a good meal on a whim, come here.

Pros: none
Cons: food

I used to enjoy this restaurant when the dining plan included appetizers. Now the food isn't as good because it's plain. And there is not a lot of desserts to choose from.

I would not recommend this restaurant.

Pros: Food was good
Cons: Portions smaller than usual and price was higher

Ate at Nine Dragons on December 27th, 2007. The dinner for two had gone up from $43.99 to $49.99,
which I condsidered a big jump. Also, the portions were smaller than the last time I ate there (Oct, 2007). It seems to be getting quite expensive to eat in the parks.
